Quite possibly the most beautiful, relaxing coffee shop I've ever been in. It's filled with all sorts of beauty- plants, cozy seating, distressed furniture, plus essential oils, loose leaf teas, and more goodies for purchase. calming piano music playing softly in the background, amazing smells from everywhere- it's super comforting in here. To top that all off, customer service was great (the owner was super helpful in her gluten free recommendations, even telling me what items were prepared separately in-house) and the coffee and food are fantastic. Don't waste your time coming here especially if you are in a rush. There was no one in the restaurant and the avocado toast took 15 minutes to make. It was one small piece of bread cut in half with a very thin layer of (cheap, not fresh) avocado paste, thin slice of tomato and three tiny onion shavings. My hand for reference of size. This cost $10 w tax!! Such a rip off, not worth the price or the wait at all. Smoothies are ok, but extremely overpriced. Wouldn't recommend. read more

We loved the scenic route which took us through the beautiful New England countryside. There was open seating and we selected a counter-height table adjacent to the window overlooking a forest. The coffee-shop ambiance with acoustic pop hits and the smell of toasted bread wafting through the air created a relaxed, natural feel. The food was pricey but delicious. We ordered a Chicken Caprese Panini and a Chickpea Tahini along with a gingerbread cookie. With the 15% tip, we paid $27.88. Five stars for the food, three stars for the prices. read more

I shared a cup of soup and sandwich with the hubz... we were pretty satisfied. The sandwich was a little too dry for my taste but the flavor was good. We board our horses in Norfolk and we were looking for a place to trail ride along the power lines, when I was looking on the map I saw this little Cafe and I was like "Oh my god wouldn't that be funny to bring the horses there"? So a few weeks go by and we go for a trail ride, then I remember about the Cafe and we spot it (I was sooo exited) and we head over right away. I go in and bam! I was just blasted away from how cute and cozy this place is!! I had no idea what to order and the sweet girl their recommend the Slim fast drink and the C Boost smoothie, I asked if she could add extra ginger and some Cayenne pepper. These drinks were amazing!! I would love to give this place 5 stars because it is a healthy food location and is on the way of my commute, but after two very bad experiences I cannot. They are very understaffed and half of their menu is unavailable and also extremely overpriced for what you are getting. They are called a "juice bar", but juices have been unavailable for this entire summer. I got the Newbie Green smoothie but wanted to replace bananas for berries, which resulted in an up charge. I would understand an up charge for something like protein powder, but $14 for a 4 ingredient smoothie is absurd. Especially when it is a small portion and there is nothing special for the price you are paying. Overall, this place has potential but cannot seem to get it right. read more

This place is good, but I don't think I'll be back due to prices. First visit I had an iced latte and egg/cheese croissant sandwich and it cost $12. The latte alone was $6.50, which is the steepest price I've ever seen for coffee. It didn't have added protein, it wasn't bulletproof coffee, it was simply an iced mocha latte. It was delicious, frothy, and smooth, but I just can't justify it. I also can't justify $5 for a basic egg sandwich (no meat). My second visit I had just a smoothie, which cost $10. It was not a large smoothie, and it was pretty bland, also still had chunks of unblended fruit at the bottom, so I felt the price wasn't justified. I know the ingredients are top notch and I'm willing to pay a premium for that, but again i just feel they're way too steep. Is the place good? Yepp, absolutely! I suspect everyone who ends up here sees it while passing on 115, and eventually stops out of curiosity. It's tucked away in a small strip of shops attached to (I think) a 55+ development, very nondescript, but definitely worth visiting. Driving through Norfolk while running some errands this place caught my eye- always on the lookout for independent coffee shops we stopped in on the return trip. Super clean and bright with minimalist decor which I loved. The prices are totally fair and reasonable for the quality of the ingredients, but if you're not used to it, you could suffer a touch of sticker shock. I promise you it's worth it! A perfectly balanced iced mocha and an egg and cheese on the flakiest, softest butteriest croissant ever to exist. So good! They were out of avacado and whole wheat bread early on a Friday. I changed my order to the Mediterranean toast and it was good but incredibly small especially for $9 with tip. We also got the caprese panini and there were about 3.5 tomato slices on the whole sandwich. Also, over priced. Also got the newbie Green smoothie which was also over priced and just not good. Stopped for a quick lunch on our way to the Audubon nature area nearby. 2 Caprese, 1 turkey and cheese panini, one frittata sandwich and one green smoothie. The Caprese paninis were most decided NOT paninis. A thin smear of tasteless "pesto" with microscopic slices of tasteless tomato and mozzarella served on a thick dry ciabatta roll. It's summer. The tomatoes should be incredible. I took the top of the roll off and it was a bit more balanced, but still bland. Not worth $9. The turkey and cheese panini was deemed "ok". And was much more panini like. The frittata sandwich gets 4 stars, as does the green smoothie, which was good. Not a place I would return to. read more
