Disgusting experience at this Oceanside branch. Unprofessional, Appalling + Insensitive. My Mother recently passed away. Prior to her passing (even having legal power of attorney), Wells Fargo has been offering excuses for transferring her Money to us (by legal family trust). And now that she has passed, we provided both her death certificate + legal Trust documentation. Not only have we spent 2 days + 7 hours at this branch location in order to have access to the Trust account, but the manager (Lisa) "giggled" after I mentioned to her that we've spent 7 hours with this ordeal. Her exact words were, "you should have a job here." No sympathy, no apologies- just a laugh. And this matter is still unresolved. I've heard disaster stories of Wells Fargo + now can attest that this corporation has "no shame" in dealing with funds of a dead person + its managers have also shown a lack of respect for humanity + its customers. We'll be doing business with another bank as soon as we're granted access to our Family account. It's obvious Wells Fargo is squeezing every second and penny in order to hold on to my Mother's money, in which they've invested. It's not your money! read more

I personally had a horrible experience at Wells Fargo. I wasted a lot of time jumping through hoops. Incompetent at best, deceitful and shameless at worst. My experiences were in reference to a power of attorney and a trust fund. I will NEVER do business at WF again. This is about WF's company policies and procedures not necessaryily thhis branch (only go to a satellite branch if you're looking for basic banking, go to a larger established branch that has more experienced bankers to handle investments, etc). I understand why WF has such a horrible reputation and is constantly being sued (mortgage issues in Baltimore, blatantly charging fees, opening up fake accounts for individuals.. the list goes on all you have to do is Google it). One of the worst banks in the world. read more

Gabby is amazing and so helpful!! She was under a lot of pressure for a very busy Saturday but she kept her cool and her promise to call me Monday when she had an answer for me and I appreciate her work ethic especially when other customers waiting in line were not as patient. I understand that there is a shortage of workers right now so if you see a long line or are waiting a little longer for your food or any other service, be patient! These wonderful people deserve your appreciation for coming to work for YOU! You have choices.. You have a cell phone, play a game or answer some emails or come back later or earlier the next day. Wells Fargo is absolutely the worst bank I have ever dealt with. I needed to make a withdrawal from an IRA. It took me ONE hour to do so. The banker I worked with was nice enough. He needed to call the 800 number and work with them to get it processed. I have another IRA at another institution and it takes 5 minutes over the phone. I'm going to be looking to move my money to another bank because this one sucks. read more

Wells Fargo is the Worst! Go across the parking lot to SD credit union. They charged me an overdraft charge for 35.00 - no reason (seriously no reason). So I called - it took me 4 calls able about an hour all together - the worst phone service!! They finally returned the 35.00 charge - after I threatened to leave the bank! The bank had a line around the building. I had to wait 40 minutes before I was helped. Two people working in the bank. The manager told me I could use the outside telling machine if I wanted faster service. I made a formal complaint by phone. Nobody ever followed up with my complaint. Don't bank here. I've been banking with Wells Fargo for about 5 years, maybe longer, and they've been great with my usual deposit/withdrawal visits until I started to go to them for my business. My business was in need of a new POS Merchant System. So they promised me this and that, had us sign our name and get approved, we did, Jaime told me I'd get my merchant system the week of January 1st, but before January 1st, 2017 so that I'd be good to go on January 1st and cut off my old Merchant System to avoid the complicated tax stuff at the end of the year. So I called the branch a few days before January 1st asking to speak with Jaime for an update, and he disappeared on PTO until January 3rd leaving me with nothing. That sounds harsh, but I called the merchant services 1-800 number and they said my account was closed so they don't see any orders or updates. You could only think that you got scammed into signing something that you don't know was real or not as this point. On January 3rd, Jaime called me back to tell me he did NOT put the order in for the merchant system because apparently I'd get charged for the month of December, when we discussed prior to this call, that we would have the system before January 1st in order to avoid the hassle of taxes for both Merchant Systems. Now he's saying it's just 1 short week of taxes that needs to be done for the old system. What the..? To this day, January 9th so nearly 2 weeks into 2017, I have NOT seen my merchant system at all. On top of this incident, I went into this branch for the usual deposit. I noticed 8 people in the regular line and 1 in the Merchant line, so I decided to take advantage of my merchant benefits. By the time I was helped, 12 people were helped in the regular line. I do NOT blame the guy in front of me for exchanging his currency, but come on Wells Fargo.. this line is supposed to be special! I didn't get any acknowledgment, no "sorry for the wait", or anything. I didn't even get a sorry when I was finally helped. Just got a whole lot of finger slamming on her keyboard, like it's my fault. I used to love coming here because people were so friendly and acknowledge you. People remembered your name. One of these people was Jessica. I don't know if she works here anymore or left to devote herself to college, but there needs to be more people like her. read more

This is an update on a pervious 5-star rating for this Wells Fargo Branch. My checking and savings were hacked (the risks we take when shopping online I suppose!) and $2,000 went missing. I was late on my payments a couple times and he helped me set up my online banking and even went as far as setting up an alert on my phone for extra back up(i'm bad with payments). I closed my business account with this bank as the people in this branch does not know anything about customer service. I was trying to avoid the monthly charges and the Business Banking person said "THERE'S NOTHING HE CAN DO!" You don't say that to your customers. You say I'll see what information I can find...duh! Then I call the 800-number and a customer service person actually informed me that the monthly charge can at least be reduced in half. Don't say no right away! That's why WF has turned away so many customers! Why do these people get the job??? read more

I now know why I closed my Wells Fargo bank account and opened an account with my local Credit Union. I worked for a company in a temporary position and was paid with a formal company check. After being paid with a formal company check from W/F I went to the local W/F Branch to cash the check. I had to wait about 20 minutes for the bank mgr to make sure the check was lagit, once the check was approved. The mgr sent me in line again to have the check cashed. I walk up to the teller and she ask for a fingure print, two forms of ID and then tells me there is a $7.50 check cashing charge. What a rip off!!! This is how people are ripped off on a daily basis from banks. I then asked for my check back and will never walk into anthor BANK again. CREDIT UNIONS are the best financial service out there! If you have an account with any bank, please close it and move over to a Credit Union, better service and much more trustworthy. read more

This is the location inside Vons, and I like it because it's open later than other WF locations. It does get busy on Friday afternoons because of payday, but it's nice that sometimes the manager is in the line trying to speed the process up by seeing how he can help, or offering water, or just chatting with the customers while all the tellers are full and helping other people. read more

I am absolutely overwhelmed with joy after my visit to this Wells Fargo! My teller Nicole Nugent was amazing and our conversation was very real! She was so helpful and really cared! We just moved to OS from OC and I can not tell you more how wonderful and pleasant everyone is here! It's like a whole new world! Somebody pinch me! We stopped by to get two items that needed to be notarized and we were told they couldn't help us without an appointment. They said Denise Giganti "premier banker, AVP" would call us for an appointment and that we would need to return the following day. It's been two days and we still haven't gotten a call. I have never had such bad customer service from a Wellsfargo bank. Maybe it's because they are in a store front vs a bank office. I always come into this location because it's the closest to my home. It's located inside the Vons off of the 76. Every time I come in I always get greeted (which I love). I usually will always try to get Cynthia to help me out because she is just a really sweet girl. She knows me by name and even knows my baby's name. (She usually always come with me). Although Cynthia is my favorite teller all the others are also very nice. I don't need to go to any other WF location since I love the customer service here. And the fact that there's also a starbucks in the store is a plus :) read more

2009 and Wells Fargo is still as bad as ever. I have a Auto loan , I called them to see if I could get a late fee waived. ( that was my fault I lost my job, father died, bad car accident, basically life happened) after being transferred more than 5 times I spoke to a man that told me to write a hardship letter and fax it. Then he told me if I make a payment with him right now it would look really good and help me get the late payments fee waived. It was the 13th of the month and my payment was due 23. I asked him was there a fee and he said yes, but would waive it. I told him if the fee was waived I would make the payment. So when I looked at my bank statement on the 23 it was short by $10 I knew were to look. I have been told by two supervisors that if I could pay the car payment I should be able to pay $10.00 / they told me I did ok the charge and to stop complaining/ , and if that was not enough then the guy asked me how did I want to pay the late charges...Are you kidding me..REALLY..I gave him my account number ..123..when hell freezes over..and put a little something extra for him too.. What have I learned ...If I don't have the money in the bank I can't buy it EVER....and to get a new car loan with USAA my new Credit Union.. Thanks for listening read more

I have to agree that Wells Fargo loves to cause you dept and that the Wells Fargo banking system appears to be a thief of my hard earned funds. I complained to Wells Fargo Bank, Oceanside California to stop checks so they would not go through. They stopped payment for each check (just slightly less than $20.00) AND charged $35.00 overdraft fees. This bank is a one armed bandit when it comes to your savings and checking accounts causing dept and the added stress that your wishes for your account mean nothing to them. I was also told there was nothing I could do so they kept bouncing checks over and over and over again. I called the Feds for help and got it. Many check fees were paid back to me. In the meantime I have gone to another bank. Both my son and I shared our personal income to Wells Fargo. My son wanted out too as we both were on the same account direct deposit. We told Wells Fargo to end our account and have a lawyer. They took our lawyers phone info and they still got into our direct deposit funds. They took all of my son's direct deposit and we still were told we owed them money! They do not care about their customers, THEY WANT YOUR MONEY!!! Call the Feds for help!!!!! read more
