We chose this particular location because of the location and I wanted to see if this would be something I could add into my weekly routine and possibly get a membership. My in-laws who are long time members in Houston for the last 9 years have talked about it and really advocated for it being the best workout gym for the longest time, so we jumped on it and signed up. Unfortunately, my father in-law's app was not able to work but he was able to book my mother-in law on her app. As a family who has a background in hospitality, sales, and healthcare and have been in these different fields for many years, we were very disappointed with our first 5 minutes of interaction. We understand the type of attitude and people who can keep a business successful and will drive clients back into the studio. When we first entered into the building and told the front desk it was my husband and I's first time ever in an f45 studio, the front desk associate was not welcoming whatsoever. She was abrupt and had a very dry personality. We filled out our waivers and waited for my father in-law to come in from parking the car. My father in-law explained the situation and she was not empathetic or accommodating. I do get it rules are rules. It was an app issue. However, it could have been handled differently. It was the combination of her attitude and not being able to be empathic which was our biggest disappointment. An alternative way that could have been addressed would be like "I am sorry you went through that. Unfortunately, it was an app issue and we do have a policy here. Here is a solution..." We would have been like okay we get it. Things happen. Lastly, you are the first person, a client sees when they enter your business. You have to act like you want our business. I am not the type to write reviews to bring down someone's business, but it was such a big disappointment.

First class was free and i was so impressed I signed up. This gym i spacious and has all the equipment you need to get the job done. Your favorite fitness influencers work out here but it's still the gym where nobody what your gym level is you're going to fit in. My favorite part of the gym is how focused and intentional they are about your form and performing movements without pain or injury. The energy in this gym is contagious and again whatever your fitness level in you're going to find your niche. To top it off they have their own cafe with some of the best shakes I've ever had. This class pushed me like no class has ever pushed me before. I was pushed to my limits during this class. In less than an hour, I burned upwards of 500 calories. The staff was super nice here and they were motivating throughout the entirety of the class. I love how there are TVs in here that show how to do the specific workout at your designated station. The owner, Dan Owens, instructs these classes often and will absolutely crush your upper and lower body in the best possible way. He is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure every person in the room knows what to do and helps with form if necessary and welcomed. Another great perk is access to the locker rooms and saunas. I feel the entire facility is kept clean and organized. I love the big windows everywhere which allow for a ton of natural light to come inside. I also enjoy using the indoor/outdoor green space on the bottom floor which has a garage door that can open and close depending on the weather. Very nice during Spring, Summer and early Fall. I never feel like I have to wait for equipment to free up, and they do offer complimentary towels at the front desk upon check-in. This athletic club is on ClassPass and I typically just purchase gym time using a couple credits or I sign up for the circuit or conditioning classes.

The lower level of the facility is a CrossFit gym. The yoga session was held on the 2nd level where other fitness classes also take place during the week. Puppy yoga is hosted on the weekend and it fills up fast. Yoga mats are provided and of course play time with pups during and after the 45min yoga class. The smell of incense permeates the air in the bright, earthy loft while you zen out and snuggle with a pup. I'd recommend the experience a hundred times over even though I was just assisting with the pups that day. I'm already looking to book a class with a friend in the next few weeks!
