Hours of operation is limited, only 1 person helps the long line of people on their lobby so it takes 20 min before anyone had acknowledged us. I had an issue that could not be resolved online but before I could even explain myself I was welcomed with an unprofessional tone. I understand working with people is strenuous and my complaint means nothing but they were so rude I have to complain. Cynthia who appears to already have been complained about on YELP and this location was rude and told me to call other branches because she didn't know how to help me. The Oceanside blvd branch called me to inform me of my issue but I opened the account with Cynthia's branch so naturally I called them but just to be dismissed and told to call someone else. I tried calling back and another young lady welcomed be with the same tone (that must be the culture at this branch) I tried to explain my issue but she sighed and I asked for the manager only to be told there is no manager. I had an appointment to get in my safety deposit box at 2:00pm. When I arrived, with 1 other customer in the bank and 2 tellers, I was told to sit down and wait 15 to 20 minutes! I have been to chase banking in ECONDIDO 4 times this week to try to take out my stimulus money to pay my rent. I have been refused 4 days in a row. Yesterday, I went to Chase on Grand, where they asked me if any manager knew me. The first manager came out knew me as she smiled. The second manager said she did not know me even though I had 2 letters of acknowledgement plus a recent driver's license and copies of my Social Security letters. They are terrible and take your money to a new bank like Well Fargo. Chase does not care about customers of 30 years like me. I am low-income, a dedicated teacher for low-income and disabled due to a slip-fall accident at a Arco Gas Station in Sherman I Oaks where I received no money, because the lawyers got paid-off and I got bankruptcy and lost my apartment. Presented a check from a Chase customer. I am not a Chase customer. They refused to cash it. If they think I'm going to open an account with a corporate bank who refuses to provide customer service, they're out of their mind. Do yourself a favor, switch to a credit union. And definitely stay away from North County Credit Union, they're actually worse than Chase. These two banks are a couple doors apart. Maybe it's the proximity to WalMart which makes them so un-American, I'm not sure. Anyway, if they're wondering why people are buying Bitcoin, it's to shut down banks like this. I waited 1 1/2 hours to simply put another name on my checking account. I watched 3 employees stand around and talk while waiting for the one "certified banker" that could help me. Granted, I did not have an appointment but this was ridiculous. Apparently they are an advisory bank now. There is only an ATM machine, one certified banker, and 3 employees just standing around in the lobby. Not a great business model. read more

I already started a claim in Arizona. I went into the bank to discussed it because the same acquire showed up this morning. I walked in and there was no customers and six staff. I told the banker what my problem was and I needed to talk to someone. She went into a room with three people talking and laughing. She came out with a piece of paper with the claims number..... highly would not recommend going to this bank. They don't care about you. read more

I used to love coming here when it was a Boston Market, then it became Washington Mutual before being bought by Chase, but I always thought the location was just ok. Being next to the Denny's always brings a little rif raff and now that Blockbuster is closed and replaced by another Bank it's pretty safe. Countered by the 24 hour Super Walmart I generally come here because I can get in and our easily. Indoor ATM's are a plus. The inside is a regular Chase bank. I miss the cash dispenser, but the glass is quiet and a little intimidating considering you'll be surprised when you find out how often banks are robbed, even banks like this. read more

Always incredibly friendly at this branch..even when I'm a little peeved that I got overdrafts up the wazoo... More than likely because I'm not the kind of girl that walks around with a check register for keeping track of all the random purchases I come across. I went in today and I saw as I was driving into the lot a bunch of people starting to head in and I jumped clear over a planter to get in and thank goodness because no one else was waiting.. And by the time I left, a mini line had formed. But I was in and out within five minutes. read more

The customer service here is consistently awesome! Any time I need information regarding finances, or help fixing an error on my account (usually by a business, not the bank), they have always been very professional, polite, and quick to solve the problem. I took my girlfriend out to dinner for Valentine's Day, and when paying the bill, I am so used to paying with my card, I gave the waitress that, instead of the cash I brought. I knew I didn't have the money to cover the bill in my account, so I wrote "cash" in all the lines of the receipt and didn't sign it. The restaurant accidentally ran it anyways in all the chaos of the droves of people there for Valentine's Day. It over drafted my account. I went in and talked to a banker about it, and he helped me get everything taken care of, and refunded the overdraft charge. I contacted the restaurant, and they also took care of everything, and refunded the charge to my card. I also had a problem where a flower shop took almost a week to process my purchase. The Chase Mobile App automatically deducts any pending purchases from your available balance, so you know how much money you will ACTUALLY have once the processing is complete. It showed the purchase, and that everything was fine THAT DAY, but then the flower shop didn't take the money out in time, and they charged me later, after I thought it was already paid for, and spent money that I didn't really have. This resulted in an overdraft charge. I called this Chase branch, and they checked out my account. They explained what happened, and refunded the overdraft charge. read more

why isn't there a zero star rating? or a negative star rating this bank deserves the lowest of the low. after telling me i am opening a free checking account, i have been continually charged every month for an account fee then after falling a little behind on my balances they started harassing my poor elderly grandmother who has NOTHING to do with me or my dealings. Funny thing is, i called their headquarters and spoke with a representative who told me all sorts of information. Now guess who is calling saying that conversation never happened and i am still evading them sorry to use such words but... i fucking hate chase.. don't let the smiles of the employees who work there confuse you, they are working for a devil and will gladly get you to agree to signing away financial freedom oh yeah, say good bye to debit cards, they are instituting a maxiumum charge amount of debit cards "to prevent identity theft" hope you all love credit cards and the wonder and joy they contain again...fuck you chase read more

Both our checking and savings accounts were compromised due to fraud. While I understand the bank doesn't control that, they immediately blocked the accounts and required we go into a branch to open new accounts. There was one banker available at 4 pm and we had to wait over an hour. Newsflash, people work during the day, you should be sufficiently staffed in the evening hours. We came prepared with our trust info and all required ID's and after waiting an hour to see someone, they started combing page by page through our trust claiming that they couldn't open in trust ownership without "legal review" because our trusts states we have to sign together (it doesn't) and chase doesn't open those types of accounts. It's California, and almost everyone with any net worth has a trust. From what I understand, financial institutions typically don't want the risk of interpreting trusts and should be doing the exact opposite of a "deep dive" into the terms. After I let her know I actually knew something about how this works, all of the sudden it wasn't a problem and the accounts were open. If it wasn't for my long standing relationship with Chase, this would have been the tipping point for me. I despise the power trip that these big banks get on. In the end, the accounts were opened and debit cards expedited, so I do appreciate that. However, this was overall an unpleasant experience. read more
