Our wedding was beautiful. It was as close to perfect as it could be! We went with the Key West Havana Package which includes transportation for guests and a reception at El Siboney after the ceremony. Renata was amazing. She was very communicative throughout the entire process, answering all my many questions involving planning over email since I work nights. She handled transportation for all my guests (spread out all over the island!) like a pro. Even when last minute changes were made and people weren't where they should've been for pickup, everyone was taken care of. She's very personable and easy to talk to. She made me feel at ease from the planning, to the rehearsal, and through the ceremony. I felt a sense of calm through interaction with her. She's a bride whisperer! She has a gift for what she does and she does it all! She thinks of all the little details and is very organized. She was also very patient with my large wedding party. Everyone loved the food buffet at El Siboney and they were very attentive and quick with all the drink orders. The reception area was spacious and private, perfect for our 40+ guests. Would recommend this company and the Havana package. It felt like it was worth so much more than we paid, especially when you compare it with resort venue prices! We booked the original biggest littlest package. We loved all the options, and thought it had just enough. The week of there was a potential storm threatening our beach ceremony. Ray was honest and very open through communicating our options and was very accommodating. We talked multiple times throughout the week and he was very adamant on still trying to make our beach ceremony happen! It was the morning of and Ray had great news that if we moved the ceremony earlier we could make the beach happen!! Due to the stress of not being sure whether it'd be inside/outside he had chairs put out for our party which was so sweet. Him and Eileen were more than pleasant and so wonderful to work with. They may do a wonderful job at putting on a wedding but unfortunately we had to cancel our wedding indefinitely. I had paid for everything in advance and notified them more than 90 days in advance we had to cancel. I expected a fee to be assessed but was shocked when they let me know there would be no refund of any sort. They would be keeping every penny. Granted at this point the only thing they had done was send me an electronic contract. No other services had been performed. Had it been closer to the date I would have been more understanding but 3 months is plenty of notice to rebook the dates. Very disappointed. We worked with this company for 6 months. They were nothing but rude to us. I (the bride) have a bachelor's degree in event planning. All we wanted was a small, intimate wedding; it shouldn't have been hard. My mother in law is an attorney and saw some flaws in their contract. We had her reach out to them to help us out. They refused to talk to anyone but the bride. As a wedding company, they should know how busy and stressed out the bride is. We had so many people wanting to help us but they weren't allowed. We ended up having a group call with the wedding company and my mother in law. Ray was beyond rude and yelled at us. He wanted to give us our money back and cancel the whole wedding a month out. They pushed back on every single thing we wanted and were nothing but negative. Make sure you read your contract word for word before you sign anything. He has a specific clause about bridezillas and how they can cancel on you at any time if they don't like how you talk to them. This is really ironic to me considering they were beyond rude when talking to us. We were also supposed to have a meet and greet with the wedding coordinator before the wedding. They didn't reach out to us and quite frankly, I had it under control and we didn't want their help. We had the package with the dinner at El Siboney. We had been to this restaurant before and loved it! Everything for El Siboney was through Weddings to go. They made this extremely difficult. We ended up calling El Siboney directly and they were wonderful! We were told we couldn't do this by Weddings to go. El Siboney gave us way more details and let us do things that Weddings to go said we couldn't. We had also been to Key West many times and we were talked to by Ray as if we were stupid and had never been. We were promised we would get our bouquet early and they lied about that. The day of was okay. Our photographer was amazing! We did ask for a private album and ours was made public. We were rushed at the beach while trying to take our pictures after the ceremony. They were tearing down our decorations for our ceremony to set up for another one as we were taking pictures. Our photographer was shocked as well and didn't realize that they were double booked. We brought in our own officiant which we highly recommend! There have been lawsuits in Key West recently regarding wedding officiants. Thankfully, my friend at the Key West Police Department made me aware of this as their captain has been marrying people for free. Bottom line, these people are very rude and I wouldn't recommend them nor would I use them if I could do it all over again. Eileen handled the ceremony part and it was so meaningful and romantic. And Ray was the best, coolest photographer I've ever met! I usually hate having my picture taken and feel really awkward the whole time. But Ray was so funny and reassuring that I loosened up almost instantly. He made us laugh and feel really good about how the pictures were coming out and we were able to just relax and have a great time while he was snapping away (and the pictures came out AMAZING and were uploaded the next morning, by the way). Originally I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a cheaper than normal wedding and shotty "professionally edited" photos, that we paid an additional fee for, that seemed nothing of the sort. Also a very jumpy live stream/wedding video that people have commented that they were getting motion sickness from watching. Once they have their money they don't care. Them KNOWING the clerks office takes 2 1/2 to 3 weeks to process a marriage license, KNOWING we were not from Florida so the license would need to be mailed to us once the clerk completed it, and KNOWING that when they mail the signed marriage certificate it goes from Key West to Miami back to Key West to the clerks office which takes over a week through the mail. When we handed the certificate to them, as part of their service we paid for, we were told it was going to get to the clerk the next day, not mailed with a bunch of other certificates. Had we known this, we would have dropped it off to the clerk ourselves. To be in the business, and be alleged professionals, for them to handle it in this manner is disgraceful. Now, because of their incompetence, we may not be able to add the other to the health insurance policy or any other policy because of a 30 day window starting from the date of marriage. When contacting them they took no onus and blamed us. Don't waste your time, or money, with them. We booked our wedding through this company instead of doing it ourselves because we expected guidance and information. We also expected that if we had a friend or relative perform the ceremony weddingstogo would still turn in our marriage license since we were leaving on our honeymoon the following day. There was inclement weather on the day of our event, had we not booked a snorkel excursion the morning of the event we wouldn't have known until it was to late that there was a tropical storm on the way. We had to call weddingstogo to find out that we couldn't have the wedding on the beach and that we needed to scramble to find an alternate venue. We also figured out as the photographer was leaving that if you have a friend or family member perform the ceremony you have to file your marriage license yourself. One of the reasons we choose this company to do the ceremony was because they were supposed to take care of filing the marriage license, as I mentioned this didn't happen. We couldn't postpone because people were flying out the next day, The photographer and photos turned out great as did the bouquets. This company provides minimal support to it's patrons so as long as everything goes exactly as planned. If everything goes exactly as planned then this is a great company other wise you are pretty much on your own. I just called Ray at Weddings To Go to discuss out wedding which is scheduled for Jan 12, 2021. My fiancé and I are senior citizens and both have preexisting conditions. The increase in COVID-19 cases has caused us to put our trip to Key West on Hold. Ray refused a refund citing his "No Refund Policy". He talked about how much business he lost when customers cancelled because of the last hurricane. He held it against his customers for not wanting to have an outdoor beach wedding during a hurricane! He also does not believe the statistics regarding the surge in COVID infections. All he was willing to offer was the chance to reschedule our wedding within the next 12 months BUT ONLY IF WE SET THE DATE WITHIN THE NEXT 30 DAYS! He was unwilling to allow us additional time to schedule another trip to Key West. I felt this was unreasonable and an obvious ploy to avoid working with us. He has our money and that is all he cares about. Such a disappointment and his wife Eileen had been so nice when we made our reservation! I called to inquire about a ceremony package I saw online to verify info I saw online. The man who answered the phone treated me like complete garbage right off the bat, he questioned why I was calling on behalf of the bride who is my BFF. I told him I was helping her. He insulted and degraded women referring to brides as thinking they are princesses and their friends thinking they are wedding planners saying he's had bad experiences with his clients. I told him we are very nice down to earth people and not to worry about his fear of bridezillas. He was completely unprofessional speaking to me like that. I continued to be very polite and kind. I proceeded to ask about the description of package online to verify all included and ask some intelligent questions. He refused to answer my questions about the info I saw online, then asked me why I would even question the info on their website. I was just trying to go over the list of included items on website to confirm all included, like any intelligent person would. He refused to answer questions and told me he refused to help and refused to "do the wedding". They claim to be LGBQT friendly on their site, well they are not friendly at all! That is a LIE. The man who answered the phone was the most disgusting cruel monster of a person I've ever encountered. Extremely unprofessional. I was so nice to him too. He hung up on me when I asked a simple question trying to verify if the conch shells were included. I literally only got to ask a couple questions before he rudely hung up on me. It's likely because it's a very small budget wedding which I told him at the start of the call. This guy doesn't care about people at all, clearly. He's cruel and mean! He's the soup Nazi of weddings! Horrible man and I hope karma gets him good! There is something severely wrong with this man and this business! They canceled, revised terms, told us we couldn't have money paid back. We paid them to reserve a venue $901.39, with the remainder to be paid in full 60 days before the wedding. We are now being told that we are being canceled after inquiring about possible cancel options. When i called to speak with them, they said they would reinstate the order for $300 more and the remaining balance which came out to $1500+ due today. The man on the phone said i bet you don't get your money back, we take this serious, and we don't think you are serious. With traveling, and Covid around its a lot to ask people to give large deposits to a company when travel is so uncertain. This was my personal experience and my opinion of what happened on my wedding day: I can't believe how I was treated by the owner and wife of the company. Ray was extremely rude to me even before the ceremony began. He wanted to take pictures before we started so he began taking pictures of my daughter and step daughter. I told my daughter she needed to move just slightly and Ray yelled at me to "Stop!!" and then told me to "Turn around!" I was truly shocked at the way he spoke to me. Then, he yelled at my mother too. He was extremely disrespectful to me, my mother, my husband and one of my guests. He yelled at my guest for having a camera and told her she needed to leave. Leave? I can't believe that a day that was supposed to be magical and beautiful was ruined by this man's poor attitude and unprofessionalism. I cried so much after the wedding because I couldn't believe what happened. He was unapologetic and acted like our concern was none of his. I beg any bride to NOT use this company!! We would like to start with saying that we are truly blessed to have been able to have our dream beach wedding and we're grateful beyond words! We booked the White Glove Package with Weddings to Go Key West in early 2020 for just under $4000. Our initial conversations with owners were great and we felt we'd get everything we wanted and more. Unfortunately, we found ourselves treated rudely, fighting to get everything we paid for, and having to remind them several times of what we discussed in previous conversations. Our level of stress just days before our wedding was almost too much to handle, especially since we had to postpone once before. We were supposed to get a sound system but due to a few sprinkles before our ceremony they took that away...consequently our guests could not hear our vows :( We had our sand ceremony stuff moved by staff so there was an awkward pause during that special part of our vows while they went to go get it. We were rushed to take pictures and the staff was in a big damn hurry to take down setup and chairs so our guests' personal belongings were dumped in a pile in the sand. We wanted to have our first dance and father/daughter mother/son dances on beach before we left wedding site but they were in such a hurry they "forgot" and had already took speakers away. We asked to have our second hour of photography at reception dinner and my husband received a call in route to restaurant from owner/photographer asking where we were because 'he didn't have all night" and then we realized later that night that the staff took our remaining sand ceremony items with them and it was more attitude from owners to get it back so we could top off the vessel and ship it home. I would say that they provide nice services to those couples that are on a budget but for us we expected MUCH MORE in the way of service for their top of the line package. We want others to know of things we had problems with to help make an informed decision on their special day planning. Definitely protect your investment by getting wedding insurance as their contract pretty much guarantees you will not see a cent of your money again if anything happens. read more

I can not say enough wonderful things about Ray and Eileen and Weddings To Go! We were married on Smathers Beach on 11/19, and everything was PERFECT! From the first email conversation, all the way through the ceremony itself, everything was smooth sailing and Ray and Eileen were so easy to work with. They really took care of absolutely everything, which made planning the rest of our trip so enjoyable, and eased any concerns I had about pulling off a "destination wedding". We literally just showed up to beautiful decoration, an amazing steel drummer, friendly smiles, and a sunset that could not be beat...there was nothing that the missed! The live stream went beautifully, and we had so many people able to watch, that weren't able to make the trip with us, that it made it really special. The pictures came out amazing, and I can't wait to see the final videography! I know that it will be just as incredible as everything else.
