So it has been frustrating that the story I've received every year at my annual checkup from my primary care physician at this large medical practice is the same: some of your biomarkers are higher than ideal and we'll just watch them. No further investigation, no analysis of underlying causes, no next steps at all. It's true that years ago the front desk gal wasn't very organized or friendly, and I have had to play phone tag with her insurance guy a few times. But honestly there's ALWAYS delays in medical insurance, and I've had way worse problems at other doctors' offices. The medical field is just a tad disorganized overall. BUT, they've upgraded to a well organized, quirky woman for the front desk. I've been through several insurance providers over that time and our coverage has varied but I've kept going to Nature Family Medicine even if it means paying a little more out of pocket.
