How does a grocery store not have mint leaves? That's what I came to this store looking for. I've never been to a Weis market. BUT, they did have peanut butter cookies!!! These days its a hunt to find fresh baked peanut butter cookies in the grocery store. I don't get it. I did notice salmon laid out in a refrigerator type container near the front door. It looked like it could have used more ice. I myself would not have purchased that salmon. BUT, they did have mint! Mission success. While I was there, and hungry, I was hoping they had one of those salad bars. They did not so, scratch that idea. But I got what I came for AND peanut butter cookies! Just went to make a money order and went behind a lady that was near the Western Union. After the lady in front was taken cared of, the store manager or supervisor ignored me, steady talking to another associate and taking items off the counter. I then step up and ask is this line still open and she proceeded to tell me with an attitude there's only one line. The manager/supervisor then walks off with a face of annoyance and waits around to see if I say anything. I will say this, the attitude and unprofessional behavior needs to stop. Without customers, there is no you as an associate so treat people how you would like to be treated and for god sakes, acknowledge and help your customers without making it seem like our presence kills you. The lack of self awareness and people skills of these associates and managers is unbelievably bad! read more

My favorite grocery store. I think the prices are good and the place is CLEAN. I was here to return an Amazon package which can only be done at certain ones. As this was the Sunday BEFORE CHRISTMAS there were only SELF-SERVICE Lanes OPENED and we had a shopping trip for the HOLIDAY. The line took us at least 1/2 hour (30 minutes) to wait in, people were lined up down the cereal isle. Others were upset enough to leave. Someone was shouting at us from behind to check out faster because we had an entire cart full and the service checkout kept telling us to put items into the bag stand and then take them out then put them back- it was too confusing and stressful and we cried in the car afterward. But at least JOHN at the Customer Service Desk was able to finally help us because there was a problem with a price. We had our entire order suspended and then we had to take an item off of it. And he helped with that and went and got the correct sale item Also, the flowers we came in for were dead in buckets on the ground. read more

Instead of running to my usual local grocery I stopped here to grab a few items for breakfast. Fresh fruits and vegetables were plentiful. The bakery area had a really good variety of options available to grab and go. Couldn't find any brioche bread and also was unable to find any uncured turkey bacon. I had some help looking for the items from a friendly employee but these things were not in stock. They do offer self check out and had cashiers working as well. Had a really good frozen seafood section though. I picked up some coconut shrimp and mussels while I was there. read more

When I first moved into the area I found this store to be very poorly run. They must have made a management change. It is a nice, not great, but nice place to pick up groceries. It can be crowded, but they are making an effort to provide a quick checkout. They have most staples. The produce department is a little risky. Check freshness before you buy. read more

Pretty much a standard grocery shopping experience. They have a sanitizing station set up with wipes so you can clean your cart before you begin your grocery shopping. I arrived on a Monday morning and there was no crowd which was nice. They had just about everything that I was looking for in stock. I like the fact that they have a self checkout lane now. Love me to get in and out in under 30 minutes before a average grocery shopping trip. Their prices are competitive. They have a lot of in store offers that can save you a lot of you buy in bulk. You have to be very careful to read the sales tag and make sure you buy the allotted amount of the item. If you do not think you will be paying the full price and not get the discount. Shelves were well stocked and the store was clean. It's a store that's in the area so when I am out running errands if I need to stop and I would not be opposed to shopping here. But it will not be my first choice read more

Always trash on the property, especially in the rear and sides of building. Has been a full bag of trash on the side of the building, which smells, for over two weeks. Cashiers often don't greet with a hello or smile. read more

So I made the mistake of returning and not much has changed. Weis, please just close down. You are wasting good retail space. I never find all of my quick, easy items here and I refuse to partially shop here only to have to go to Giant or Wegmans to finish. Your competition has stepped up their game, when will you? Two registers were opened with lines when I entered around 11:00 am today. First impulse was to leave and go to Giant. Decided to pick up the items I needed. Give them a chance. Got to register, in line for 10 minutes! Cashier had difficulty with a coupon purchase with the customer ahead of me. Both lines had more than three people. Left items... Went to Giant! In and out less than 5 minutes. Need I say more? read more

Cashier was very unpleasant and rude . Acted like I was an inconvenience being in her line. I was to perturbed to sit around waiting for a manager to share my complaint with. Needless to say my family will take our weekly daily run elsewhere. read more

My least favorite store in the community now. It's the closest to where I live but most of the time I would rather go out of the way to Giant or Wegmans. The cashiers don't even acknowledge the customers, they only ring up the products and talk to each other while waiting on you. They are too lazy to even tell your total. Who is training the cashiers? Don't go here. When this market first transitioned from Food Lion to Weis it was still ran properly. Over the last 3 months on 2 separate occasions I have gone inside this market to go to their customer desk to purchase a money order and the cashier on the closet register has yelled customer service is closed this was around 4pm. The second time I went inside of the market there was only 2 employees that I saw upon entering the market 1 of them was freezing outside pushing the carts and the other young lady was the ONLY CASHIER on the register at 7pm. Now if customer service is one of the main functions in running a business how is it closed? Also how/why is it fair for 1 cashier to ring up every customer that is ready to check out or for every customer to have to wait in this 1 line when the market has approximately 8 available registers. I normally would go to Weis if I needed to get a few things to prepare my dinner with as well as utilize the customer service desk when it use to be open. When this issue first happened I called the customer service number and the lady asked me if I had a wise club card and wanted my phone number to get back to me about the situation which never happened. Needless to say this market is within walking distance from my home and I no longer patronize this business. I go to Wegmans or Giant. read more

Before transitioning from Food Lion to Weis, I had high hopes that even if the prices remained the same, the quality of service would improve. Instead, the prices have gone up and the service has gone even further down. Unless it's cheaper here (meat, really), drive the extra five minutes to Wegmans. There are a few friendly checkers here, but otherwise, staff pretends you don't exist. read more
