It is 1045 am MST on a Saturday. There are 15 people in line and 3 tellers. I have watched 3 employees walk out from the back, and walk past the line. This is ridiculous and tge reason I try not to have to come in. This is tge worst Wells Fargo I have ever patronized! It is also the closest to my house unfortunately. I try to never go here. The drive up is broken quite often. Do better! I am a long time account holder and don't want to have to switch all my accounts. Not great service here mid week, 10:30 AM and 4 tellers are standing around in the back talking to each other behind the plexiglass while only one teller is open. I normally deposit my cash through the ATM but they changed their machines and the atm likes to shoot half of the money back out. The drive thru machine is faulty which can especially suck during deposits. My mom's money that she thought deposited did not and she was out $300.. just recently my stepdad found $1000 cash in their drive thru due to the same issue that it did not deposit properly, he called Wells Fargo to inform them that he had it and wanted to get it back to the rightful owner. Well this morning someone from this branch called my stepdad and said "it's best to turn in the money if you don't want any problems" as if he was not the one that called to let them know he found it in the first place. Absolutely the worst customer service l've ever dealt with at any Wells Fargo. My husband came in needing a simple letter about a cashier's check that was escheated to the state. Instead of helping, multiple employees came out just to shut him down and tell him they "don't have records older than 3 years." That is a complete lie, cashier's check records are permanent. They just didn't want to do any actual work. On top of that, raising your tone at a customer is extremely unprofessional. Instead of listening or trying to understand the situation, they dismissed him, talked over him, and acted annoyed simply because the request required more effort than clicking a button. This branch is the definition of laziness. Anything that requires real work, they immediately say they "can't do." We ended up having to contact corporate because this location refused to provide even the most basic assistance and CS even stated it was a lie and wanted the locations information. Why am I frequenting this Wells Fargo all of a sudden? Because my usual one on Green Valley and Olympic is so short on staff that they closed their drive-up lanes until further notice. When they would reopen is still unknown so I'll be coming here from now on, since this is the only location that I know who has their drive-up currently open. Located next to Smith's in a crowded parking lot, this Wells Fargo is a bit smaller than the one I frequent. I actually popped into this Wells Fargo back in April 2019 to have some car loan documents notarized (after no luck finding the appropriate person at both nearby Chase and The UPS Store) and they were very helpful in getting everything that I needed signed. The tellers there always greet me when I'm ready to send my deposits up. No matter how many work checks I need to deposit, whether it's many after a long 4 day holiday weekend or only two or three checks during the middle of the week, I'm in and out of there in less than 5 minutes. I'd like to go inside to cash my checks in, but it's easier just to drive up and go. read more

This bank chain has appalling banking hours. Yesterday I went to the Eastern and St. Rose branch, arriving at 4:57pm. The doors were locked BEFORE 5pm. The next day (Sat) I returned only to find out that branch and most others were closed on Sat. By accident I found the GV branch was open to noon. This was, I am told, the only branch open! The line was backed up to the front door, snaking twice to get to the front of the line. I am handicapped and had to stand in line for over 15 minutes to reach the counter. Once there, the clerk politely said I could sit (in an area she pointed to with chairs). Within 5 minutes I was brought to a desk where a very exuberant bank clerk named Tommy took care of me. Wells Fargo on Green Valley Pkwy in the Pebble Marketplace is our bank of choice. Although it is not the closest office to our home we go there because of the employees & the welcoming atmosphere. There is usually an employee at the door greeting you as you enter & is the first to offer you assistance. Should you need someone other than a teller, they guide you to an individual who can help. On several occasions, the Mrs & I have just 'dropped in.' No appointment. We've never waited more than a couple of minutes before we're at someone's desk who helps us. Roxanne is who we ask for. She is always friendly, knowledgeable & is quick to offer advice regarding our accounts. The tellers are friendly & chat with you as they work. Our experience at this branch has always been great. Plus, we like the location. Near Smith's, a AAA office, restaurants & other shops, we find it very convenient. read more

Opened a savings with a few grand - tried to pay my roommate rent through their app - wells fargo to wells fargo and come to find out I have an account that doesn't allow use of the app and/or transfers like that. So what? Write my roommate a check? Ugh!! Then I go online to purchase airline tickets and it's denied on my card saying my daily allotment is like $250 .. nice I have over 5k in the bank and can't access it. Arrived at 4:30, waited in line until 4:45 just to be told that we could not be helped because the banker was no longer available and we specifically needed a banker to assist us. However, the banker Tona finished up with her last customer around 4:35 and exited her desk (she saw the long line of people and did offer to help us or any of her coworkers). We were told by the teller that the bankers DO accept walk ups rather than just appointments, but Tona simply HAD to count the vault at 4:45 (someone wants to go home early!) and could not help us with a very simple task before her shift ended. When she finally came out from hiding in the vault, she hid behind her manager and would barely look at us (maybe if she had apologized to us, I would have made a future appointment with her, but not I definitely will not be). I made it clear to Sandy the teller that I SAW Tona finish up about 10 minutes prior, leaving her plenty of time to help us, but she gave vague excuses as to why closing duties had to be done at that exact moment ("that's just how it is), rather than after close like every other decent place of business. Don't claim that you're open until 5 and that you accept walk-ups when that is NOT THE CASE! read more

Racial Profiling!! Wow - I couldn't believe the treatment I received when I walked in this branch. First, my co-worker who is white went in to cash her check about 15 minutes before I did. I went in to cash mine and they pulled me to the side saying they have a new process where they verify checks being cashed by non-account holders. That was a flat out lie because my white co-worker did not have an account and wasn't "called to the back for verification." It was so obvious, neither one of us could believe it. I sat there and white a stream of white people come in and NONE of them were called to the back for verification. I'm wondering if I should pursue this and file an official complaint. I am not an account holder at this bank however I came here due to a check which was drawn up off their bank. I was asked to place my thumb in ink and place my print on the check (security procedure understandable). Problem was thereafter when I needed something to wipe the ink off my thumb they had nothing available to do so. Waited a long time for the manager to verify the funds of my check. He advised due to an agreement with the payer he was required to reach them to verify the check. He came back to say their treasury department couldn't reach the payer and therefore could not cash it due to not being able to contact the payer. Unacceptable, not my problem. I advised the agreement you speak of is between you and the payer, it's not my fault if you can't reach them to verify my check. All he could say is we can try back later. Me: his about try back now?My check is drawn up off your bank, they need to be reached so I can have the funds rightfully due to me. Poor Service!!! My boyfriend got in a car accident so we weren't able to work for 2 weeks and we really needed the money. Anthony helped us and he was so nice! He went above and beyond what we were expecting.
