Mike Piazza Honda - This is my dashboard after I visited another Honda location

I'm always astounded at dealerships that get 5 star ratings because it really means either you got…read morean amazing deal or you work there...just kidding. We came to Mike Piazza Honda to get a car for hubby after his was totalled and I was 8 months pregnant (seriously stressed). I appreciated that this dealership had updates on their promotions and cars available in our price range on their website (just make sure to double check which location apparently there are many Mike Piazza Hondas). Putting aside the fact that buying a car anywhere takes a million hours, I did appreciate that viewing, test driving and car faxes were fast. As for the downside, like many other dealers, they tried to get over on us with the price of a car. Hubby and I had seen it online and thought it was at this lot, turns out it was in a Chester County Honda dealership....yet they had nearly the same identical car (mileage, year, make & model) on their lot for $2k more! I asked if they would price match...nope. We had to threaten to leave and let them run hubby's perfect credit score in order to bring the price down. By this point it was 9 pm and they were closing, we were upset the process wasn't wrapped up....BUT here's the shocker...they let us take the car home without signing anything! Obviously we had to come back to do the paperwork the next day, but I was shocked at the fact that we were able to leave with the car with a mere copy of hubby's license....then again I'm from Jersey and car theft is rampant by us. The next day we came back for the loan portion, by this point I was able to do some research and see that we were eligible for 3% APR through our bank....the dealership was offering a ridiculous 12.5% (you know, because of our great credit score, ha!). Hubby had to hardcore negotiate that down, as I growled over the phone at the dealer for trying to take advantage of us. Needless to say we wore them down and now have a nice car for the baby. I don't think this is an abnormally bad experience for car shopping, having done this twice before, and it ALWAYS being a hassle. So this is a fair warning to brace yourself AND do research about car loans BEFORE walking into a dealership lot.

This place is a fricking joke! I called and made a service appointment for my neice who was…read morevisiting from out of state. She had driven over 12 hours and needed her air conditioning fixed. I was told it could be seen the next day and to drop it off. At the appointed time, it was dropped off only for the service lady (huge stretch of the word might I say) whom decided they may or may not get to it and may fall into the following weeks work. Ummm.... It was specifically mentioned that my neice did not live here and was visiting and would be leaving following the weekend thus the need to be done that day as per the appointment scheduled. My neice was terrified to go back into discuss anything with the rude person. So I asked immediately to speak to the Service Department MANAGER. Upon doing so was assured the vehicle was definitely going to be worked on, diagnosed and a call would be given to me no later than 3pm. By 3:30pm there was no call, in fact when I called to speak to said Manager, he was in ' a meeting' and unable to assist me. Further more the vehicle was not looked at and would not be until the mid week. At this point I wasn't accepting this as acceptable. I informed the woman that this went against everything I'd been promised earlier in the day, and I was repeatedly interrupted while doing so. I asked the woman why she was being so rude and why the lack of customer service? To which she hung up on me. At that point, we immediately retrieved the vehicle and took it directly across the street to a small auto shop where in fact they diagnosed the problem and had solved the issue within 12 hours on a Saturday! I highly suggest that you take the time to research your surrounding service departments before EVER BRINGING ANY VEHICLE TO THIS JOKE OF A DEALERSHIP!!! @HondaUSA @BBB PS If this could be a - * rating that's what I'd have given.
