I have had the pleasure of attending two separate weddings at this lovely establishment and both were done exceptionally well! From the service to the reception, it was a great experience all around. The venue is very nice,!the setting is pretty and has plenty of room for a large number of guests. The reception dinner is great, bartenders are as well and service is excellent. I found this place on Google while searching for venues that host anniversary parties. I visited several venues around the valley but nothing compared to the gem called the Wellington Place. The voice on the other end of the phone when I got intouch with Angela was so sweet and helpful. Angela was our initial contact. She was a light over the phone and in person. We found them while they were having a flash sale. I honestly didn't know what I was signing up for but it was like deal upon deals. Tour- the venue is beautiful. They were set up for a green and silver party. It was fantastic! Organization- we set all of our colors and decorations schemes back in August. I forget the name of that person but she was very nice and patient with me. I had forget everything I asked for but it was executed better than I could imagine. Event coordinator - Itzy was amazing. She was quick on her feet and very attentive. She kept the party going DJ- understood the assignment. He played the preselect music but have us the party we couldn't have dreamt of. Everyone loved the music. We had a mixed crowd (young & old) and everyone was dancing. MC- was amazing. He kept the party moving. Instructed is on where to stand? How to cut the cake for photos. He instructed is on how to do the electric slide & wobble, cha cha slide. Sometimes you just need that one leader to keep everyone in rhythm. The decorations- beautiful The food amazing. I will say that it was alot of food. We were so over whelmed we couldn't really eat. But it was not because the food wasn't tasty. Our food was delicious but we were too excited to eat. The chef checked on us which I thought was so nice. The venue packed us a Togo plate but we left it in the Limo. I'll have to wait until the next event to get that good food again. The photo booth was a guest favorite. They enjoyed that thing. It was alot of fun. Our photographer canceled on us the day prior but we didn't need him after all. The lightening and the picture in the lightening is also amazing. I can't say enough about this venue. I feel like I got the lottery to have found this . I went to a wedding this weekend and cannot say enough about the experience. From the arrival to the ceremony space etc... let me elaborate. Walking into the venue we were greeted by on of the staff and kindly directed to the upstairs ceremony space. it was small and intimate decorated so beautifully. The ceremony was beautiful as expected. Immediately afterwards we were directed downstairs to the reception space and had a seamless cocktail hour while the bridal party and family were taking pictures. There was a great photo booth provided by the venue that was fun for the guest to interact and take pictures. We then enjoyed a wonderfully seasoned dinner of Cod, Chicken and with potatoes and veggies. DELICIOUS. The music was amazing and the wedding announcer was on top of the schedule not a thing was missed. All I can say as a guest to a wedding I had a wonderful time. There may have been a hiccup or two but what wedding doesn't have it? What i saw the staff did their best to make the guest happy. I know the bride and groom were happy. Side note: I heard the venue made recommendations for hair and makeup for bridal party and boy did they look fantastic! i must be honest, I am VERY picky...especially when I spend several thousand dollars for a party but Angela and her crew are absolutely amazing!!!!!!! I have ZERO complaints and that's rare for me :) I planned my wedding mostly via text from 3 states away!! It was somewhat nerve-racking planning a large wedding reception from afar... I must admit I was soooo nervous about it but the truth is Angela delivered above and beyond ALL of her promises. She gave us a beautiful and perfect reception for an outstanding price!! We had almost 70 guests who all came in from out of town/out of the country and EVERYONE told us how amazing the food was!!! In fact the appetizers themselves were so hearty and plentiful we had to have the DJ make an announcement that the apps were not the dinner lol. Guests were so satisfied with the appetizers they just assumed that was the main meal. The main course was served hot and quickly. All 70 guests made it swiftly through the buffet line and we were able to have a blessing over the food and everyone ate together, that was nice for such a large group. Drinks were strong(get the open bar!!) and the dj kept the party moving. My only regrets are not hiring a videographer or photographer to capture the amazing reception (biggest mistake I made) and not having an earlier reception so we could have had a longer party. It was almost sad when the reception ended...everyone was having so much fun. I strongly recommend Wellington Place and I promise you will not regret it!!!! This is were you want to celebrate the most important party of your life!! This is especially true if you are planning from outside of Vegas. Angela can be trusted and she has so many options for a la carte and extras. In addition to planning an all inclusive reception she helped me secure roundtrip bus transportation for our guests which was very helpful. Having a wedding is a huge step. All the guests were impressed at how beautiful the place turned out to be and of course they had a great time! My planning began by relying heavily on previous bridal reviews. Trust me, I was hesitant to book with Wellington not knowing if this place even existed. I made an appointment with my fiancé and took a trip to go to see what the hype was about. Yes! they do exist however, as we pulled up to the building it is surrounded by a tattoo place and a Thai-kwon-doe studio. From the outside it seemed ghetto, but I didn't want to judge by the look of the outside so when we went inside and took a mini tour I realized that this was the place to be. When I booked way back in 2011 I relied mostly on their website for updates of pictures and videos, but for some reason, lately they have not updated any photos. Gwen (who was the coordinator at the time) showed us different reception settings and the type of table arrangements that they can do. I was particular about having orchids submerged in water with floating candles. Terrae who is their florist made it happen. It was beautiful!!! I live in CA and writing emails and phone calls were easy since I was able to tell them how I envisioned my venue. Erika & Angela responded to my emails quickly whenever I needed to make changes or upgrades. I would give Erika & Angela 5/5 stars because they were awesome! They truly represent the company well. Ardis was also there who is the attending supervisor/manager. She was very accommodating and helped the party run smoothly. Thank you ladies!!! Overall, everything turned out as planned. The guests were picked up on time, food was delicious, and of course everyone enjoyed the open bar. However, one thing that really pissed me off was the DJ. Robert J. Bass!!! He messed up on the songs for the grand entrance. I also paid $225 for a projector to play a picture slide show while doing the father/daughter dance and mother/son dance. I gave him a flashdrive, a burned DVD that had the music with it & all he had to do was pop it in the projector and push play. He totally messed it all up. FYI: get another DJ! read more

I have this place 3 stars. I Had my wedding here in October and was assured that everything would be taken care. My linens weren't the colors I requested nor was there table numbers for my guest. The "coordinator" for my reception was a new girl and had no clue what she was doing. She told us to go ahead and walk in. I said to her isn't the DJ suppose to announce us?! Instead of entering thru the double doors for our grand entrance, we came from the buffet side. I was already upset at that point and didn't care anymore. The DJ was horrible! Didn't play the music choice we requested and did not follow my schedule! I was very disappointed because this place had such great reviews. However, even though it wasn't perfect like should have been, The food there was amazing and the cake was really good. The staff working the buffet were kind and courteous and the bartender was loved by my guests. Upcoming Las Vegas, NV wedding? Please beware, Wellington Place is keeping my full payment of $4,674.00 for my non-existent wedding reception for no services provided at all! Our October 2, 2020 wedding was cancelled & I informed Wellington Place almost a month ago over the phone. The chapel limited the number of guests to 20 and we had to cancel due to COVID-19 restrictions & the safety of our family & friends. We are not able to travel across the United States at this time. I would hate for this to happen to anyone looking to book a wedding reception in Las Vegas! Planning a wedding is stressful enough but planning a wedding from NY during a pandemic and not knowing what the restrictions are going to be when your date comes is extremely super stressful. From the moment Angela gave me a virtual tour I knew Wellington was where I wanted to have my wedding. Angela answered all my texts, emails and phone calls and never once got annoyed. She did at least 4 different table settings for me because me and the husband could not agree. Then she did a remodel and if I liked Wellington before I absolutely loved it after. Classic and clean. I changed my bridal bouquet a week before the wedding and Angela made it happen no problem. I added guest at the last minute added food to the menu and everything was handled professionally. The photographer was top notch. My photos came out absolutely beautiful. The DJ kept the music pumping and we partied all the whole time until it was time to leave. My cousin got married this weekend and the reception was here. While I would have ordinarily been semi-judgmental about a venue that is literally located inside a strip mall, I did have faith in my cousin's good taste and figured it would suit their needs and purpose, and it actually went above and beyond. The inside was spacious, and beautifully decorated, with a staff that was totally on point, and the coolest guys working the open bar. I thought it was kind of odd that the buffet was located in a totally separate room, but after a while it made sense to have the food back there. More easily accessible to the main room was the bar and the dessert (a chocolate fountain, yum!). The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the lights were turned on during the last song as if to give us a hint to vacate the premises. I mean c'mon... this is a wedding reception, not my 8th grade promotion dance. My husband and I were married in June 2011 - so yeah, this review is super late. However, my memory of our reception and dinner at Wellington Place is just as vivid today as it was nearly 3 years ago. Angela was a huge help in planning the event; she thought of things that I had forgotten in my stress of planning a destination wedding. Just when I was ready to panic because we didn't bring a cake service set, she waltzed in like a fairy godmother and bestowed a beautiful Kate Spade gift set to whisk my fears away. There were hiccups - that's to be expected when planning such an event - but there weren't any disasters and I attribute that success to Angela. A few of the hiccups: Credit card used for payment repeatedly declined due to bank administrative issues; Angela patiently waited for it to get settled and gave me a grace period on the payment until the credit card company could fix things. Had requested two limos and two buses to pick up our wedding party and guests from the MGM; only one limo showed up so Wellington Place comped us an extra hour of open bar. I had to pack our wedding favors into a suitcase for the trip; I left the suitcase in Angela's careful hands and she had the favors on the tables the night of our reception. Our wedding guests STILL talk about this reception as if it was the best one they've ever attended - oh, and they all wish they could have more of the cocktail shrimp that was served. The main room was extremely spacious to accommodate the 350 attendees dance floor and the AV ie state of the art, And the staff was the best ever.Keep in mind that this was a toy drive to raise toys for the community.My mind kept wondering and thinking of some other event that I would like to have at The Wellington Place,It was that Nice,In every arena. Wellington place and the staff there are top notch!! My wife and I renewed our vows here recently and I have to say they go above and beyond to make sure your experience is unforgettable!! I had the pleasure to work with Lauren and Angela! Both were on there game!! After having to change venues two months before the big day they accommodated me without hesitation! They worked with what my wife and I both wanted in a short time frame!! And I have to say we had the most amazing time here with our friends and family!! From the transportation to and from, to the decoration, DJ, etc, they had it all dialed in!! And the best part is we were not rushed at all!!
