I'm very grateful to have found Dr. Sweeney. After a serious neck injury, I could no longer get manual adjustments to my neck. I used to go to another chiropractor who did a great job, but after the injury I could not get adjustments from him anymore. Dr. Sweeney was able to identify the problem right away with very specific x rays of my atlas. It turned out my atlas was rotated AND tilted, which made sense why I couldn't get my neck cracked anymore- it would just get jammed. With the upper cervical adjustments along with activator, he has corrected the problem over time. I feel way less pain and am making fast progress to full healing. I was in so much pain before, it was affecting my concentration. Now I am able to concentrate on my work and not think about pain. Also, it has been a cumulative effect. Since Dr. Sweeney does corrective work, you actually get better over time, whereas many other chiropractors just help you to get out of pain that day, but then it comes back the next day. I highly recommend Dr. Sweeney and send everyone I know to him- even elderly patients can safely go and not worry about the dangers of regular chiropractic adjustments. I was involved in a car accident in San Antonio, TX on Oct 18 My destination was to attend a seminar up in Austin,TX on Oct 20. Why this site well I had a Nucca experienced doc once a few yrs back help me greatly with much neck and back trouble. I called the busy office of Doctor Scott Sweeney On the west side of Austin. I was fortunate to talk with him thanks to the assistant up front. I was last minute on the 19th a Friday and was squeezed in and truly very lucky to have seen such an experienced doctor. The adjustment you can see on youtube videos no cracking or popping very light and very accurate. I can say I walked out 100 times better than from when I went in. I can truly say some people may think they are saving by going to a inexpensive doctor offering a Groupon deal or The Joint whom doesn't do X-rays. I had chronic pain in my back and neck for years. My hips were misaligned and targeting the areas of pain was only a temporary fix to the underlying problem.
