The renewal is for 4/27/24 and I have been reaching out to cancel since March. He does not return calls is waiting for the renewal to go thru so he gets paid. Corporate said their hands are tied since he has to do the cancellation. I have Allstate for my Home and Auto but My agent is in Eugene because in the last 32 years I have owned my home, Grants Pass has not provided decent customer service so I had to switch to an office that actually works for their clients. As a Real Estate person, Part of my job is assisting my buyers to get home owner's insurance for their new home. I will be removing Ken from my preferred vendor email I send to all my potential buyer's. I don't want then to endure the treatment I have had to deal with. Even though he was $200 more than any other insurance I looked up, I went with him because I was supporting a local military vet. He assured me that my insurance would go down dramatically after a year. This has not happened. His secretary stated they could get it down and then the next day, I got a new statement with the insurance going down a whopping $4 a month! I obtained insurance from another company for half the cost and requested James to discontinue my policies with him....3 times! I continue to get emails with premiums due! I have never had a problem with discontinuing an insurance before. Now I'm afraid this will go on my credit report as an overdue unpaid bill. What a mess! Not worth going local.
