This place is so authentic! We were able to arrange a tour by the owner, Patrick, for our small group (in town for a wedding). Not only are the chocolates incredible, but the lunch items were also very good. I had a Pilgrim sandwich (turkey, of course)... so tasty! I also had a wonderful Peanut Butter latte (1/2 sweet), which was soooo good!! We learned so much from the owner about the chocolate making process!!! If you can arrange for a tour, it is worth it! Oh, one more thing, the owner really is a community minded person! A must-see if you are in the area (oh, and don't forget to buy yourself some chocolates)! read more

I go in here regularly for their soup. So far I have about five favorites. I try not to miss their Zuppa Toscano. And then there's caramel chocolate Grizzly Paws--oh yum! I can't stay away from them. But then there's the small wrapped chocolate mints - the white chocolate ones are so amazing! The dark chocolate are really good too. All the rest of them taste good too but those two are my favorites. I sent them to a friend for Christmas. She couldn't believe how good they were! You can't really sit down in this store and get something that's not good. But then there's Patrick. And of course Chelsea. Both of them are my favorites. Recently I had a slight problem with an order, and Patrick compensated me in a way I never imagined he would. He was such a great guy! He tries really hard to make the customers happy! And he does! If you get a chance to go in there, tell Patrick "Kay said hi." You'll be happy that you went in there. Don't hesitate for a minute! I'm changing my review. The first time I took my mom here, we were ignored until we finally left. The management contacted me to aplihize and said they were training new employees (it was beginning of summer and they were all HS age kids, so i believe it). They graciously invited us back for another try. We returned last week and the staff was attentive and I was able to finally show my mom how amazing this iconic Candy really is. I found the chocolate to have a funny taste. The candies were kinda misshapen and the proportions of filling to chocolate were off. The white chocolate peanut butter cup was inedible. The fudge was good. I guess I'm just used to a better quality coming from a candy shop. Sorry. read more

We stopped by here at 9:30 this morning to pick up sandwiches for our trip to Mineral City. They recommended that we check out the candies while our sandwiches were being made. Staff was super friendly! Well we made it to Mineral City and had the best picnic! Sandwiches were perfect and the chocolates were wonderful! We can hardly wait until we visit Weiser again!! The candy is out of this world they have delicious chocolate! The best chicken salad croissant sandwich I've ever had. Took my whole family in while they were visiting from Texas everybody got something different and everybody enjoyed it so much. Best place in Weiser to sit and chat with friends and family. We have been getting candy from here for years. Their variety of boxes is wonderful. Don't miss the mint velvet bites. For five stars, a place had better be over the moon. Beyond reproach and just plain damned happy. We rolled through coming home from Spring Training. Had gotten sick of interstates and headed for two-lane roads and following random signs to interesting stuff. So this spot was not what we expected, and that makes it even better. Came in looking for a pastry or some snack-ish thing. Stopped at the chocolate counter and never made it past that. There were haystacks and turtles and peanut butter cups, all highly nummy. Then there are the truffles. All cheerfully wrapped in different color foil and hiding something happy. I fell for the Amaretto truffle. When I bit into one, the angels sang and the sun came out. Hubby requested a bite and I broke into Gollum, blathering about "my precioussssss". Went back and bought more for the long road back to Washington. For some reason, I don't think the locals take kindly to me and my family coming in for lunch on our way to McCall but I don't give a damn. The sandwiches are too good to let a couple stink eyes get in the way. This is a small town near the Oregon border and I think they want to keep it free of intruders. One lady was nice, but that is because I was holding an adorable baby that nobody can resist. I don't even know if you pronounce this town "Weezer" or "Wizer" so rather than insulting the fine people who call this place home, how about I tell you about a sandwich. The Turkey Cordon Bleu is deli turkey, ham, lettuce, tomatoes, sprouts, and swiss warmed up and oh so good. Very flavorful. Served with Lay's. They also toss a pickle in on the side which I immediately toss to my wife. Now, this being a candy shop as well as purveyors of fine sandwiches, you will want to select a couple melt-in-your-mouth chocolates. The kids meals come with a couple chocolate covered graham crackers which is nice. read more
