Short version: These guys were very knowledgeable, very helpful, and quick to respond. We had a…read moretough situation and they were up for the challenge. We love the way our hardwood floors look. They are worth the wait (booked 2-3 months out) Long version: We had water damage in our kitchen. We needed the damaged floor replaced and the rest of the first floor sanded and stained to match. No easy task since our floor was 17 years old. After they sanded, stained, and sealed the floor, we realized that the original builder (17 years ago) put a 2 foot by 10 foot strip of pink looking red oak in the middle of the white oak floorboards in the living room. This was imposible to see because of the tinted stain that was put on the floor to cover up the fact that the wood didn't match. Jon, our sales guy, came out on a Saturday to talk it over with us. They worked with us to squeeze us into their schedule despite being booked 3 months out. He even came and tore out the red oak himself since all of the other workers were tied up. They took out the red oak and put new white oak back in and now you can't tell at all. Honestly, I thought we were screwed. We did have to pay for them to come back to do it since it wasn't their screw up.

It looks beautiful, the perfect shade of brown and the satin finish is just what we wanted. The workmen were extremely personable and skilled at what they do. Communication with both them and the company was very good. I would highly recommend them.

This company could go bankrupt and they have my money I put over half down and they refused to schedule installation until I paid the whole amount. The flooring was delivered to my home and their reasoning was I'm not serious enough that I need to pay the whole amount. I find that ridiculous . Looking for a new installer .

I'll go ahead and say it. I'm high maintenance. I expect a lot out of the businesses I deal…read morewith--prompt and friendly service, a variety of product choices, knowledgable salespeople, quick delivery of services and a good value for the price. And when something goes wrong (and let's be honest, even with the best of intentions, sometimes things just go wrong), I want it fixed quickly and with the least amount of pain possible. Last August, when my husband and I decided a flooring change was in order for our house, we decided to visit Lumber Liquidators, having zero knowledge of anything about flooring except that it was something we walked on. Our initial experience was flawless. The manager (who we learned was somewhat new to the store) Mike was immediately likable, the kind of guy who you felt like you've known for years, a buddy who just happened to work at a place you needed to buy something. No question was too stupid (how does a floor click together at the time seemed a reasonable question) and he made sure we understood what we were looking at. I think our visit, which we happened to purchase on based on the customer experience alone, lasted about two and a half hours. While there was a limited staff on-site during the off-peak hours we were there, Mike handled us and other customers with a finesse that can't be taught, and everyone in the store seemed all too happy to be pouring over bamboo, hardwood and vinyl samples with someone who genuinely seemed passionate about his store, his work and the product he was selling. We were impressed and skipped happily out of the store, receipt in hand, anxiously awaiting our installation expert measurement appointment. Here's the point in the story where I'll skip the drama details with the at-the-time third party installers. Our experience with that branch was so negative there is no scale accurate enough to depict the amount of incompetence and lack of any sort of customer service. Luckily Lumber Liquidators wised up and has since switched to a really great installer called Hometown Floors (who are nothing short of amazing). My point to mention this is how the store dealt with us during the epic fail of an install. And the point why it's so important, when things go wrong, to have a manager like Mike and a store like the one in Sun Prairie in your corner. Because they make it right. Even though the store and Mike had no control over the install, Mike took our case upon himself personally. He called when he had no reason to, checking up on our progress though honestly his part in our customer journey ended as soon as we walked out of the store. He worked with us when we needed to return materials, called on our behalf and through it all getting us the best deal possible on new materials. He took care of us every step of the way, and our journey from start to finish was over five months. To say he went the extra mile, was an understatement. If it weren't for this caring manager, I have to say I'd probably be on a smear campaign of Lumber Liquidators. Instead, we're loyal customers from here on out as long as Mike is running the store because we know he'll take care of his customers. It's what every manager should aspire to and I'd highly encourage anyone searching for bamboo, hardwood or even vinyl to give Mike and his team a visit. And while you hopefully will have no hiccups in your journey to new floors, even if you do, Mike and his team will take great care of you.

When…read moreservice issues arose, the experience was far below what we expected from a company handling a project of this scope. Our range broke immediately and was unusable for weeks. We also had a separate dishwasher issue that required months of follow-up before ultimately failing and needing faulty parts replaced. Communication throughout the process was slow, inconsistent, and often required repeated effort from us just to receive basic updates. Although repairs were eventually completed and a partial credit was issued, Nonn's declined to provide any further accommodation despite the prolonged disruption and clear service breakdowns. The response from leadership made it clear that customer experience was not a priority once problems occurred. We made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this privately. Based on how these issues were handled, we would not choose to work with Nonn's again and would encourage others to carefully consider their options before committing to a significant project.

They did not tell me they did this all they did was move a calendar we had put up with a magnet over the dent. it took getting a hold of the Waukesha Mgr. to try to get this situation fixed. After three weeks they brought a new refrigerator replacement but it had a bigger dent in it than the original. I finally made a deal with them to make a credit on my credit card and am just keeping the dented original refrigerator. I guess the worst part is that they damaged the fridge and tried to cover it up without telling me. My question is can you trust a company after they do something like this?
