Upon initial contact, Darla was great at asking me what was going on and her recommendations. Darla was very friendly, communicative, and patient. After a week or so I finally scheduled my first hydrotherapy appointment via text. I asked for the day and she told me the time of 1pm. I confirmed with her the time worked for me. I arrived for my appointment only to find out Darla had just left. The other employee, I didn't catch her name, attempted to reach out to Darla via call and text. I also tried texting with no response. 4 hours later and still no response. It took a lot for me to rearrange my schedule to come in at a time she proposed only to be completely blown off. Darla is great. She makes sure you are comfortable, gives a very gentle colonic, takes her time, and is very knowledgeable. We discussed the fact that I am chemically sensitive before I went to her office. She was up front about the fact that she has essential oils in her office so I was very leary. She allowed me to come into the office and sit for 15 to 20 minutes to see how I tolerated her office before doing a colonic. I wish Colin hydrotherapy was more commonly known, people look at you sideways when you tell them you get a treatment like this but let me tell you... it's AMAZING! Im writing this review on Welness From Within because I have had a wonderful experience getting colonics. At first I was a little shy about going in, but come on I'm a tmi girl! So for a year or so I've been told by Jessica the technician here about the ins and outs of number 2 and I love it. I feel so light and fresh after wards, I crave vegetables. It's amazing to think of all the things that get removed from your body, plus you get to see it go by. I have even tried it after drinking all night and what do you know I was good as new afterwards. It's super calming inside and quiet. I'm high strung and talk the whole time, but Jessica is easy to talk to, and funny. Yesterday was the first time after many years of hearing the benefits of having colon hydro therapy. I didn't know what to expect but having a tube stuck up your rectum. :p. I scheduled my session with Jessica for this past weekend. I woke up on Saturday and felt like poop-- pun intended. I was bloated, grumpy, felt like my rectum was ready to go but stuck like a damn. I recently went on the start of a massive weight loss journey to loose 110 pounds! This meant I came off of some pain killers (horrible back injury), changed my diet completely (no red meat, bread, processed foods, etc), and stopped all caffeine intake. I called first and LVM, but then decided to text her as well just to see if she could squeeze me in (again pun intended). She text back and was able to fit me in as her last client @ 6pm (again, thanks!). I went and had no idea what to expect other than smell, fear and a tube in my rectum. Surprisingly, the experience was way different-- except there was still a tube in my rectum! There was no smell, it was clean and peaceful, almost like a spa. I was the only one there with Jessica and she welcomed me with a hug. She told me about her background and what made her become an expert with colon health. She then walked me through the process and the feelings that I would be encountering. Your system flushes through and you can see everything coming out of your body-- almost like a view finder in real time. Kinda gross yet... kinda like you have accomplished something. The deeper the cleanse the harder the material she was able to flush out of my system. Afterwards I lost some weight, but mostly felt amazing. My liver detoxed some, my colon emptied out a lot of excess crap (again, pun intended), and I could feel the results immediately. I didn't do much afterwards but relax.
