Not bad. You get what you pay for. The prices here are more affordable than a luxury salon, and I was willing to take the risk to get my dead ends trimmed. My hair cutter was very friendly and did an okay job. My hair wasn't shampooed but rather sprayed with a water bottle. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're very, very particular about every strand because my cut came out slightly choppy, but not noticeable enough to a common observer. read more

I'm 74 years old and have been coming to Clarissa for a few years and was always very happy. That is why this is so hard to understand. I asked her to make my hair to be as close as possible to my 3 inch roots, (salt and pepper, mostly salt). The photos below show 1st 2 what I asked for, next 1 what I got the 1st time and then 2 of what I finally ended up with. Each time they tried to convince me it looked great. I was charged $350 for this. OUCH!!! I asked for my money back so I could go somewhere else to try and get this fixed because I didn't trust her to do anything else for fear my hair would be too damaged. She had already stripped my hair twice. She even tried to blame it on my hair and then she had the nerve to say she didn't change you for the second time. My daughter actually had to try and get my money back. She was only able to get half, $175, which is what she said it should have only cost in the first place. I am very very sad about my hair but even sadder about how I was treated!!! I hope no one ever has to experience anything like this. I wish I could give minus stars!!! read more

Went in for a men's haircut and was seen by Carol. She did a great job blending my hair and did exactly what I wanted. The shop is very clean and the people who work there are very friendly as well. I would love to try them. I went to walk in make an appointment. Sign on door says no animals= no service dogs. Which are trained to lay aside and wait or sit with a person watching. As I have five daughter three sisters and three of us has three service dogs for different reasons. No service Dogs= no money from this family. Must people post no pets but service dogs welcome. I showed my stylist a photo and explained my goal of keeping one length after 3 years of growing out bangs. Cut was great but needed sculpting. She kept sculpting until I ended up with long bangs down to my nose that won't even stay behind ear. NOT one length. Choppy instead of smooth. I've seen this stylist for 4 years so it's not like she was unaware of evolution of hair. I will miss her. I started out with hair 3 inches longer all one length and now I have to grow out bangs again that start at crown. Unbelievable that I gave 2 stars. read more

I am so happy that we walked into Eric & Corys shop this past year and got to meet the man who would be doing all my son's future haircuts(Eric). To say I'm picky would be an understatement. For the first 12 years of my son's life he got his haircut from one person, but life happens and it was time for a change. There are alot of fancy hair places out there and some cheap ones and then there is Tucson Hair Co., these folks are friendly and personable and anybody who can get a teenager to open up and talk while in the chair, is alright by me. I came in on Saturday absolutely sure I wanted platinum hair. Sheila did an amazing job and they even stayed open late to finish my hair. It turns out it really was not what I wanted and I wanted it gone the next day. Unfortunately they are closed on Sundays and I had to go to another salon to add color back to my hair but that is not their fault. All the staff was friendly, worked as a team and professional. Also, the Olaplex treatment they added kept my hair healthy through this damaging process. I would highly recommend this place!!! read more

Love Cory and Holly. I started with Cory when they first opened their shop on Broadway and Houghton Road. Was disappointed when I went to get a haircut and the shop was closed, but found out they had moved to their currently location. Both stylists always listen to my concerns as I have really weird hair and take the time to ensure I am happy with it before leaving the shop. I have learned to call ahead and make an appointment though as they are both always so busy. I have read the "bad" reviews and am really surprised by them. I have always been treated as a loyal customer. I have seen service dogs in the shop (they have had their vests on) and maybe with the other bad review their was an emergency situation that forced only one stylist on duty (it does happen). I would ask those 2 "bad" reviewers to try again. read more
