This adorable farm has it all! Cozy seating, a beautiful garden center, a private event space, and of course, a bakery & café. I ordered the Toffee Nut Crunch made with Boston's Best Coffee Roasters beans, and while they prepared my drink, I wandered around the café. They have everything from local honey and freshly baked pies to breakfast favorites, homemade treats, and plenty of local goodies to browse. This place was hopping! They offer online ordering, so there was a steady stream of customers popping in to grab their coffee and breakfast before heading off to work. I recently stopped by Phantom Farms with a friend as part of the RI Food Fights Best Iced Coffee challenge. We each ordered an iced coffee with different flavors, and both were delicious. I was happy to see they had a few gluten-free bakery options to choose from and I decided on the berry scone. It was fresh, moist and very tasty. My friend enjoyed a bagel with cream cheese. We stayed for a while to work and catch up over our coffees and it was a relaxing place to spend some time. The market is lovely and I especially enjoyed browsing all of the flowers and plants. They have a great selection that makes the whole place feel welcoming. My only minor confusion was the room with all the tables being filled with artificial plants when there are so many beautiful real ones throughout the property. It just seemed a little out of place. I went to Phantom Farms as part of RI Food Fights Best Iced Coffee. I grabbed a Dubai Chocolate iced coffee. I gave it a solid 8/10. The coffee had a really good flavor. It was a really cute café, and since it was lunchtime, I also grabbed a sandwich. The sandwich gets a 7.5/10. The flavor was really good, and I loved the crunch from the coleslaw, but the meat made the bottom of the roll pretty soggy, so it kept falling apart. I also think it could've used a little more BBQ sauce. They had a lot of different local products to purchase as well as treats. The cashier was nice when she took my order. read more

We stopped in for the first time today and the place is adorable! They have a great menu, lots of nice things to buy, and the farm itself is modern and looks great. There was a line but it moved very quickly. We ended up ordering two sandwiches, two drinks, and an Oreo cookie along with a chocolate croissant. The cost came out to $45. Not free but I thought it was reasonable for the amount of food we got and the quality of the items. I was impressed with their amount of outside seating as well, it was nice to sit out and enjoy the local sights. The chicken salad I had was a little messy- the bottom half of the bread didn't do a good job of keeping the sandwich together. However the portion size was huge! In the future I would ask for some pepper on top or maybe a vinegar. My significant others tuna sandwich was also large but he felt it was a little dry. Their baked goods are outstanding though! I really enjoyed my cookie. It was soft in the center but crispy on the edges. I heard the croissant was great as well. Overall, I would give Phantom Farms a 4.5 but rounded up due to the quality of their food. I would definitely come and try some different items again! read more

Been coming to this farm for years. Whether it's to get the seasonal pumpkin, or buying various bakery items. The food and quality is always the best. On this trip I ordered a bacon and egg on an everything bagel with a Blueberry lavender tea. Very delicious and fast. Staff is always friendly here as well. So I've been going to Phantom Farms for over 20 years now. The first time was in 2005 when my college RA booked us a trip up there to go apple picking. I immediately fell in love with this spot. However it was not close to my college and i kind of forgot about it. Fast forward to 2019, when i was brought here for breakfast. I was taken aback that this was the very spot i had went to and loved long ago! I frequented here between 2019 and 2022 when living up in Lincoln, and loved every visit. Today i was disappointed. While it still looked beautiful and was stocked with local books and gifts, the service was not what it used to be, nor was the food and beverage. I had several employees walk by me while I waited at the counter. Nobody said I'll be with you shortly or someone will be right over. They just walked by. This went on for several minutes. My tiny latte was more than $7. I drink a lot of coffee and this was very disappointing. It was watery and lacked flavor. I was walking around sipping on it and taking photos, and missed hearing my name called for my breakfast sandwich. There was a bag on the to go spot, so i asked if it was mine. The guy opened the bag, looked in and was like looks like it might be egg on a croissant and handed it to me. I was very underwhelmed. I only knocked one star off my rating because any business could have an off day. I've had so many great experiences in the past, but today was definitely a let down. If i go back again, i hope it will be an all around better experience! read more

Had a nice Saturday stop-in at Phantom Farms. My first impression was that parking was pretty painful -- not quite enough parking in their lot, there were many people waiting for spots. We loved their bakery, there were great gluten-free options and goodies for all ages. We tried their iced lemonade which was delicious! There was a great kids area with bounce houses and a mini hay maze. My niece got her face painted and the results were super cute. The hay ride was out-of-order which was a bit of a disappointment. The actual apple-picking left much to be desired. The price seemed a bit steep ($30 for a bag) and the orchard itself was pretty small. We found some trees with apples near the back, thankfully! Overall, good experience that left some to be desired. I would probably go to another apple farm next time. read more

This was my first visit to Phantom Farms and I enjoyed browsing around the cute farm store with lots of baked goods including pie slices, Irish soda breads, and a variety of pastries, as well as Wright's Dairy Farm milk. they also have a sandwich and coffee menu. I ordered two sandwiches - mine was a roast beef sandwich on sourdough, and I ordered a chicken caesar wrap for my husband. Both sandwiches were made to order, were very tasty, and were a good size. Service was prompt and friendly. I didn't stay to eat them there, but Phantom Farms does have a nice variety of seating areas, from cozy areas in the main room, to a sunlight filled little room with just a few tables, to a large seating area that had a high ceiling with wooden beams. I also got a chocolate chip cookie which was large, soft, and chewy - just the way I like them! I would definitely stop in again if in the area. read more

Always an awesome experience always the food is freshly made to order. Everybody is wonderful. It explains everything you need to know. They now have special menus much bigger for older people which is wonderful. It's nice and quiet here today which is kind of different. I like the fact that it's not so easy we came from passport and. It was super nice about explaining what sandwiches recovery it's gonna be a luncheon sandwich which is nice. We were able to try the chicken Caesar salad, honey, grilled croissant it was delicious. We also picked up a few extra things for home. I come here pretty frequently for coffee which is usually pretty good, but today I stopped in for a hot coffee which was not filled to the top nor very hot. I also ordered a chicken Caesar wrap without chicken to go. I paid full price for the wrap which I expected but when I opened it, it was a plain wrap with slabs of cheese in the middle and maybe 3 pieces of lettuce. No croutons. Drenched in dressing. What was once a staple for muffins, coffee, and other assorted goodies has since witnessed a decline in product value. Case in point, the "shrinking muffin". New ownership has taken the helm and things just aren't the same. It's not surprising new ownership will make changes. You just hope those changes are for the good. There is an attempt to streamline and improve the customer transaction time which is a bit cumbersome right now, but perhaps will improve. It's terribly frustrating with loyal customers see a drop in the size of a product when the price stays the same... "shrink-flation"? Case in point, muffins. Everyone loves Phanton Farms muffins. You love the quality, the variety, the flavor, the size and the price. The price hasn't changed and the flavor hasn't changed but boy the size of them have gone down precipitously. Man this place got a glow up from when I used to live down the street. What an awesome spot for Cumberland. I love their greenhouse indoor seating vibe and the relaxing outdoor patio. I came in for breakfast and loved that they had egg sandwiches as well as plenty of awesome pastries. Also a ton of options for iced coffee, lattes, and lemonades. I enjoyed my latte and gave the homemade strawberry lemonade a try which was also delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my egg sandwich and my son enjoyed the cinnamon roll. We also took some time to paint a rock for their butterfly project. Donations from the rock painting are going to the Cumberland Land Trust. Such a neat little fun experience for the community. I can't remember a time where I did t know about this place for feel fondly for it. They've done a great job keeping up and updating the place over the years. Get your apples. Your greenery. Your gifts. Your baked good, your lunch, your pie, your coffee, your fudge. You get the idea. This place offers so much! I got one more sticker for my collection and a teeny tiny fish vessel to water my latest hopeful plant in style. I got a fantastic Turkey cranberry sandwich... and although it was prepackaged, it was soft and tasted fresh. As for my coffee. I chose toasted almond with... yup you got it... oat milk. (Seriously I don't have to avoid dairy but it just tastes so good! Please don't tell me it's bad... even though I have no idea how one milks an oat...) Really really quite good. So. Just come here. Been here a few times, coffee is good and food is good and place is nice but it feels like a trap. If you order anything to be cooked or prepared, like a sandwich - ready yourself to stand around for at very least 15 minutes, which will be extra uncomfortable because you'll be standing in a crowded gift shop section while everyone else bumps into you trying to find an out of the way spot to stand around as well. I don't think it's a staff issue, I just think it's a poor layout - which is a pity because otherwise it'd be a regular place for me. read more

We drive to Phantom Farms at least twice a week and I live in Franklin, MA, so it's a bit of a drive. My husband and I always loved this place but it appears to be falling apart. Makes me sad. 50% of the time, my latte is made wrong or the syrup is left out. Every time we order sandwiches, it's not what we ordered, the cheese is left out, or we ordered the sandwich on a bagel and got bread, the syrup isn't in the latte and we leave without part of our pastry order because they hand us a bag and tell us we are all set. Then, when we get home, we find one or more of our pastry items that we paid for aren't in the bag, or we don't get the pastry we asked for but instead we get a different pastry and not the one we wanted. It is rarely a good experience anymore because our order is never right and we are so disappointed. I'm upset today because I drove there this morning. My order I assumed was correct. I ordered a latte, 3 pastries and two bagels. I should have looked in the bag. Got home and decided to have a bagel that I bought and you guessed it! Both bagels I paid for were not in the bag!! Another thing: the ordering process is not smooth. As soon as the cashier takes an order, he or she will stop to make the drink for that customer and sometimes verbally tell another employee to get the pastries. That's the problem because there are too many hands on the order. Why would the cashier stop to make a latte, making sometimes up to a dozen or more customers continue to wait in line. Like I said, the ordering process needs to be revamped. Don't get me wrong. I love Phantom Farms but it's changed from the service it used to have. read more

A very popular orchard with a store that sells sandwiches, pastries, pies, jams, and pumpkins. The pies are delicious. We've gotten them many times in the past. They're slightly more expensive than other orchards, but they have more gourmet offerings like coffee, fudge, and have areas to sit both inside and on the deck. read more

Everything is super tasty. From the pastries to the breakfast sandwiches, to the awesome coffee. The service is always friendly and patient (so much to choose from!). The dining room is sunny and open, such a gorgeous spot to sit and drink your coffee or answer a few emails. The outside patio is also quite lovely. I still really like phantom farms and I'm excited to see what is to come now that the property has new owners. As of right now, it's in a weird in between space. The price is very high compared to other coffee shops, and you can't always be sure what flavor coffee they will have day to day. Right now it seems a bit empty, there isn't much for sale in the shop area. And the seating area no longer has plants and trees so it seems a bit cold, not warm and inviting as previously. I like that they have breakfast sandwiches all day now! But I can't make it a regular stop simply because the price of the baked goods being aggressive without much else for the space to offer. read more

The woman who I would assume was the manager was incredibly rude and demeaning to staff. It was very uncomfortable. Additionally, the apple cider donuts were the worst we have ever had. They had a fake sour apple taste. Without prompting, my five year old said they "tasted like Skittles" (and not in a good way). We get cider donuts almost every weekend during the season, and none of us could even eat more than a few bites because they were so terrible. read more
