    Cute rustic style!

    Really great wedding decorations and a lot of different rental linens and furniture. I had a great time picking out all the different items; table pieces really great owner work with us directly and the manger/owner was super helpful and flexible. I Highly recommend anyone getting married to check out them out. I did have to schedule an appointment because I think they have various office hours so I would call and book an appointment before coming.

The months leading up to the wedding were the most stressful, and Teresa was always so kind, helpful, and organized. She made sure all my vendors were ready to go, and was always very responsive to my emails, calls, or texts. But the day of, was where she really shined. She was on-top of her game making sure everything ran perfectly, checking in with me when things were running behind schedule, and remembering the smallest details. Not only is she very good at her job, but her bubbly personality made me feel happy and at ease. Since I am a perfectionist who did a lot of the pre-wedding planning, this is saying a lot! I felt comfortable letting go and enjoying the moment, knowing that Teresa had it handled. Many of my guests that work in the industry also commented on what a great job Teresa did. Lina stepped up for us and helped put together a FANTASTIC party. She transformed a businesslike boardroom into a magical place for a ceremony. She provided the tables, chairs, curtains, most of the decorations, and did the floral pieces as well. She coordinated with our vendors and helped make the ceremony and luncheon one that my parents and their guests will remember forever. In addition to all the setup and coordination, she suggested a photo booth that would print out photos right there that all our guests enjoyed. We could not have done it without her and would gladly recommend her to anyone.

Once we eventually got our photos back we could see just how badly she had done. She used fake flowers when we paid for real, used the literal cheapest decor everywhere possible. We were sold a dream and were left with unlit tacky candles, plastic walls, exposed sand bags and BARE minimum decor. Practically everything she did for us was CHEAP and TACKY. She lied to us about having "a team" when it was just her husband and son that evening. When we reached out for a refund she agreed (clearly she knew she didn't do a good job) but when it was time to pay us she ghosted us for a year despite multiple efforts. Stay far away!!!

Before working with her we had hired a photographer and booked our venue but quickly realized we needed some guidance and help. We met with a few event planners but Kendra was the only one who seemed to actually listen to us more than talk to us about themselves. I trusted Kendra to see my vision for my wedding and really help me make it work. She had an entire list of vendors to refer us to and I knew that I could trust these vendors to show up and deliver what was promised. I did not know that much about weddings and Kendra was extremely helpful. She had a detailed checklist of things I needed to get done and dates they needed to be finished by. I always knew that nothing would be forgotten. On the day of the wedding she was there from the minute set up started. Once I arrived I knew she was taking care of things and I did not have to go double check (being the control freak I am). If there was anything that went wrong, I didn't know about it nor did I even notice. Her and her assistant Jordan were very organized and were very helpful whenever I needed anything. I just enjoyed my day. Kendra was very professional and takes this very seriously. She's not about to let your husband accidentally see you or let any wardrobe malfunctions get in the way. She has a special little kit for any problem. Trust me and trust Kendra to really take care of you and your event and make it amazing!!! We don't often leave reviews for other vendors (though we should) but we wanted to specifically point out a few things about Makenna that were noteworthy: *Her communication and organization before the wedding was superb. She was very clear and concise and her timeline was super detailed and well organized (we cannot say the same about all timelines we get from planners) *On the day of the event, she was very composed and relaxed! This may seem like a strange thing to point out, but this is the mark of someone who is good at what they do. It's not that she is "chill" or "doesn't care" it's because she's done her legwork and due diligence before the event to make sure that the day of goes smoothly *She goes above and beyond! There were a few venue issues that were solely the fault of the venue and no one else, Makenna immediately stepped in to help rectify these. She even got in her car and did a run to grab ice mid event (who does that???). Overall she is a true pro and made our day (and our client's wedding) amazing! If you're considering her as a wedding planner you can feel confident knowing she will take the time and care to make sure you have the celebration you deserve!

They helped us bring our vision to life while bringing up details neither of us had considered. My husband and I saw everything we'd planned with Makenna be executed beautifully on the day of, and were kept blissfully in the dark about any stressful situations that may have happened on wedding day! I am a super type-A person who already knew what I wanted for floral and decor coming into the working relationship and they not only brought it to life but Cindee was so helpful in offering guidance and building on the ideas I already had. The grounds are just sooo beautiful especially when their roses are in bloom. The ceremony area has two areas. One area faces the water and the other is more of a greenery view which both are just wonderful, you don't have to worry about the sun being in your eyes. The bar and buffet were placed right outside the reception area which was kinda nice so the long lines doesn't get in the way of the tables and dance floor. Loved the large glass chandeliers and draped curtain/tent vibes. Food was sooo good. I heard they made their food at the location so it nice and fresh. Tri tip, salmon mash potatoes and gravy with green beans, feta apple spinach salad and bread with butter was the menu. Drinks were white and red wine, beer and cocktail of choice was a berry sangria which was my favorite.

The staff was kind, helpful, and extremely accommodating - offering clear direction, checking in throughout the day, and making sure I had everything I needed to set up and serve with ease. It's rare to work with a venue that treats vendors like valued collaborators, but Lakeview truly did. As a guest, I got to see another level of excellence. The entire event ran seamlessly. Last-minute changes (like additions to bar and food service) were handled quickly and without a hitch. The staff was attentive, well-coordinated, and clearly experienced at handling all the behind-the-scenes details that make a celebration flow beautifully. In my opinion, having a wedding planner was a necessity and one I would advise other brides to have, even if it means scaling back on other costs for your wedding reception. For me personally, having a wedding planner was the difference between me just being able to "pull off" my reception and me being able to enjoy it. To save some money, I hired KWE for month of/day of coordination rather than full event planning (though they were available from the get-go for contract help, referrals and all-around advice). The month before my event, Kate swooped in and took care of all the details: designing the layout of the venue, coordinating with the vendors, etc. The week before, day before and the day of she took care of everything! She picked up supplies, was on hand to greet and coordinate with other vendors, did setup and cleanup, delivered items to my house after the reception, helped keep the party on track and so much more! I am not sure if there were any snafus (though I am sure there were, how couldn't there have been?) because if there were, she took care of them on the spot. She even jumped into action when I spilled red wine on my gown early in the evening. I really, really, really cannot emphasize enough how wonderful it was to have Kate and her team on board. I strongly advise you to consider hiring her for your event.
