He diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and Epstein Barr (which 95% of us have in our system). Saw the test results of this toxic fungal infection and told me not to take the anti fungals I'd been prescribed, so the condition got worse and worse.....second visit I asked him why I was peeing so much, he had no idea. I had an Internist friend look into the many tinctures I was sold and she said there were diuretics in 3 or 4 of them, not what someone who is thin and losing weight from illness needs! I spent waaaaaaay too much money here and they just expect you to pay for whatever is in the bag they hand you without going over it. I got wise the second visit and opened it before I left and started pulling unnecessary tinctures etc out. I originally went in for adrenal issues. He had an issue with insurance coverage that week so he had to pay cash for the visit. The front office staff - Stephanie and all the girls were so nice and helpful. He ended up needing additional imaging and labs. Once we straightened out the insurance we were bummed they were not contracted with his insurance. Vasso Anest PA-C has been super helpful - she helped calm his nerves and ease his anxiety (he's not a fan of doctors in general). She was persistent in her efforts to diagnose him. In the end he will need to see a specialist. I work in a specialist office so I know how hard getting an appointment can be. I worked all day today to get him in with a specialist they recommended that is also on his insurance plan. I was disappointed that the earliest appointment I could get was 6 weeks out. I called and left a message to inform their referral girl. I also left a message for Vasso Anest PA-C to let her know (she has always asked that we call with any updates - even on the weekend). She always call back personally with a response. I just heard from my boyfriend that she spoke with the specialist office and got his appointment moved to this Friday. We truly cannot care for anyone else until we attend to our basic needs, like our health. Recently, I had some experiences that made me rethink and realize the fragility of one's health. I found this little clinic from word of mouth, Gabriel mentioned it to me. They have great hours, take my insurance, and have the best team. A caring team! My principal complaint when I made the initial appointment was for pain management relief from low iron levels. My hemoglobin levels were way below average, actual at 6. Yes 6! This is the reason for the pain in all four of my limbs. The low iron was causing irregular sleep patterns or no sleep, breathing issues, and a few other symptoms. But one needs "sleep," to survive. The doctor did blood tests, and offered the use of steroids to deal with the pain from low iron issues, so at least I could sleep. I was offered the chance to have a steroid shot and another pain medicine via my vein. These shots were reasonable at $50 each with payment taken at the time of service. It's been a little over a month that I've been able to make this office work for me. The staff is again very kind. While I've had to back off the shots while awaiting my first iron infusion the little bit of relief for the physical pain that comes with "low iron," was at least partially relieved due to the staff here and their recommendations for my health. We have but fleeting moments in life, during this phase and small moments of my life it was truly life changing. Just having someone that cared while awaiting the medical treatments was a god send to me . Pain is a mind numbing experience and really shakes an individual to their core . The staff and all their ability to care truly shows in their service to helping others that are in pain and need no matter what their condition or circumstances. If you live in this area and need immediate assistance for medical treatment and are awaiting something give a call .
