I have seen 2 separate masseuse and both have been extremely knowledgeable and professional. I see Brittany every other week and she does a wonderful job. There are several masseuse and each specializes in a different area. I struggle with migraines and trigger points and honestly with out her I wouldn't be able to function daily. I utilize the monthly membership, it gives a discounted massage rate for one session a month. It's a bit different than other places, you never lose your massage that you pay for, so if you don't use it one month then you have two the next, there is no cancelation fee and your not stuck for a certain period of time. They simply ask that you give 30 days notice to cancel. Additionally I LOVE that if you call and don't get an answer they automatically send you text message giving the hours and offering the option to contact you back.

The space itself is clean & the front desk staff are very helpful & friendly. I met Judy who is the owner & she talked me through the membership deals they offer, which I loved! I have been to a few different massage locations, & although there is no quiet waiting room or sauna/shower room here, the massage is what made it worth it. The stylist, Kristen Eiden, convinced my daughter that she needed to have her hair colored (instead of highlighted) and proceeded to spend 4.5 hours to accomplish this. My daughter came in with a picture of how she wanted her hair to look (see attached pictures). Instead of blonde highlights, she came away looking like a brunette with some gray mixed in. Kristen convinced my daughter that her hair looked good and had her believing it until she got to look at it outside of the salons lighting. After seeing her hair, she began to cry because she strongly felt that she would be made fun of at school. My wife reached out to the salon that evening stating that we had significant concerns with the styling. The receptionist said she would reach out to Kristen and have her contact us. We didn't hear anything back, so my wife tried reaching out to Kristen via Facebook Messenger and received no response at all. My wife called the salon in the morning and asked to speak with a manager. She was told that the manager/owner wouldn't be contacting her back until the end of the week! My daughter literally refused to go to school, so we were left with no other option but to go to another salon to have her hair fixed. We finally received a call back from Kristen, 24 hours after the incident occurred, and she and the owner of A Day Away Salon refused to issue any kind of refund and took zero responsibility for the issue that had occurred. If you want absolutely terrible customer service and a botched hair job, this is the salon for you!

I had a pedicure (my first ever) with Joelle (who is a sweetheart) and it was spectacular! They take you into a private room, put you in a massage chair, then put your feet in a warm water massaging jet tub thing, then she did everything to make my feet soft and pretty.
