This review's going to be a short one because it's based solely on the fact that if you come at 4:30PM when they close at 5PM, the doors are already locked and everyone's already gone home. Additionally, when someone was attempting to commit identity theft and we went into this location to try to resolve fraudulent accounts being opened, they said they'd look into it and didn't really end up doing anything. A nearby banking competitor was able to resolve the same situation almost instantly. Disappointing. read more

I hate going to the bank. Difficult to find parking, long lines, long wait times, unfriendly tellers, who wants to put up with that?!?! Thanks to direct deposits and ATM banking, I hardly ever have to step into a bank! But, for the very few times that I do, I prefer this Wells Fargo Branch. Friendly employees, shorter lines, and other than during lunch hours, it's pretty easy to find parking. This branch is always less crowded, probably because it is located in the Quail Hill Village Center, which is kind of hidden on Sand Canyon Ave. Minus one star because once the employee who was helping me tried to convince me to open a brokerage account and would not stop talking about it after I said I wasn't interested. We all have different opinions. But I happen to know a lot about brokerage/managed accounts, and definitely WOULD NOT trust a financial advisor to manage my money or fee my account to death! read more

Went in the other day with an issue with company check that could have been easily verified and cashed. The gentleman who assisted provided some false info despite spending an hour and a half trying to figure out what's going on and walking around in circles. There were procedures he should have done, but he didn't. And not even the manager was helpful. Left disappointed. I understand he was trying to help. I will give it at that. Came back again and this time Frank assisted. He was knowledgeable on the whole procedure. He did only a little troubleshooting and got everything resolved in under half an hour. You would think that all bank branches would operate with the same set of rules and levels of customer service but they do not. I have had issues in the past depositing large checks and having holds placed on funds access. That, in itself, is not unusual and typical at banks to reduce fraud. This Quail Hill branch and one in Mission Viejo on Oso are excellent, they go the extra way to do to assist. Great people as well. Can't say the same for the one in Ladera Ranch and a few others. read more

How often do you come to a Bank in 2012 where you are not separated from the teller with 2 inches of bulletproof glass? Answer: Never. This review can either help a Bank Robber of someone who has their money with Wells Fargo finally get the customer service they want & demand. I am tired of being treated like a number at other Wells Fargo locations because what enables Wells Fargo to give out loans and pay their employees is my money. I am tired of going to other Wells Fargo locations where you 1 teller window are open and 5 other employees sit around and do nothing. At this location you get none of that. I was at the door when the doors opened at 9am and there were already 2 tellers standing by to help customers when the only customers were me and another person. When I have checks that need to be cashed and I know I am going to be in the area of this Wells Fargo I hold onto those checks and wait to conduct my business here. This Wells Fargo even had candy laid out for people waiting in line but based on the customer service I could never imagine a line forming inside of this branch. Everyone looked professional; everyone was super helpful and I honestly was asked 3 or 4 times if I needed anything else and was told to have a Great Day by 3 separate employees. If you are in the area you can accomplish everything you need to do within the parking lot of this bank. If you need gas, food, coffee, Yoga, Nails, CVS, Pizza etc etc etc, you can do it here. I will continue coming back to this location every time I am in the area. I am SICK & TIRED of dealing with the other Wells Fargo locations. Line is always long. I had to come back 2 Saturdays because the banker is not available until 30 min later, So I will go a different WF branch, even though I live in Quail Hills. The thick glass between the teller & customers are very impersonal. Their greetings & services seem forced, robotic, and not genuine. So I closed my account and open with Chase in Quail Hills. Chase is newer & much more personal & genuine. Chase even offer free fresh brewed coffee, fruits, & pastries on the weekend. read more

I opened 5 accounts at this location for my parents , myself and sisters, they walk you through your account and answer all the questions you need. This new transfer policy and transaction rules from Wells Fargo are ridiculous! I'm considering moving to a new bank. Wells Fargo just took a simple, easy process and made it complex and cumbersome. If that is their answer to better security - to make your customers jump through more and more hoops - you deserve to lose business. I make transfers to my husband's account all the time. Now I have to enter is account number with every transfer - it no longer retains his name and account number - and I have to wait for a text message and then go back online to verify the transfer with the texted code. This morning I was attempting to setup a new recipient of a wire transfer. Upon entering the routing number information on the WellsFargo.com web site I got a message, "Please enter a valid 9-digit Fedwire RTN". I thought maybe I transposed the number so I checked the source document again. After checking I decided to google the routing number and found it was connected to a bank in New York. I called Wells Fargo Customer Service and asked what the problem was, the agent, who apparently has never sent a wire in his life replied that the number must be incorrect, I explained to him that I got several hits on Google identifying this routing number with a US Bank. Nope the number is wrong. Called back and immediately asked for an escalation agent, this person indicated that there are different routine numbers for Wire Transfers, than what is found on the bottom of a check. Why is it that Wells Fargo only hires "Mr. Obvious" as first level support, and can I get an automatic jump to escalation, or is my time not worth anything? read more

I despise banks in general! I really do! Why? Because I used to work for one and they made do stuff that was unethical yet legal. In fact, I'd rather put my money under the mattress because of my past experience. Today, I met a team of professionals in Quail Hill. I was recently a victim of ID theft and I went to this local branch. Not only did they welcome me and sincerely helped me with my situation, they didn't even try to widget sell me on anything when they could've been. Wells Fargo is highly known to sell you on lots of their dumb stuff, and I've felt that at other branches just because they see you got cheeze in your account. Not with this one. Anyway, I wanted to really praise these people for making the process seem very seamless even though I knew the process was difficult. They got my account restructured and hella protected. Big ups to Sarah, Rocky, and Chelsea. Thank you guys for your awesome service! P.S. LOL at the guy who wrote 2 reviews before me. His review was pretty vague on why customer service sucked with his experience. Judging from how bank customers usually get upset, #1 reason why people hate is fees. I know this because people used to get mad at me for not reversing fees because it's pretty obvious they abused their accounts by deliberately overdrawing them. I have never felt to mistreated by a branch before. Usually you will get the whirl around on the phone but I felt like I got the exact treatment coming into this location. Not only has WF produced spontaneous decisions (at the banks discretion as they put it) but they have no way of fully explaining the manner professionally and courteously. I felt displayed as I spoke with the supervisor or bank manager and the associate as customers and other employees were near by. I have been a WF member for 15 years and that concluded my membership because I felt like they no longer value their customers or their loyalty for that matter. I feel a huge weight off my shoulders no longer being a wells fargo customer and recommend banking anywhere else. This Wells Fargo is conveniently located at the Quail Hill shopping center, walking distance from Nekter Juice Bar and Starbucks. It is hardly ever busy, parking is easy to find, it's clean and most of the staff is quite nice and professional. In particular, a young man named Matt, who has worked at several Wells Fargo locations, is always very pleasant and professional. My only real complaint is that no one EVER helps me with the door when i arrive. I always walk to the bank with my daughter in her stroller, and the door does not automatically prop open, like many large, heavy, commercial doors do. Every time I have to pull the door open, hold it open, maneuver a big 'ol stroller through the narrow doorway, then make sure it doesn't clip my heels as I quickly hustle through. I have even been greeted by someone standing at the entry way, and they just watched me struggle as they said "Welcome to Wells Fargo." Open the damn door for people if you're going to spend your time greeting with a cheese-ball smile. Even if there is not a greeter, someone should be available to help elderly, handicapped, and needy individuals, open the door. Or at least install something to prop it. read more
