I recieved a mail with credit cards offer. I enjoy in person customer service. So I walked in the menifee Branch. Waited over an hour. A male banker walks up to a guy sitting next to me and asked him if he's been waiting for long. After they talk I asked the banker a question yet he keeps walking. Maybe he didn't her me so I again say excuse me sir I have a question and he says I'll be right there and continues to walk away. He comes back and I tell him I've been waiting here over an hour how much longer. He says if someone doesn't show up he'll be able to help me. I told him I'm a walk in. I didn't know we have to have an appointment. Then he said, the front window should have told you that and he walks away. Terrible customer service and how he's not fired is mind blowing to me. read more

I don't know why this location gets such bad reviews. They are always friendly at the window, and they have two inside atms where you can get any denomination of bills, even $1 bills. I use it a lot to get various denominations for eating out for tips. Also regular atms outside. Convenient location in the marketplace. read more

I used to be an Account Executive at a bank and could open an account in 15 minutes flat. We were there FOREVER and also had to sit through inappropriate questions from the banker. I was shocked that I had to stand in line - at closing - to make the initial deposit (we always expedited that behind the scenes for a seamless experience for the new client) We also received call a few days later to return to the branch because our account was not set up properly. It was long, drawn out and a completely unnecessary process that I did in less than 3 minutes online at another bank. It's also ridiculous that you have to wait a week for your debit card in 2024. read more

They informed me after 15 years they were closing my accounts with no explanation. They told me I had to go into the branch and so I made appointment. Then they said I didn't need to come in. Nobody in this bank knows what they are doing-not in Same page. Horrible bank! I would rate negative stats if they let me read more

I have been with Wells Fargo for years and never have had any major problems so naturally I went here to open my sons first checking account and our experience was amazing. We worked with Tiffany and she made the process very memorable. She walked my son through everything, took her time, answered all of our questions and was so sweet about everything. I went back with her the next day to open my business account after going back and forth on which bank to do this with. Thank you Tiffany we appreciate you. My only advice would be to make an appointment the wait time was a bit long. read more

Do not go to this branch. Had to sit through the most inappropriate questions from the banker. And was told from an online agent that I still have to go back (to a different branch) because he did everything incorrectly. Wells Fargo is such a joke. read more

Totally WORTHLESS, they know how to call you but have no idea how to pick up a Phone. Customer Service is NON-Existent. takes 15 minutes to contact Fraud Department, then you sit on hold for 10 minutes, hard to tell who's committing the Fraud? read more

Horrible bank -know this if your identity is stolen and you have police reports to prove it they will not give you your money back that they gave away to thieves. I am so glad I do not have to bank with Wells Fargo I just waited in line in the heat outside for 45 minutes because they only want to hire two tellers at 9o'clock in the morning when it's busy and make us wait outside. thank God I bank with Chase and they do not do that ...all I had to do was make one deposit into somebody else's account and took me 45 minutes ridiculous management needs to know more tellers need to be on board when things get like that and don't make your people wait outside in the heat!!! read more

Horrible location and staff. Very rude tellers especially the gal named Emily. She should be retrained on how to speak with customers.

Had to close out my accounts nothing to do with the employees or services just felt it was the right move every year I would get 4 service fees when I was up to date with accounts. read more

Wells Fargo has always been bad but they got worse with Covid. The only 3 people capable of helping me went to lunch together so they gave me a phone number to call instead. I called as i drove home. Turned out what i was trying to do can only be done at the branch. Back to the branch I go, decided to close all my accounts or so I thought. Went to US Bank, opened new accounts easy peasy. Next day i see online banking and activity at Wells Fargo. Called 800# they tell me accounts aren't closed just zero balances. Great so now auto payments have posted, direct deposit posted. The payment i was trying to stop but couldn't posted so now I'm overdrawn and my paycheck is not avail because im overdrawn by millions ( typo with online payment which is why i had to close. WF couldn't stop payment same day). Drove back to branch 12/31 and they are closed but left a note to go to scott road branch. Only one person in the entire branch can help so here I wait. Chase bank didn't have anyone who could open an account yesterday. Wow! I manage a business and require a manager on duty at all times. I guess with banks its half staff, due to lack of science with Covid. read more

Parting is such sweet sorrow, after 18 years with Wells Fargo, I closed my account for a lot of reasons. Though I was disappointed with this banks fees and inability to give me a credit card after all these years, I had the nicest Customer service this morning from "MAJDI"! Please do not use Wells Fargo. They have not only used my money to pay someone else's property taxes, and not paid mine while doing so, but now have increased my mortgage payments by $1000 a month!!!! Because they did not sort out the escrow correctly! WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY EVER!!!! Please save yourself a headache and look elsewhere, even if they have a good deal! They are the absolute worst. Oh, and also, my 401 K that they have had access to has had money missing... something is seriously wrong with this company! The WORST BANK EXPERIENCE EVER ! My wife and I went to deposit a roll over check from a 401k into an established Custodian account set up at the Denver CO Branch, Ms.Godina (associate) refused to deposit check into account stating check was not Issued correctly " It was". then said she needed to get approval from someone higher up in the Bankster organization of Wells Fargo and we would have to wait till tomorrow. Tomorrow arrived and my wife called to find out what the delay was and was told by Ms Godina, there is a lot of 401 K Scams out there, that she had no idea how we ran into this Wells Fargo Associate Banker, but she did a back ground check an found out she was nothing more than a glorified bank teller and did not know what she was doing, that more than likely we could not deposit the check, and that after I get off of work for both of us stop by the bank. I was not happy in the least. After work my wife and I stopped at the bank and was greeted by Ms Godina, stating that the Denver Branch manger spoke to her manger in Menifee and everything worked out and we could deposit the check, She had my wife endorse the check and then placed it in a Fedex Envelope, When we asked her what she was doing she said, I am mailing your check to Denver so they can deposit it, this is how Denver wanted to handle it. being late in the evening and Denver office being closed there was no way to confirm this. The very next day I contacted the Denver branch and asked them if Menifee sending the check back to them was normal procedure, and was told absolutely not. To brief this letter for Two days we waited for the check to arrive in Denver and it never did. we finally called Ms Godina and asked for a tracking # and she told us she never mailed the check, she was busy and after twos days got the OK to deposit the check so We should come down to the bank and get our receipt. Complaints were filed with Both Regional Branch officials to which we are awaiting a final follow up. In the mean time I have been telling everyone how the Associate lied to us, then literally held our check out of the bank system and refused to deposit it and that they should bank elsewhere, Funny thing everyone I spoke with in return shared their horror stories and bad experiences they have had with Wells Fargo. Maybe its not just the Local Menifee branch that needs to get a clue. I will be moving our funds elsewhere read more

It is just amazong that at 1:30 in the afternoon on a friday there is only one teller with 6 people in line. The manager is standing in the backgroind watching the one teller. Mean while the teller is talking to the customer about how her hair is growing. Meanwhile more people are standing in line. Horrible customer service read more

This bank is a joke. We scheduled an appt to add cards to our acct for our businesss and they over scheduled us and we have to wait. Added my husband to my account this past weekend, service was fast, wonderful and we were in and out without an issue. Even for a Saturday and it looked pretty busy. The guy who helped us was named Tyler, I think, he was very friendly and formal with us. My husband already got his ATM card in the mail, wonderful service! read more

I went in to get a replacement card for my fiance earlier today. The flat chested lady with obvious extensions in her hair told me no sorry we cant do that she has to to be here. Someone please explain to me why? When i am the main account holder and she was just a add on to my own account. She had a attitude since i walked in the door which made decide to come here and post this. Very rude lady. I have only been to this bank a few times, but so far I am highly impressed! They always always have at least 3-4 tellers open which keeps the line( if there is one) moving!!! Unlike BofA in Menifee which you can count on being there 10-15 mins with the lines there. Silvia Congel one of the tellers is super sweet and she really helped me when I had to go in for something. I would definitely recommend this bank. read more

Wells Fargo in Menifee is a good place to withdraw or deposit money. Staff is friendly. A good Wells Fargo for sure.

This bank has really angered me. I owe back child support even paying what they ask I get bank levies. I fully understand that this is my FULL responsibility. But with Wells Fargo I get $125 service fees every time a levy comes in and with Wells Fargo (the only bank to do this) the levy fees just keep coming and coming. When I went to cash a check (no account) they pushed and pushed for me to open one. I told them that I dislike their bank and why. Brenda one of the lead bankers insisted that I would not have this issue again and how they have changed over the years. Foolishly I opened an account with her. 2 months latter levy #1 $125 to Wells Fargo. And I get it no problem paid it and forgot it. one week later levy #2. this is the same child support account. Only one exists so why am I getting charged 2 or more times for the same levy within a week. And I was told this would not happen. She lied to me to get my business and now I'm stuck owing more money because they refuse to work with me. This seems to be a very dishonest bank. read more

I had one the BEST experiences EVER at a big name bank. My personal Banker was named MARISSA CERVANTES. Easy to talk to friendly and helpful, Who knew Wells Fargo carries RENTERS INSURANCE? She was extremely help in explaining different tools that would help me in building my credit back up. Plus how to get my direct deposit set and many other banking needs. I was warned about banking at Wells Fargo. But did I listen? No. I had to find out myself. Their policies stink. You have to pay to use your own money. If I write a check to someone and they go to Wells Fargo to cash it, it cost them $7.50. I go there to cash my own paycheck that is written on a Wells Fargo acount and I have to pay $7.50 to get my money. On top of that, I made a mistake, which I fully admit, and I was charged twice for the same check. It ended up costing me $55.00!!! I made an appointment and went in to talk to them. They basically said too bad, they didn't care at all. So I closed my account and I will never bank with them again. Beware of Wells Fargo. They will get you and your money anyway they can. read more
