It is now the day of and I spoke with her this morning to confirm everything. She said she would send me an invoice, told me what time I could be there and even asked if our artist would be willing to host these events regularly. An hour later I get professionally crafted email (which she has NEVER spoken to me in this way) telling that since I failed to get this event approved or send in a contract or pay beforehand AND because she is double-booked, my event is summarily CANCELLED. I have promoted this event, collected payment and to cancel with less than FIVE HOURS to go is not just unprofessional but is close to criminal. Carolyn refused to answer my calls, her staff hung up on me and all she did was send me an email stating she has to be "fair and consistent". Fair to whom?? Stay FAR AWAY from either of these businesses as they are NOT well run!
