I have been using Weedman's services for the past year. When we started, the lawn was in a fairly dismal state, covered with weeds, discolored grass and many patches with little or no grass. Weedman's service has been making a positive difference to the lawn; it looks healthier and the weed growth is under control. The service teams are efficient, courteous and willing to discuss issues and share info. Based on detailed notes made after each service call, Weedman tech reps have rendered valuable advice about tips and treatments to resolve issues and maintain a good looking lawn. I would like to specifically mention Bailey Ledbetter in this regards. She took time to have a detailed discussion about the lawn health and presented me with multiple options and resolutions as well as any discounts she could offer. Not gonna Lie they did a good job when they did the JOB!! But after a while they stopped communicating. I had them call me the day before to let me know they were coming to open the gate. No call!! Then they would leave their lil sign in my yard. Then I would call and they would say they would send some one and a few times they did but they stopped and just only serviced the front. Then after a while they sent me to collections! lol Funny how it works.. They don't do their job but want to mess with my credit. Tried to work something out with them but maybe I talked to the wrong person. But like I said when they did my full yard things were fine. read more

Weedman burned my yard and proceeded to blame my dog. I called and had to leave a message as their customer service is none existent. When I received a response, they asked to see photos. Same that are posted here. They proceeded to blame my dog and said they would need to send out a supervisor. I asked that service be refunded. This happened in early August and had to dispute charges through credit card. I fired them in August and won dispute with credit card. They recently reprocessed card for the charge so I have to dispute once again. Customer retention even called me today. Unbelievable! read more

As a current customer, I am getting calls from Weed Man about once a week and then being hung up on. When I called back to find why they were repeatedly calling me to hang up on me, instead of solving the problem they decided to read multiple sales scripts to me in a feeble attempt to get me to request additional services from them. I won't be renewing my services with Weed Man since they are less interested in delivering quality customer service and more interested in high pressure sales techniques. There are many other options out that who treat their customers better. read more

This is the worst company I've ever used. Had countless re applications and still not satisfied. Not supposed to charge for the reapplication but yet I get charged. My account is now on hold but they came anyway. I stopped the guy from doing the service and was charged anyway. I've tried to cancel but that's difficult as well. Had to speak to someone. After sitting on hold for 10 more minutes the line disconnected. Sloppy, incomplete job. read more

So after calling to remove the non performed Aeration services and receiving email confirmation that the services were removed, 2 weeks later I get a bill in the mail for the same service that was removed!!!! The bill was postmarked on 9/17/21. The email confirming the charges removed sent on 9/12/21. Date that issue was resolved in the system 9/15/21. Why did they mail a bill on the 17th if it was fixed on the 15th? Who are these people? You need to get a better form of customer contact because the calls and emails don't match your mailed bills. Weedman had several chances to explain the process. 1. During the cancelation call. -Account was canceled but could not confirm the removal of bogus charges. 2. During the email confirming the removal of the charges. 3. In a regular snail mail statement. I am just glad I never saved my card on file because they would be stealing from my account every month for services they don't deliver! read more

I have called 6 times over the last two weeks to get a quote for reseeding, aeration and to start monthly service (called the call center and local office). I still haven't received a simple phone call to schedule the appointment. So disappointed. Just called two other companies and within a few hours, got a phone call and we have an appointment. Too bad. I shouldn't have to beg a business to call me back or to take my money. Yes. I called the number on your website. UPDATE: three weeks after my first call (out of six) a man called me today to set up a time to stop by. I told him that we have hired another company, he said, "ok - cool" and hung up. :-| read more

After being a very satisfied customer for many years this year i cancelled my service after the majority of my grass was killed by the techs with little to no experience. Weedman has never been able to get rid of the nutsedge and would only treat it if I said something when it was obviously growing all over my yard. They are only interested in selling you other services instead of getting the grass service done correctly. The do not proactively take care of new issues because the techs do not know what they are looking at they just treat by the schedule even if there is a problem that will be made worse by that scheduled treatment. I am so embarrassed by the way my yard looks and may have to re-sod most if not all of my yard. read more

Updated information. Don't even consider this company, in March we prepaid for service (everything listed under "scheduled services" on the portal) through August. 6 weeks later I get a 30-60 day overdue notice. I go on the portal and it shows that they services my yard 3 times in march and a organic soil service in April. None of which were on the list when I prepaid. The "one time" Organic soil service we added in 2022 but did not ask for it in 2023 (Weedman deemed this was a recurring service even though we didn't ask for it for 2023) told us after they supposedly did the service even though my wife and I were home that day and don't remember seeing the techs plus our dogs didn't bark and go nuts like they always do. They are making it very difficult to cancel all services immediately. When we cancelled all future prepaid services, they now they say that we have to dispute to get the $$ back for unrendered services. Another note the company routinely did only part of our lawn when doing the service initially and the techs finally did the job correctly once they had to wear a body camera. Every service they will call trying to sell you more services that they act like are required for adequate yard appeal. read more

This is a follow up to my earlier post: If I could offer anything positive, I certainly would. But my experience with this company has been terrible. Upon my first post, all I received was a call from the office that they would do better and a request to remove the earlier post since they called me acknowledging the problem. (I would not remove the post unless they actually did improve their service.) Months later, with only one ineffective re-treatment after NUMEROUS requests, my weeds are as healthy as they have ever been. Further, they began providing services that I did not request and attempting to charge me for it. When I called again to cancel, they refused to process my request until I became quite stern with them. (And then they acted as if they were doing me a favor.) We have been using them for 2 or so years. Our lawn looks beautiful. They come out when they say they will be there. If you have any questions you can ask them. If you have stubborn weeds, call and they will do extra applications at no extra cost. Highly recommend them. read more

Be careful who you trust. Weed Man promised positive results on our yard or we would receive money back. 6 months later our yard looks worse and the Manager Ryan, who was extremely rude, said "no one would have promised you grass because of the run off from other yards". We had grass before we signed up with Weed Man and paid hundreds of dollars. Now we have no grass and they are refusing to refund what they promised. They also buy positive customer reviews. When you sign up they ask you to leave reviews with Facebook, Yelp and Google and they take off $10 from what you pay them. Should have known, buying positive reviews is never good. read more

Worst scam company ever. Once you start service with them they will not cancel their service. They threaten that you are under an agreement that cannot be stopped and if you have been allowing them to charge your credit card, good luck in stopping the charges. They constantly call and harass you to upsell services that you do not need or want. You cannot cancel their harassing calls or service without a confrontation that you do not need and should not have to go through with a reputable company. read more

If I could have giving Weed Man zero stars I would have. I had been using them since Oct, 2018 when my grass started to come back this spring it was looking okay by late May 2019 Weed Man came out to spray and killed most of my grass in my front and back. I called them they sent out a manager to look at my yard he gave me a free treatment to help my grass it did help some until Weed Man came back in June 2019 to spray again same thing they killed off most of my grass in the back and front. Now they are trying to charge me $51.00 for killing my grass for the 2nd time. Weed Man is a bad company find someone else. read more

I signed up for weed man towards the end of last year. They came out twice and then I would get automated calls stating that I was on the schedule for the next day but no one would ever show. I finally called in when the weed really began to grow. They confirmed that they would send someone out as soon as possible. A month later and nothing. I began getting calls everyday stating on was on the schedule again for the next business day but still no one showed. I just called to cancel my service, after speaking with a rep for 10 minutes she transferred me to the retention department which you have to speak with before the account can be cancelled. During transferring me the phone rang twice and then disconnected. I called right back and got the automated message that the office is now closed. This company is poorly run, terrible service, and customer service. I would not recommend Weed Man even if it's your last option. read more

would not recommend at all!!! Had more weeds then ever after using them for over a year. Watched then literally run thru our back and front yard the last 3 times they serviced doing a half ass job. No wonder we have weeds they never even sprayed the whole yard . Watched them not do our back yard several time or only do half of it. They were so fast in and out and speed off in truck so loud. When I called to cancel service lady started off nice but became rude and told me not to forget to pay my bill then hung up!!! Glad I canceled now I know they also have crappy customer service. I had to call and request a reapplication due to weeds growing. Whenever I call, the staff are always nice and send someone out to reapply.

I believe that my grass looks better than without Weed Man, but it is a bit expensive. The costs can creep up on you.
