    The Classic - Double Patty

I was not a fan of the sauce. It has a sweet taste to it that is overwhelming and it soaks into the bun making the bun kinda have a mushy texture once eaten. I couldn't really taste the onions on the burger either. Might've been due to the SAUCE lol. Beautiful concept and I love the fact that they use beef bacon, But I recommend the sauce on the side. As far as the taste of the burger itself... it wasn't the best from memory and initial taste. It didn't leave that lingering feeling after finishing the meal but more so reluctant to finish. In comparison to other smash burgers joints like Shake shack, they have a WAYYY better tasting smash burger from the crisp char from the smash to still being able to taste the meat and fat of the burger. With smash Akh it was like I could only taste the char with a bit of unseasoned meat. I couldn't even get to the milkshake as for the pricing also was a bit...... interesting to say the least. The service was good though, I ordered ahead and pulled up just in time. Nice cashier

FOOD WAS GOOD! I recommend ordering in advance because it does take a while for your food to be ready. I ordered the Smash Akhs smash burger with one patty and their fries. Everything was fresh and delicious and I really enjoyed their "Smash Akhs" Sauce.

This is a Smash Burger food truck in the parking lot next to the Glendale Fire Station. They have a self-kiosk outside of truck where you place your order and then pay with your phone or card. If you have cash, you just have to let them know at the window. It takes about 10-15mins for them to make your order. On this visit I had the single patty, with some extra "akh sauce" and It was very good. But if you're hungry, don't cheat yourself! Go ahead and get that double patty! I will definitely be doing that next time. In addition to the burger, I also tried their Oreo milkshake - which was decent and compliments the burger, but It wasn't my favorite. Price Range is $9 - $14 for burgers, $5 for fries (small size), $9 for milkshakes and then $5 for drinks.

Very good. Ordered through DoorDash and received still hot. Has a semi sweet flavor to it. Nothing too over powering. Not sure if that's the sauce or bread but overall one of the best smash burgers I've had. I want to try their mocktails next time.

Thoughts: Maybe I hit a food algorithm because I am just getting food recommendations in my feeds, I will take it. Name sounds cool and it is a Halal spot Food: Classic Double Patty- I probably should have asked for the Akh sauce on the side but the burger was great, it had that real fresh authentic taste like if you were making it at home and added in everything you wanted. -8/10 Cookie Butter Shake- And you, and you, You're gonna love meeeeeeeee(shake)-Jennifer H voice. I never thought the McCrack cough I mean McFrappe would have a rival haha, this was delectable -9.5/10 Service: Ordered from a Kiosk, it was cool they had pictures for all the foods which is cool, called out name when order was ready waited maybe 15 minutes -7/10 Ambiance: We outside haha I went like 30 minutes before closing so it was dark outside and was not really looking around after I got food I just booked it home to eat - N/A Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it if you are in the area, just don't come to often when I go because I am not trying to wait long for my cookie butter shake and I want to see if the fries are as good- 8/10

Had a chance to check out Smash Akhs and it was pleasantly surprising. I went for a double burger with onions, no cheese or sauce. The burger was juicy with krispy edges. The saucy was garlicky and tangy. The bun was soft. I found the diced pickles to be a nice touch. Overall, great burger and it hit the spot. Highly recommended.

Best burger and fries I've ever had. I can honesty say there is absolutely no way o will ride past this food truck if I see it. Halal.... Great customer service.... Fresh ingredients. There's nothing wrong. Great technology when ordering so minimum human interaction lol ....fast.

Cheeseburger was the best one I have EVER TASTED! PERIOD!!!!! It was filled some onions and packed with flavor and super juicy. Plus the bun was a soft potato bread. The crinkle fries were typical...nothing extraordinary. It's a food truck by the fire station so no real ambiance except that it looked very clean, and the service was decent. I only waited about 15 minutes (in my car). It's really popular because there were a lot of people there ordering and waiting for their food. That speaks to the quality (top-tier).

Great experience I got the bacon double cheese burgers and the bacon is beef. To wash it down a strawberry cheesecake shake and that was wow.

Probably one of the best smash burgers I've had in the DMV. It's a food truck, so I had to wait about 20 minutes for my food. My favorite thing is...they offer beef bacon for their bacon burgers (I don't eat pork)! So I was able to get the double smash bacon burger. It was delicious. Seasoned, crisp edges, perfectly melted cheese, nice soft potato bun. It's in the parking lot of the Glenn dale firehouse. I'll definitely be back to visit!

The food was absolutely amazing and so filling! Service was great and they take their time preparing the food which is why it's so good! Though a food truck, great location out of the way and a place to sit outside as you wait.

The burgers were delicious seasoned well and truly a smash. The double smash makes more sense to get in my opinion. I last minute wanted an order of fries and they accommodated me with HOT fries they were so good name crunchy. I hate when fries are overly salty and these weren't which was so good. The two ladies were so absolutely sweet I wish their business a lot of success. The parking is perfect and great location

This burger was so good. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and shared some fries. Everything was 10/10. I will need to go back for a biscoff shake when my pants aren't so tight. I ordered and picked up my food at the truck in front of the Glendale fire dept. There is a picnic table where you can eat your food there and plenty of parking. You order via a kiosk in front of the truck and I love that. Plenty of pricing transparency and easy to just place your order. Ambiance is standard for a food truck but being the only truck in the lot keeps it from getting crowded.

Representing 2025, H is for Habit Burger:…read more I've been to the Bowie location a few times in past 3 years. They didn't have the best first impression. They had a free burger event in July 2023 for free charburger, but when I got there a sign saying due to unforseen circumstances they had to cancel. It would've been helpful to have known before driving all the way over there. I emailed the company, and they sent me a free meal to use within the next year. Habit Burger is good if you have an issue, which is rare, they will take care of it. My girlfriend & I went to this location twice, August 2024 & June 2025. In August 2024, we had a long Bowie walk with a Meetup group and were hungry for dinner after. So, we went to nearby Habit Burger. Like In-N-Out Burger, which is only in the West, Habit Burger also started in California. In-N-Out started in Baldwin Park near LA in the late 1940's, and Habit Burger started in Santa Barbara in 1969. I love In-N-Out, but I think Habit is even superior to In-N-Out. They know how to make the charbroiled burgers so well. Fries are delicious too, and they have specialty strawberry lemonade, which is sweet & tasty. We went again to Habit Bowie on Friday, June 27, 2025 since we had to pick up my g/f car from repair in east Annapolis car dealer service. That June 2025 was kind of rough. We had a great trip at the beginning of June to Toronto & Niagara Falls. But starting June 16, I had 3 rounds of chemo, which thankfully was a success, except for the leftover teratoma (at least not viable cancer) which led to major surgery in February. On Friday, 6/20, after first round of chemo, we had a minor trip to eastern shore MD with a small group of friends. My girlfriend drove us since I was leaving from chemo. Although I wasn't feeling great for the trip, that wasn't why that trip wasn't fun. The worst part was our friend brought a total whack job with him who created unnecessary drama (he acknowledged it was a terrible mistake). Now he has a girlfriend, who is nice, so his +1 will definitely be better. The 2nd worst aspect was that Friday, my g/f car broke down in Easton. We had to wait for tow to drive car from Easton to Annapolis dealer (since my g/f car has no dealers on eastern shore, and mechanics in Easton didn't have the right part). And then get a ride from someone coming from more than 30 minutes away already there. Annual trip in June 2026 has got to be better as the June 2025 was 1 in 1000 year confluence of bad events that weekend. The following Friday, June 27, 2025, Habit was running a deal for free double charburger with purchase. One of us purchased the fries (to split) & other purchase the drink, so we both got the free double burger. We enjoyed that for lunch on the way to Annapolis. This was a big meal especially considering I was on chemo, but it was delicious, and I managed alright that day. Once again like in August 2024, I commented to my g/f how this is the best at least casual dining burger out there.

It's a Caribbean spot with a full brunch menu, so yes, the food takes a little time... but that's part of the experience, not a flaw. Given the size of our party, the service held its own. It was steady, attentive, and friendly without feeling rushed--which honestly matched the vibe perfectly. If you come in expecting lightning-fast turnaround, you're in the wrong mindset. Come to enjoy your time. Now let's talk food. I ordered the steak, and it did not disappoint--well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. But the real surprise? That biscuit and butter. Listen... I could've made a whole meal out of that alone. And the mimosas? Nice and light--exactly how our group likes them. I didn't get the oxtail and grits, but I didn't need to. One look across the table told me everything I needed to know--full-on bowl-to-the-chin action. If you know, you know. It wasn't overly crowded for a Sunday, but the weather had randomly dipped back into winter mode after teasing us with 80 degrees, so I'll give them that. Overall, great experience. Good food, solid service, and a vibe that encourages you to sit, sip, and stay awhile. Exactly what brunch should be.

Most of it got pushed to the side because it was too much. Honestly, the only part of my entree that I enjoyed was the chicken critters. That doesn't include the bread and butter because that is always the star of the show here. The customer service was pretty good and fast. We rolled up during happy hour and the bar was already three deep with concert goers, professionals still in their work clothes, and a few locals holding their usual spots. There were no open tables in sight but that didn't matter. We found our corner of the bar fast, and honestly, that ended up being the best seat in the house. A band played soft in the background. Servers moved through in outfits that said upscale, not sports bar. The whole room had that pre-show buzz, dressed up but not stiff. We blended in well. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip on a local's recommendation. It came with warm chips, sour cream, and a house made salsa that quietly stole the entire appetizer. I wanted a bowl of just the salsa. Our server, who clearly knew the menu inside and out, sold us on the smoked salmon, and we added a side of bacon mac and cheese along with the cornbread. The salmon looked right, cooked medium with real smoke on it, but the smoke won the fight against the fish. Mushy inside, more fishy than smoky should allow. The sauce didn't rescue it either. Sautéed spinach on the side needed salt, plain and simple. Then the cornbread and mac and cheese showed up and reminded us why we came. Rich, comforting, with the kind of flavor that makes you forget the salmon happened. When I'm back, I'm ordering both of those twice and calling it a meal. Drinks were the real win. A Saratoga sparkling water kept things clean between bites, and the Peartini was one of the better cocktails I've had in a while, balanced, not too sweet, actually worth the price. The seat beside us turned over twice during the meal, first someone who went to the concert a few days earlier and wanted to talk about it, then someone else who slid in for a quick drink while waiting on their table. Both ended up in easy conversation with us, no forcing it. That's the part I keep thinking about, not the salmon. Copper Canyon got the room right, the drinks, the starters, the easy conversation with strangers. Some nights the food is the headline. This one, it was the people and the vibes, making it a great after-work or pregame pitstop, and that's always worth gathering for.
