Warby Parker is where I found excellence in knowledge, professionalism, and friendless. Everyone at the office that day was great!!!! Liam, Megan, and my favorite chick (but I've completely forgotten her name and sincerely apologize) she was absolutely amazing and outside of there, I could see myself being friends with her :) My visit was 3/31/26 at 3:45, as well as my Doctor she was fantastic and very thorough!! The glasses and contacts are reasonably priced with many options to select!! You will not be disappointed with using Warby Parker for all your eye care needs.

While this is not what I was hoping for this is the best possible solution they are legally able to offer and for that I am thankful! Like I said before Warby Parker has been great to me and one hiccup wont ruin the entire process but this was only because they reached out and didn't let it sit. Still a location learning using new technology but overall happy with the solution. If you plan on using this store just be clear with your expectations and have everything documented so word can be shared with clarity.

Added plus, it had a nice front display (not cheap looking like Party City). The customer service was excellent- when we walked in they helped us find what we needed (a giant bow) immediately. When we went to find balloons, James (one of the staff), helped me find the right ones. He also saved us from deflated balloons. We went the store the day before the party and he asked us when the party was because certain balloons only last 24 hours; it's a good thing he checked because we ended up needing to pick up the balloons the next day otherwise they would've deflated before the event! I was incredibly impressed with how thorough he was. He kept helping my group- it's obvious he's going above and beyond at his job. The other woman working was also lovely- really all the staff! The store also had a great selection of items and good hours- great find!!!! SKIP PARTY CITY AND GO TO THIS PLACE!

    I'm not coming back because of your lack of customer service (see the other one star reviews)…read more I came in last month to have a portrait framed. No escalator running up, only elevator, which was occupied. This is a problem for your handicapped customers. When I returned today the up escalator still wasn't working - so this is apparently "regular" service. YOu, Michael's, chose to be on the second floor in this mall. So YOU, Michael's need to keep your escalators running. When I came in six weeks ago, the service at your custom framing desk could NOT have been less helpful. Two men behind the counter were arguing (see other one-star post about custom framing employees being angry at each other). I stood waiting while they finished their spat and finally noticed me (invisible woman over 60 problem?). The young male who "attended me" was clearly new and didn't have a clue what was going on. He told me that frames the size I wanted could only be had custom. I told him he was wrong, that they could be ordered online - from Michael's. He didn't get it. I explained again that MICHAEL'S had it in stock online. He didn't get it. So I unnecessary ordered a "custom" frame I could have ordered online just to get the matter done. I never got a call back telling me the item was done so had to call myself. The explanation was a flood in the store, etc. No apology. So I returned to pick up today. First was the ongoing escalator problem. Second was in absentia workers. I went up and down the paper aisle looking for Japanese rice paper. Never found it. Not one person was available to help me find it. Two employees were dithering at the front desk. Went to custom framing. No one is there but a senior citizen couple. After about four minutes I asked them if there was someone working. They said they thought so but she had disappeared in the back. We waited longer. I finally hit the button for nonattendance which said "buzz here we will happily assist you". No one happily assisted us. The woman finally showed up. She couldn't help the senior citizen couple. They had nine small frames in front of them. They asked for a bag. She said she didn't have one (but didn't try to get one, either, or call the front) and left these poor people stuffing nine frames in their pockets. Unbelievable. My turn wasn't much better. She clearly doesn't want to work. At one point she muttered something and I said "were you addressing me? I can't hear you" and she had telling me to sign a receipt. She opened both orders (apparently upon instruction) without a comment so you learn you have to say "that's fine" I even had to ask if I owed Michael's anything. I didn't. I then asked her where Michael's might have rice paper. She said she "didn't know - it's out there if we carry it". Didn't offer to call the front desk. So I left (two employees at front desk were still on their phones) and checked - yes, Michael's does carry rice paper for $25.00++. I went on Amazon and ordered it for $3.99. This is why your store is failing.

I had already visited other MyEyeDr offices to shop and compare, as I was looking to get a backup pair of prescription sunglasses. I found most of the other offices far more customer-friendly than this one. With the exception of Avory, who was most impressive in her courtesy, professionalism and superb customer service skills, I found the front staff lacking in their approach to customer service. Unfortunately, I did not have an opportunity to work with Avory. However, I continually observed her performance with other customers while I was working with Rashonda. Avory genuinely seemed happy to be working there and always verbally welcomed guests as they entered the office. Other staff appeared to have a perfunctory "just going through the motions" attitude about their work. I am rating this office three stars, rather than only two stars, because everyone seemed to be technically competent in their trade. Thus, if you care only about technical proficiency, then this office is fine. But if you're like me and you want not only technical competence from your eye doctor experience, but a friendly, engaging interaction where you feel welcomed and glad you came, then I don't think the Pantops (Jefferson Parkwy) office is your best option. If you are lucky to work with Avory, then you should walk away feeling very pleased with your experience. Otherwise, with the other front staff, I recommend looking elsewhere. I certainly plan to choose another MyEyeDr office after I pick up my current pair of sunglasses soon! Thank you, Avory, for setting a good role-modeling example for your colleagues.
