I'm not a customer at this Wells Fargo nor will I ever be, but I have been skimmed twice here at the same location within a 1 year period. Skimmed by the same person no doubt. And it's concerning to me that this particular bank doesn't seem to know or care about the illegal activity. Lots of cameras but nobody can find this person huh? I live hundreds of miles away from this bank yet the same thief is able to take my money out at your ATM. Pretty interesting if you really think about it. The Residents of this city should not have to pay for police to respond because the bank allows bushes to hide behind feet from the ATM This has gone on for years. I have yet to stand in the line for a teller. I usually use a drive trough at another location but I usually come here for the personal bankers. I tend to go back to 1st banker that I signed on with & I have never had any issue. Robert is always in a good mood, greets me at the door with a smile & makes the most mundane activity enjoyable. I am back & forth with WA- CA & I like to take care of the majority of my banking with him in CA since I have always had a great experience. When I do use the teller, they are always friendly. No matter what, I am always greeted at the door. This location does have a few ATM's right outside, which is well lit & perfect for 24/ hour needs. They are convenient for money exchange. I just call ahead a few days for when I am traveling out of town to request the money I need for a different currency. If I ever lose my card, which is often, I can get a new one in just a few minutes. I always have a good experience & because of that I will always come back. read more

I'm a COVID nurse work crazy hours and in top of that saw all their bank reps talking around their desk 4 of them to be exact! And manager tells me no appointments till next week! If I could rate lower, I WOULD. When I came in an employee greeted me and directed me to an ATM even when I explained my transaction couldn't be done at an ATM. I go to the ATM & I couldn't complete the transaction. The employee then has me stand in line. As I'm standing in line an upset customer walks back into the branch and demands to speak to a manager. I could hear the tellers laughing and making fun of the customer for "actually coming back". The customer speaks to the manager and walks out. When the customer leaves, the manager walks over to the teller and starts making fun of the upset customer with them. Terrible customer service & very unprofessional. Today, I walk in to speak with a teller again to make a transaction. The employee refused to let me speak to a teller and insisted I use the ATM. I left & decided to go to the West Covina branch where my transaction was completed by a very friendly TELLER. If it wasn't for the customer service at the West Covina branch I would have closed my account. I don't recommend the Baldwin park branch at all. This is the 2nd time we are having issues with the bank location. Also this is how you know they don't care about customers. My number one issue is with the security person onsite. The security person always wants to be telling me what's right when half of the time he doesn't know himself. First of all he's not a banker. 2nd of all right now with the Covid the bank is closing at 5pm bcus of my work I ended up arriving at the bank at 5:02 only 2 mins late!!!! I used to come here to deal directly with the alway smiling always happy and talkative Klint, he is no longer at this branch ... Sad to see him leave but happy for his promotion. There is a number of people who really shine here, they do deliver that one to one outstanding customer service. You're normally a number at any regular bank but, not here I've come to know each of the tellers and the branch mangers who will go above and beyond for their clients. They treat you as if you were apart of their family: The Wells family. They know me now by my first name, talk about really perisonalble wouldn't you agree for a branch? Everyone is helpful but, there are those few individuals who really stand out! They will get all your questions answered and help you with all your banking needs. Let me start with Adam, he is going to get all your account banking needs taken care of, need a new account see Adam he is very honest and knowledgable Next it's Steven, I've dealt with Steven on several occasion to change my money into euros. At other branches I had to wait until they were mailed to the branch not here, Steven had euros on hand and in all denominations from small to larger bills this made my trip less of a hassle. I had a problem over at B of A with the euro not arriving on time since, it needed to get ordered not here, Wells Fargo took that problem and fixed it immediately. DO NOT open an account or even bank with Wells Fargo at Baldwin Park..I repeat..DO NOT open an account at Baldwin Park. They provided me with WRONG information when I open an account. After being on the phone with the Rep and the Branch Manager for 3 hours, 9AM - 12PM, they were not able to do anything except to apologize. How can a Branch Manager who oversees the whole branch can possibly say they have no power to take any actions!?!?!!? And how can somebody who works there supposedly claim that they were not aware that this type of thing would happen!?!?! I am appalled at my experience today at this branch. I received a phone call today from the banker, Adam, confirming my scheduled appointment - to which I did. During that call I confirmed the location of the branch. Adam had encouraged us to come early if possible, which we did. Twenty minutes early. The security guard at the front and asked if we were there to see a teller and I told him "no, we have an appointment with Adam at 2:30." He goes inside for a second and returns and says "are you sure it's Adam? We only have women bankers here today. And you said 2pm?" - I assure him that it was a man that we spoke to and it was 2:30 but he told us to come early if possible. He asks if we are at the correct branch and I said, "yes, Adam had confirmed that it was the branch by Panda Express-" and before I can even finish my sentence he interrupts me and says "there's many branches by Panda Express". So we show him the photo I took of the appointment confirmation page that showed our name branch location and appointment time, we show him the number that called us, and he STILL refused to let us in. So then he asked for the confirmation email. So we show him that too and he triple confirms the branch location and "needed" the confirmation code. Then he returns with the MALE banker and says "oh I'm sorry, I thought you said the banker is Anna" - I wanted to go ape shit on him, at 6 months pregnant during the COVID19 pandemic, he forced us to stand outside with a number of people when he couldn't get his shit together. He should've let us in as soon as he saw confirmation that we got the correct branch location and an appointment.. anyway, we were then escorted inside by Adam. I voiced my experience with the security guard to Adam and he was very professional and assisted us quickly. I'm sure he could see we wanted to just get in and out. The two stars were given for Adam and his professionalism - would actually give him five stars but I'm accounting for how I would have given no stars if possible for the security guard - I don't know what is wrong with him but he needs to get over his power trip. This branch is close to my home and my husband and I come here often. I was mad because I couldn't deposit a state refund check because my husband wasn't on my savings account. The manager Brianne came over and didn't say no. Instead took time to go over the different ways she could help me and taught the teller too. I ended up being able to negotiate the check after fixing my account with a banker, David, who was also really nice to me. Thank you Brianne and David for not just turning me away. I stopped in to cash a check from state of California. Wells Fargo is the issuer. They take me to a banker to verify funds ( check is 175.00 dollars. No problem. Ask for 2nd ID give Target department store card, no good. I said ok, I will go to my bank, I didn't have my ATM card with me. He said he can cash it now if I open an account. ATMs are always not working properly. Sometimes there are low lifes standing by the ATMs asking for money. Customer service is aweful. This one worker tries to get me to switch my merchant account with them, so I call him and after I fax over my paper work he says he's gonna call me in 2 hours. He never called me back. 3 days later, I had to call him. He said my account is low in value. They only give you respect and service if you got money! Then he says he'll call me back in 20 minutes. I had a bad experience with the asst manager MARTHA, she doesn't know costumer service. I came and wanted to send money but I need to know the currency rate but she she was just continuously giving me an ATTITUDE . Her body language speak louder than words. I am not stupid not to notice or interpret . I am not good in math so I really need to calculate exactly how much will I send , more or short. She is very impatient . I have to do Face ID on my phone so I have to pull my mask down and she told me " YOU HAVE TO PUT YOUR MASK ON" I get it but it was only for few seconds . This review is to bring awareness to those that believe the money given by the bank is safe and legit. First off, I am not a customer of Wells Fargo nor do I even have a bank account since 2010. I do not have any animosity with the bank personnel or the service they provide to non-Wells Fargo customers. On the contrary, the politeness and attention given by the greeters, teller, and managers are beyond my expectations. Nevertheless, they came with a price....a very expensive lesson to be learned. I have never set foot into this Wells Fargo until July 29, 2013 to cash an insurance check in the amount of $1,576.26 less $7.50 for non-customer fee. After verifying my identity with two forms of ID and fingerprinted, I was led to the teller to get my check cashed. The teller Klint, who is well-mannered and polite, asked me if large bills are okay to which I said yes. After the transaction I took out the small bills and left 15 of the new $100 bills in an envelope along with the receipt and my passport. This money was intended to be used for car repairs and living expense. Never in my wildest dreams would this event would be so devastating and put me at a great risk. As it turns out, of the 15 bills, nine bills were counterfeits. Perhaps for someone who has a job, a steady life and savings for rainy days, they could easily write it off. But for someone who is homeless living in a car, unemployed, no source of income, isolated from family and friends, and going through a failed marriage with three kids, it hits HARD....financially and emotionally. The secret service and the bank said I have no recourse because it has been more than a week and with the possibility that during that time I could have easily swapped the real bills and replaced it with the fake ones or someone who might have access to my money to pull a fast one on me. Those theory may seem logical but I am 100% know that it was from the bank. 1) I never took the money out of the envelope, 2) the money was hidden in my car in a secret place, and 3) no one knew about the money, not even my wife. I pleaded with the manager to review the security camera and perhaps zoom in to verify the serial numbers of the money counted and given to me by Klint. I even suggested that if they get the fingerprints of the counterfeits then the teller's prints would be on those bills to prove my claim. The manager Eduardo stated that he can only fill out the paperwork, which is the 1604 form and leave it up to the federal department to decide if it worth the investigation. With an apology and stating the bank policy that there would be no recourse for me, he politely sent me off with a bottle of water after waiting for the paperwork to be processed. All in all passing counterfeit money is a serious felony crime punished by prison but it isn't worth the investigation according to the secret service and the bank. Even though I may never see that money again but I just hope someone out there would do the right thing and investigate to prevent something like this from happening to other innocent victims who trust that the money from the bank is safe. Be wary when receiving money, especially at banks who believes their system is infallible. Reflecting back, I rather have a rude, uncaring, poor customer -service people working at the bank who is honest enough to give me real money any time, any day. read more
