Because of the pain when she walks, she asked if it was OK to walk and he replied "what ever you can tolerate". if it gets any bigger then come in and he will drain the cyst. No offer for anything to ease the pain. Dr Grimsley showed complete disinterest in my wife's complaint, showed no interest in helping. He was rude and aloof with his diagnosis. I asked if his findings would be posted on the patients portal and was told by the staff that it would be. As of today there is nothing. Have set up an appointment with another orthopedic doctor and will never travel to Palm Coast for help from this UF Health Orthopedic Clinic.

My mom and dad were there and stayed in the hospital room for two weeks. Nurses and doctors taking care of them were very helpful, patient, supportive, and welcoming. Only complaint was the food. The chicken was uneatable, not even my dad would eat (He eats anything hahaha). But yes, the food was decent, just not the chicken. The staff did their best to accommodate to my mom and dad's food selections. Overall, my mom and dad were very pleased with the care provided by their team of doctors and nurses. Thank you for taking care of my parents!

I said clearly I did not want to come here because of what I had heard about it. I was brought here anyway, and my husband did not even find out where I was until he called Shands and was told I wasn't a patient there. Once I was admitted, I was ignored every time I asked for help. When I pressed the call button, it was consistently ignored, and the one time staff did respond, instead of helping me, I was injected with Haldol against my will and told I was trying to leave. That was not true. I was only trying to find someone to ask why my husband wasn't there yet, since we had been lied to about where I actually was. I never tried to leave the unit. I did not want to be given anything from this hospital in the first place, especially given the sterile equipment problems this facility has publicly dealt with in the past. The food was inedible the entire time I was there. I could not eat it. Based on my own medical records, I weighed just over 163 pounds going in and 158 pounds three days later when I left. I lost over 5 pounds in 3 days simply because I couldn't eat what was provided, and I have the records to prove it.I asked every single day to speak with someone from Patient Advocacy. No one ever came. This was one of the worst experiences of my life, at a moment when I needed real help and safety, not neglect and force. I will be filing formal complaints with state health regulators and the hospital's accrediting body about everything above. I would not recommend this facility to anyone in crisis. I will be reporting my complaints with the appropriate governing bodies.

In 2018, I had a very successful knee replacement at the Gainesville location, receiving both surgery and Physical Therapy for pre-hab and re-hab training there. Now, in 2026, I am returning for a hip replacement, and am very pleased that TOI has remodeled its intake protocols so that, in my experience, there is little to no waiting (!) -- in the front office, for radiology studies, for face-to-face with providers, and for PT/OT visits. There seems to be a fresh sense of well-being and contentment among the staff and providers, a feeling of smoother and more efficient management of people and time. Additionally, TOI has opened a walk-in Ortho Emergency clinic on site.

They have disabled the ability to make a payment online, but I'm not making a payment until I speak to someone about his account and the discrepancy between the email vs the "no balance due" on file. I even called the New York office number, only to discover that it has been disconnected too!! It is beyond ridiculous that you can't get a response or even get through on the phone. Unreal!!!

This receptionist was rude and nasty and made it seem that he should have known not to come to HER office to bother her. So he went to the new location and told the receptionist there what had just happened. This lady was very nice and apologetic and explained that the doctor had changed offices, the day before, and they were remiss in sending the patients this change of location for their upcoming appointments. So my husband sat down and waited and waited and eventually was led to an exam room where he waited some more. He was there for a full hour and no one even stuck their head in the door to check on him or to apologize for the wait. After an hour, my husband got up, got dressed and walked out of the exam room, past the receptionist, and out the door. No one said one word to him. It was close to a half hour later when he received a phone call from someone in a call center, not even someone who was in the office, and she was calling to reschedule his appointment. She had NO idea that anything had happened or that he had even just been in the office waiting to be seen. She was calling to set up an appointment. My husband then told this whole story and said that he wanted a call from the office manager AND he expected the charge that they made to his credit card for the visit (yes, they charge you BEFORE your visit) to be refunded! He has yet to receive that call from the office manager nor have we received the refund! If we could give NO stars, we would!
