There is so much stuff (both antique items and then just random stuff) that *IF* the owners had hidden cameras you'd never know or be able to spot them (literally in my opinion the house is 1 step away fron being classified as hoarding). Driving to the Center is beyond creepy. It's literally in the Woods in the middle of no where so check your gas light. It's also the last house before a dead end / road closure so seriously check your gas light. I went one day and the older white male (maybe 70s) was walking around without a shirt on checking what appeared to be fire alarms not really sure. I thought it was odd but of course I didn't say anything. Lastly To wash your hands after the procedure instead of having a soap dispenser in the procedure room there was one bar soap which I could only imagine the germs on it. I HAD TO WASH MY HANDS so That actually made me feel less clean than when I got off of the table. I even stopped at a gas station 5 miles up the road to re-wash my hands. That's just not sanitary!!

I had never taken a yoga class before visiting Robin Bell. My initial concerns and fears were addressed. She made me feel comfortable and a part of her "tribe" even before I stepped into her class. From the very first class till now, the experience has always been phenomenal. After a long stressful day, it's calming to practice yoga with her. During this quarantine period, she has been doing virtual classes every day of the week and what a blessing that has been. I'm no longer in the same time zone with her but her classes are at a time that's just right for me. I love that Robin takes the time to address every student's needs. She often reminds her students to "honor your bodies." The flexibility and calmness I feel after each class motivates me to continue in my practice. And her classes are not just for women - men join in too! If you have never taken any yoga class before, give Robin Bell a try. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

She makes sure to care for the experience of her students and encourages everyone to go at their own pace. She pays attention to the little things that just make a difference and the chocolates at the end of class don't hurt either. I feel well, flexible, and at peace and at the end of a long week that is exactly what I need. Check her out! You will absolutely enjoy it!

The hotel is older and claimed to have renovated their rooms, so we were convinced this would be a good spot. Let's start with the pros: There is a bunch of parking our front. The staff was friendly. The restaurant in lobby was good, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Shoutout to the bartender David for his excellent service & kindness. The hotel is located across the street from Woodmore Towncenter, so you have gas stations, restaurants, and shopping nearby. Some room for improvement: The room we were initially given was absolutely horrendous. It looked nothing like the photos we saw when we booked the room. There were lady bugs, stink bugs, and I saw a spider in the room. The furniture was archaic & not what I expected. The TV was hanging off of the frame. I felt myself looking around the room fearful that a bug was going to suspend from the ceiling, fall on me and start crawling. After one night, my husband requested a new room, and thank goodness they gave us a freshly renovated room. The room was still a little dated, but it just felt clean and comfortable. I was able to enjoy my stay after the switch. For context, I posted photos of the new room they gave us. The elevator is extremely slow, so I hope they are working on fixing that. If we didnt have the mishap with the first room, (for the price) I would give our stay a 4/5.

The space is decent and laid out in a way that makes sense. Depending on the time of day, it can get busy, but I'm usually still able to get through my workout without too much waiting. It's a good mix of people too. You've got beginners, regulars, and people who are really serious about training, but it doesn't feel intimidating. Everybody is just focused on their own thing. The gym is kept up pretty well. Not perfect, but clean enough where it's comfortable to work out. Staff is cool. They're there if you need something, but they're not in your face, which I prefer. Only downside is peak hours can get crowded, especially around after work hours, so you might have to adjust your timing if you want a smoother workout. Overall, it's a reliable gym. Nothing over the top, but it has everything you need to stay on track and get results. Definitely a solid choice if you're in the area.

The Crofton Gold's is a part of some small branch of Maryland franchises, and they don't allow you to use the travel pass from your home gym. You will have to pay for a $12.50 day pass to work out here, which sucks. If you try to get the online free trial, they'll tell you that you need to be a Maryland resident. All sorts of random hoops you have to jump through just to work out here, despite already being a Gold's member. The front desk people seemed nice and there's a lot of random machines + free weights. The gym itself is pretty large as well. It's just too bad that they are not reciprocal with the DC Metro Golds.
