It felt like our preferences were being ignored entirely. The customer service was also lacking. While trying on dresses, she would simply toss the next dress into the fitting room while I was still changing. When I finally had a dress to on, she was unable to zip it- stating she broke her hand over a year ago and thankfully the family members who came with me were able to help. Because of the poor service and limited selection, we ended our appointment early and called another store, which thankfully was able to fit us in the same day. After driving two hours based on Mimi's advertising, the experience was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend Mimi's to anyone shopping for a Mother of the Bride dress. She was nervous and upset because her wedding was in 4 weeks and her dress hadn't even arrived yet. That is scary on its own. The manager was literally yelling at the bride and we could hear everything. It was SUPER unprofessional. Our stylist even apologized... the bride said to us "do not buy here". We listened to her, obviously we do not want to go through that if we have issues too. The bride was in a crunch and literally showed up at our next appointment - she bought a different dress at the other shop. Like I mentioned - our stylist was friendly, but I don't even remember her name. We didn't connect. I felt comfortable at the other places and got to know the stylists and had conversations with them.

You could browse through the selections quickly. The service was impeccable. The lady helping me was very friendly and tiredless-ly helped me get in and out of at least 8 dresses that I pulled out. Some things to note: they don't let you take photos. This is pretty common in boutiques, something to do with agreements with the designers. Personally, I find it hard to not have pictures to compare with other dresses that I've tried on, but this is nothing against the shop itself. The price point is mid-high range for wedding dress, starting at just below $1K to a few grand. After that day, I received two hand-written notes from the shop reminding me to stop by anytime if I haven't found anything. They offer a small discount (I believe it was 15%) on dresses from that brand on the trunk show weekend. It's a size-able chunk of change when you are dropping upwards of $3K+ on a designer dress.
