Couldn't find anyone who was willing to give my near 200 lb Great Dane a bath! We found Mike and he not only gave him the bath he sent video and my pup LOVED the warm water. We recommend Well Mannered Bullies for all of your canine needs! Thanks Mike Seamus loves every bit oh and he smells sooo good!

    Trainer BS excuse.

I would recommend this trainer to people that like their dogs mistreated and not honor all services talked about. I understood my dog would be crate trained but when the dog doesn't like the crate and it's evident it's hurting itself (two marks besides nose) you DO NOT ignore and continue letting the dog harm herself. You call the owner and let them know what is going on. She also has noticeable rashes on her legs, around eyes, ringworm, dog mites/parasites, and was told nothing about them as well. When she was handed to me this morning to keep her for weekend his son came out not him. C'mom man! This place was recommended to me but I WISHED I would have Yelp before dropping her off but gave him the benefit of the doubt. Mike was so polite at first and sold so much at drop off but after he had the money, 95% was BS. He was so rude when I as a customer asked or wanted. I payed this person $1,500 to teach my dog "No" and "Relax" (tried bec she ignores commands now). I'm glad for others that got great service and their goals were met. I honestly think this person has issues with woman. My pup has two weeks left of training and there's no way I'm taking her back. It's evident this man ONLY CARES ABOUT THE MONEY AND NOT OUR PETS. POS needs training himself.

Unfortunately this trainer didn't work out for my dog came home twice to go straight to vet for injuries. When I asked Coach Mike he would just come up with different excuses, could never give me a straight up answer. So not only my dog didn't learn anything, but I was out of $1,500 for training plus vet bills.

Mike has been GREAT with our dogs! He is training our 2 year old Rottweiler. We got the board and training packet/service for a total of 5 weeks. My rott is sweet and loves to play but because he's so big, he needed serious training. Before we took him to Mike, I wasn't able to walk him. AT ALL. I'm 5'0 and he's over 100 lbs. He would pull on his leash, jump on me and others, and didn't follow simple commands (besides "sit"). After 2-3 weeks with Mike, I noticed a HUGE difference! He didn't jump on me (or others) when I visited him. I was able to walk with him by my side without him pulling. He listened to commands (relax) throughout our walk and was so gentle around my toddler. He didn't bark at other dogs or people riding bikes. It's like I had a whole new dog. Rufus is such a good boy now and it's all thanks to Mike! The 5 weeks were up and we got an additional 5 weeks for my rott and included our other family dog Bubba (10 year old pitbull). Our dogs were always around each other without any problems but on super bowl Sunday conflict occurred and our dogs fought. It was really bad and they were both very upset. Our rott attempted to fight the pitbull again which lead us to taking him to Mike. He's been so great with our rottweiler so we decided to take our pitbull in hopes that he could help resolve their issues and get along again. It's been about 2-3 weeks since we've had both dogs with Mike and they're slowly but surely getting along. I HIGLY recommend Mike. He's an excellent trainer. Here's a pic of our dogs for reference :)

First day visiting Charlie and taking her on a walk near Coach Mike's house

Heard about this trainer from my family friend who took both of her dogs tho Mike. My dog is a maltipoo who is very hyper who could not walk on a leash and had severe separation anxiety. I sent her for the 5 week program and when I came back for my weekly visits she seemed significantly different! She was much more calm and was great at walking on a leash. Coach Mike shared with me what she was learning and the commands he taught her and how to walk her properly so that she stays by my side and doesn't pull on the leash. A few times I even took her home for the night to practice what she learned in her own space and I felt like I had a whole new dog. She wasn't following at my heels every step I took and instead would take herself to her bed and just stay there! She didn't cry when I went to the bathroom and didn't bring her or cry when I left the house anymore! Since then I still take her to Mike for a few weeks at a time to enforce more training since she isn't a naturally smart breed, but it really helps having Mike to help me out and continuing to care for her as if she is his dog.

Mike sending video of our dog being "so aggressive" yet she's just barking. Also where he called us fat!

DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN WITH YOUR DOG!!! When we first met Mike for a consultation he seemed like an honest man. We signed up for the "service dog" training 10 week program. By the 5th week he had been paid in full. We had taken our dog home for treatment as she got ringworm. When we took her back to complete her course, Mike called the next day and said he's unable to help us as she was aggressive. We were confused as she never had any issues before. We went to pick up our dog and take her home, I followed up with Mike for a refund since we had 4 1/2 weeks of training left. He responded with, "a refund for what? Haha not my fault your dog is out of control." I was baffled, he is the DOG trainer and if he couldn't do his job, why should we eat the costs? We had a discussion and he agreed instead of the refund he would continue training her. Two days passed by and he texted my boyfriend asking him to come alone. That night my boyfriend went and Mike said our dog was hopeless and needed to leave by the end of the week. He also said that he heard I was talking crap about him. The next day we go to pick up our dog, I wait in the car because I don't want drama. Mike then proceeds to tell my boyfriend how I'm"badmouthing" him all over corona (mind you, we just moved here in June so we don't know anyone) I get out of the car to see what the issue is. Mike asks for permission from my boyfriend to speak to me. I then proceed to inform him that I'm a grown woman and we can discuss the issue like adults. He states, "this is why women shouldn't be involved because it's just emotions" I laugh at his ignorance. I proceed with, "clearly you're the one with emotions because you're being unprofessional talking about me when we both are your clients." We ask him to please get our dog so we can leave and he says, "get your own dog" we go to grab her and she doesn't have a color or leash. Upon us leaving Mike follows up with a text including a video of him hitting/kicking our dogs kennel. Our dog was barking in the video and he was saying, "look how aggressive your dog is." Whose dog wouldn't be? Someone violating the only space they have while at his facility. I tell him to leave us alone since what was done, was done. He texts us saying, "overeating is what fat people do." Overall he's very unprofessional. He doesn't keep the dogs in a safe environment. His training includes the use of shock collars without telling the owners before hand. Your dog will be kenneled and neglected a good portion of the day as he is constantly running around and never home.

Sitting on the grass with nobody holding the leash.

We took our 7 month old Great Dane to Coach Mike because he was not walking at all on the leash and was generally not listening to our directions. After six weeks of training, he came home walking excellently on the leash and had new commands he actually listens to. We really value Coach Mike's methods and look forward to supplementary training in the future.

This is a bit long, but stick with me, it's worth the read. :)…read more I want to share this because I know how overwhelming life with dogs can feel when things spiral out of control, and because truly great dog trainers are rare. Last year, I lost my dog Chloe. I had her for 15 years, and losing her completely broke my heart. Afterward, I adopted Lily, a multipoo who had never been out of a cage. She came from a puppy mill and was deeply traumatized. She shook constantly, wouldn't come to me, wouldn't let me touch her, and had severe anxiety. She was peeing and pooping in the house nonstop. I tried everything I knew. I tried love, patience, reassurance. Nothing worked. I was exhausted and completely at a loss. Then life threw me another curveball. A client of mine broke her hip after tripping over her dog and had to move into assisted living. I took in her one-year-old Schipperke named Daisy. If you aren't familiar with this breed, 'the little black devil.' Daisy is the sweetest, smartest dog in the world and also an absolute mischievous chainsaw in a tiny body. Endless energy, barking at people and dogs, running through the house nonstop, biting my neighbor on the ankle and even the gardener, and bullying Lily relentlessly. My house turned into chaos overnight. On top of that, I still had my 13-year-old dog Rocky, who is basically the best-behaved dog on the planet and thankfully not part of the problem. I didn't know what to do anymore. That's when I called Jennifer. Jen took Daisy for a two-week board-and-train, and when Daisy came home, she was a completely different dog. Not perfect, but honestly a million times better. She sleeps in a crate now, no longer bullies Lily, listens extremely well, and while she still barks, it's nothing like before. We're still working on it with Jen, but the transformation was incredible. After that, I sent Lily to Jen. What happened next honestly felt like a miracle. Lily no longer pees or poops in the house. She sleeps in a crate. She comes when I call her. She's happy. She plays. She acts like a dog now, not a scared abuse victim. She still has moments of anxiety and fear, but she is doing a million times better, and the difference is night and day. Jen didn't just train my dogs. She gave them structure, confidence, and safety. She gave me peace in my own home again. She understands dogs on a level that is rare, especially dogs with trauma, anxiety, and behavioral challenges. If you are struggling, overwhelmed, or don't know what else to do, I cannot recommend Jen enough. She is patient, intuitive, honest, and incredibly skilled. She truly changed our lives.

At the time I hired this company for training, Bogey was 16 months old. I'm not expecting Bogey to be Lassie or anything close, and I'm not blaming the trainer or any of his employees for Bogey's behavior.  A little bit of background on Bogey. He was traumatized by someone when he was 6 months old while at a doggie day care.  Bogey and my son-in-law, who my dog used to get along great with, changed after the incident at the day care. My daughter and son-in-law were there to watch the presentation for the training company. The trainer saw Bogey's reaction to my son-in-law, obvious signs of fear and apprehension, and convinced us he could change Bogey's behavior. My daughter and I signed up with this company, feeling assured the trainer could change this behavior in Bogey. It was a $2700 investment combined. Due to Bogey's reaction to my son-in-law, my main concern was to get help in changing this behavior and stressed this concern with the trainer. Unfortunately the sessions seem to only focus on sitting, staying and placing. Honestly, I became frustrated with them only "training" me on how to teach Bogey how to sit, stay etc and NEVER addressing the reason I hired them. This is what caused me to quit going to there "group lessons". I felt it was truly a waste of my time and apparently not a concern of their's either, having paid $2700 for a lifetime of training. In addition, no effort has been made on their part to reach out to me to find out why I quit going. Now that I am living with my daughter and her family,  Bogey is traumatized throughout the day. When he sees my son-in-law, who works from home, he will hide behind furniture and won't socialize with other family members. This behavior only happens around my son-in-law. Bogey is so fearful he will urinate in the house and has even done so on my granddaughter.  I can't afford to hire another trainer now and am questioning if this company lacks concern for their clients or possibly it's a lack of knowledge on how to properly train a dog with behavioral issues. This has put me in a difficult situation and I now have to decide whether to let this trauma continue daily, not what I want, or find a new home for Bogey, which I also do not want. That's no life for any family member. So if you're looking for someone to teach you how to say "sit", "stay" or "place", this may be the company I would recommend but I feel that they may be limited in their training skills. If you're looking for a company that will follow up with you, you might want to keep looking for someone that cares about results and accomplishments. There were many other things that showed lack of attention on their part but the one thing I was hoping for never was addressed even when I brought it up. They either lack the skill to train out behavior issues or they simply don't care. If you look at their own post on Facebook, their only focused is on sit, stay and come. No mention of training out negative behaviors. No success stories about other training issues.
