Three stars is the highest rating I can give a bank. I don't know what the inside of this branch looks like, because I only use the big beautiful drive-thru ATM (never go at night). I wish that more locations would install a drive-thru. This location makes simple banking (deposits & withdrawals) as convenient as it gets. read more

Wells fees are so annoying. I think they really are taking their prime users money from them. Having a checking account doesn't need so many restrictions. Wells seems to be more efficient inside, and the employees at this location are very friendly, it's the parent company that is annoying. When you get fees be sure to ask them to reverse them. I bet 50% of the time they will if they haven't don't it recently. read more

Wells Fargo is the most crooked bank in existence. I had problems with them about a year ago when a payroll check of mine was found in a pile of paperwork. It appeared to be uncashed but I knew there was a possibility I had taken a picture of it, and deposited it by sending the picture (mobile deposit is what they call it )to Wells Fargo. I called Wells Fargo and spoke to the customer service agent to confirm whether it had already been cashed or not. The representative had me read off the check number, relay all the information that was on the check and send pictures of both sides of the check. After this process had taken place, the gentleman informed me the check had not been cashed and was still a good check.I spent the 500 something dollars. About four days later I got a notification letting me know my account was overdrawn by $700. For cashing a check twice and then a few overdraft fees. Turns out the check had been cashed. I figured everything would be all right because I knew that my conversation with the Wells Fargo customer service agent was recorded and I thought I had protection because the bank told me the check was good - no such luck. I filed a complaint, and Wells Fargo concluded that the fault was mine because I had already cashed the check once. They did absolutely nothing to help me remedy aforementioned charges I did not deserve, they took zero responsibility for their actions, and simply said I should have kept my records which would have indicated if I had cashed the check or not. never mind the conversation I had with the representative who lied to me. If you look up bank ratings - Wells Fargo is at the very bottom of the list. They are crooks, liars, and thieves. I just had another situation with them where I deposited a $10,000 cashiers check. I was promised by the manager half of the funds would be available at midnight. I was printed out a receipt, saying as much. The funds were not available at midnight, nor were they available at 8 o'clock in the morning or noon for that matter. They told me the check was going to be held for 10 days even though federal regulations and the Expedited Fund Availability Act clearly state that cashiers checks, when deposited into the bank in person, are to be released, in full, to the customer the next day. Wells Fargo repeatedly, and flagrantly spit in the face of federal regulations and they take absolutely zero responsibility for the fact that they don't keep their word. WELLS FARGO IS A SNAKE PIT! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE with your banking needs. Otherwise, you may end up in the situation that I am. My fiancé and I started a business at the beginning of the year and now I cannot make payroll for my two employees. There is no accountability among these WF snakes. They are open about the fact that their word means absolutely nothing . They are so big it doesn't matter to them If little ants like us, can't access our money. What is America coming to? PS - the bank manager promised me half my money would be available the next day. She underlined the date and she signed it. Now is it the next day and I'm trying to use the money they are telling me they're holding my cashiers check until February 7. That's 10 days away. I've never been so angry. read more

Zero bankers, 2 tellers, 9 people in line on a Friday. How does a bank have zero bankers working?

Went to this location more than once and it all depends who you will have contact with. I quit coming here since I have always tried with them but their attitude doesn't work with me. Twice in a row an employee was rude to me. The one event happened when I arrived 5min before closing time to cash in a check after I stood in line for 30min at a different Wells Fargo and decided to try this one because the other one would have taken forever with their long line. I arrived exactly 6min before closing and went behind only one older gentleman to get in. This woman saw me and came out and said that they are closed. I looked at the time and explained to her that I just came from a different location and it's a quick cashing in and based on time, they should be open for another 8min. She just looked at me and rudely said we are closed, you can come another day, picked up a sign that was out and that's it. The other time I tried getting cash from the ATM but the machine said that it isn't processing. I went in and explained to the guy what was happening, he just rushed me off and said something similar to the extent that I should be lucky that they are open and can get it done. I was a bit confused since all I wanted was to get some cash and deposit a check and Only explained the issue because I assumed someone inside might care or would want it fixed. I did give them a second star because my other half had rude encounters too, but last time he went, he told me that it looks like new people are working there and he interacted with the manager who was training an employee. The manager was extremely friendly and made him feel welcome. He was very positively surprised since he had similar experiences but due to time and convenience he went to this location. This gives me hope and I hope soon I can change this review for the better. read more

Wells Fargo customer service is some of the most pitiful I've ever seen. My mother and I worked to deposit a check at this branch that was accidentally written in a different name. We walked up and were immediately turned away by their greeter who, after I verified with him multiple times, just said "yeah, just sign both names and deposit it in the ATM." So we did just that. Two days late we were called by ATM services and told that our check was held due to fraud and we needed to come into the bank. So, we made the trek again. Again, the greeter only slightly understood the situation and sat us down with a banker who couldn't be more clueless. We explained the situation and he was insistent his hands were tied and he "couldn't possibly call anyone." We were shooed away. We called our contact at ATM service and she raised hell at the branch demanding that the provide "proper customer service" to us. Absolutely avoid Wells Fargo. Do everything you can to NOT bank with this bank. read more

My banking with Emmanuel Marin at Palomar place in Carlsbad, Ca has been and continues to be a huge help. There are a lot of forms and banking procedures to follow in setting up a business account. This is not my strong point and Emmanuel guided me thru the process. This was very easy having him on my side. He has made many follow-up calls and emails on my behave. The business checks, ink stamps, and credit cards and accounts, etc. He deserves this review and much more and thank you again. Well they just plain suck. Been in three different times to close my dads accounts after he passed, all documented items required. They keep asking for more information and I guess I need a lawyer. I tried to make a deposit for a friend here in cash and they do not accept cash deposits in other people's accounts. My friend is trying to pay for a surgery in Mexico so the Mexican doctor has an account at Wells Fargo shame on him. Humiliated by assistant manager Jorge, Looks like an Ogar but dirtier. I walked in branch after they refused service to my daughter whom btw has a savings acct. Wanted to withdraw $25.00 she walked in with her school id and birth certificate. Still denied her withdrawal. So i walked in to withdrawal for her; They denied me too! Because my drivers license has expired 2 weeks prior! i was so upset. Ogar walked over to humiliate me in front of a line of customers. I immediately called customer service and transferred funds to other acct. Closed all Accounts with Wells Fargo after this poor experience. read more

A bank that doesn't take walk ins to open a new account. What's this world coming too. Do you guys want to lose business. I'm told I can do it myself or make an appointment to have it done and given a card with a link that doesn't work. When I go back into the bank there's three tellers and three people walking around. What a joke. No one can open an account for me but you can spend ten minutes trying to make an appointment for me. No thanks, I'll go elsewhere. read more

Despite the horrible news that Wells Fargo endured last year, I visited a branch and decided to open an account. To my surprise, I was told that I had an account opened in 2004 and I was good to go. The service was impeccable. I was greeted by Steven, a premiere banking associate who sat me down and processed my account set up. A true professional, he explained the different services and products without a hint of pressure, making my experience pleasant and welcoming. The bank was very clean with ample parking. I stood in line to make my initial deposit and noticed that each teller genuinely smiled at every customer they helped. It was a really nice feeling and positive atmosphere. Overall, if you need a bank that has a multitude of different products, and willing to try a a larger banking system, Wells Fargo wouldn't be a bad idea. read more

Old fashioned customer service is such a delight and its very important to me. When it comes to giving a review, I have no problem stating what is good and what is not. Here is a big bank that treats customers with the personal attention of a small town local bank. The Bank Manager, Johnathan Harris took the time (and made three phone calls) to explain the different ways money could be transferred into my son's account. He made me feel like I was an important person to Wells Fargo even though we are only talking about a few hundred dollars. Everybody in that branch seems cheerful. Over the years, (I'm a senior citizen) I have done allot of banking and I had accounts in banks across the country and despite Wells Fargo's recent negative pr, I think they are the best. Customers BEWARE!!!!!! This branch is passing fake 100$ bills from their tellers. My husband is a contractor and he cashed a check at this branch to pay his workers. When one of his workers ( also a trusted friend) went to deposit the cash in his banks atm the atm would not accept one of them. He then took the 100$ bill inside the bank to ask why and they informed him the bill was counterfeit. He then informed us and so we called the branch and they said that's to bad once it leaves the store they are not responsible. I told them this is crazy because you do not expect to get passed a counterfeit from your teller. They did not give a s@&t. So everyone have them check your bills. read more

Do not bank here! Worst customer service ever! Just want to cash a check and have to wait for an account representative to "verify" my check which is code for "sell me on opening an account". Talked with the manager and was given the we don't have phones to verify at the teller. It's Saturday. They can't verify anyway. Again, do not bank here! Never been treated like this by someone who has my money! Horrible bank. Update: 45 mins and they didn't even call anyone just as I thought. I can see that I'm not the only person who thinks that the service here is terrible. I had to wait eighteen minutes to break a $20 bill. Why...because three people at a time are helping each customer (because they're improperly trained.)The line was out the door and the employees that are standing around won't make eye contact with you or open additional windows. They know this is their busiest time of day so why have two windows open with three people working at each one..trying to figure it out? ****I finally got up to the counter and I said that I just needed to break a bill and it was a really long wait. Her response : " I guess you should have gone to the grocery store. " seriously? She needs to work in a morgue or somewhere that conversational skills aren't necessary. I was trying to get some documents notarized, after talking to the notary (Steven) I got the feeling that it was an inconvenience for him to do notary services. I have used a different branch before and didn't have any problems, matter of fact we just walked in on a Saturday and was helped with no hesitation. Have been trying to close a safe deposit box only to be told 'you are not in the system.' How can that be when my husband has used the box several times in the past few years. Have been waiting several days for bank manager to get back to us about closing the box, to no avail. We are doing this for my 95-1/2 year old mother in law who is not able to get in to the bank. My husband is on the account but they have no record of him 'in their system.' This speaks so poorly of this bank's record keeping. Banker R. Resendiz seemed unable to solve our issues without speaking to a manager who was not in - for 3 days??? My husband's mother has been a customer since 1961 - doesn't that count for something? Lines lines lines & poor customer service. I came in to cash a check drawn from a Wells Fargo account. Waited over 45 minutes for a "banker" to verify my (Wells Fargo) check. After verifying they were only able to give me the $2000.00 in $20's. What kind of bank dose not have $100's. Seriously people your way better of with a credit union vs. these big Wall Street firms! I hate this place. Most of the tellers are so unprofessional; No customer service whatsoever. "just maybe for the ones they like.. and they have a so call business lane that takes for ever. Some of the bank tellers do not even know how to count. I walked out five times for very good reasons and I kept going back because it convenient but last visit was the last time.
