Branch manager wouldn't deposit my check said it had to be sent out for approval. Said it would take weeks. It was an insurance check. I know it was because the amount was high. They called around and held my check for 15 minutes thinking it was fake. When it wasn't still told me it needed weeks for approval. I don't recommend this location. There are people camped out by the ATM at all times. This has been an issue for years with no answer from Wells Fargo. Today I went to withdraw some cash and felt very uncomfortable so I decided to walk inside to do so. The door was locked and no one bothered to come and tell me that they had just closed. I left my phone in the car so I didn't know what time it was. I stood by the door for a few minutes confused thinking that they had locked the doors since there were homeless people camped outside. They acted like I wasn't there. I've been a customer for 20+ years and honestly felt disrespected that they didn't have the decency to come up to the door when I felt unsafe withdrawing cash at the ATM. read more

The good - Nita was kind with us, and had to move our appointment at the last minute to half an hour later, but that was okay. She was friendly and quickly handled what we needed handled (less than 10 minutes). Also, kudos to Cameron (a teller) who methodically, patiently, and with friendly customer service skills managed cashing a bunch of EE bonds I had from childhood. The bad - apparently this branch doesn't really check their "customer service" appointments until the day of, and decides how they want to shuffle the appointments around their schedules that day. My husband took time off for this appointment that we made 3 weeks ago so he had to revise all that so we could finally take care of a matter that another WF branch couldn't take care of 3 weeks prior. Geesh. Also, the bankers want the tellers to do everything now so Nita had to have a teller handle all of the EE bonds we were cashing. I realize bankers these days have more important things to do than help customers, and, again, Geesh. The ugly - Cameron was methodically going through the EE bonds, and admittedly this was way too long a time for a teller to have to deal with while there's a line. BUT, when he has to speak to the manager about an issue with one of the papers not working in his system, she lets him know that this is the last bond she's willing to deal with and that we have to make an appointment for the rest. Huh? She makes him tell us this, and just stands several feet behind him and says nothing directly to us, averting her eyes when I look at her. Really?? We had an appointment, we were told to do this with a teller. We were "lucky" that she let us do a regular deposit before kicking us out. That's it. It will be a huge pain to leave Wells Fargo, and we have banked there for 13 years (inherited WF from the defunct Wachovia), but I am so tired of their attitude. If customers are too much of a pain in the arse for them, well, here are three fewer people they'll have to deal with. read more

This Well Fargo Bank is pretty bad, always long lines and very little employees working. There is not enough tellers working behind the windows, but too many "bankers" hanging around. Also these bankers look at you up and down to determine if you might be a "valuable" customer. I am taking my band business elsewhere. read more

The location is nice, and so is the service. But the only reason they can afford such a nice building is not from the interest on loans and what not. Its charged via misc. Fees. For some reason the words Declined have left the banks list of familiar words. They pend tractions for sometimes weeks at a time, and although it has gotten better in time its still has a problem with it. Over draft fees are hellacious. I once had a situation. where I got gas 10 bucks, Bought a drink and gum...they didnt charge me for the gum so had to re ring me...3 transactions....ran me105 dollars in over draft fees for 13 dollars spent. Online banking again is well funded. I bank with wanu or credit unions primarily now to avoid the shaft that wells fargo rapes us starting out the rough economic road. read more

2 weeks ago I called in regarding a problen with my account. The lady on the phone said she would send a message to the manager to have her call me. A week and a half later, I went into the branch to pull out money. Unfortunately, I didn't have time for the teller to get the manager for me to speak about my problem. So again, she sent a message, while I was still standing there, to have the manager call me. That was last Sat, and here we are on Thursday, still no phone call. Overall didn't make it very far at this location. They have a homeless encampment behind the bank on the main road. The area you park on the side has a lot of trash and smells from the encampment. I have been a customer of wells fargo for over a decade. I had CD accounts and Roth IRA account, however the interest rates that my accounts recieved was so minimum (0.2% for CDs). I didn't realize that Navy Federal Credit Union gives about 2.3 % apr for special promotion on IRA and CDs. Also, other credit unions have free checking account with better conditions and balance. I finally decided to close Well Fargo account and swithed to Navy Federal Credit Union. read more

This and every other Wells Fargo branch I use, nearly every experience has been of bank staff being rude, dismissive, or even verbally combative. I would not use this bank if it wasn't contracted as the only place to get Child Support withdrawals without fee from the ATM. Also, typically 10-20% of the bills I get from their ATMs are damaged sufficiently they can't be accepted by other ATM deposits. I didn't used to have any problems with this bank but the last time I cashed one of my checks here the bank gave me 3 fake $100 bills. I went straight to my other bank to deposit and they confiscated the money and when I contacted Wells Fargo they said sorry but there is nothing they can do. Today I went to pull cash out again and when the lady tried to give me hundreds I asked if they had the counterfeit marker or some way to check before she gave them to me whether they were real or not and she said no - they don't have any way to check. Odd that a bank can't verify real money!! So DO NOT get cash in $100 bills here because they could give you fake money and you will not be able to get it back ever. read more

Have been a long standing customer of WF for years.. But I've never been happy with this branch. The manager kept me waiting forever to look into how long it would take for a check to clear. Then when she finally came back she rudely told me at least two weeks maybe more. Bad attitude about why this was the case with a local branch. They're putting in envelope free ATM's starting tomorrow, so no more worrying about no envelopes. And as far as the fee's, yes it's a bank and yes its a business. I think if one takes good care of there account, then they won't get any fee's. I check my account all the time so I know what I have and don't overdraw it. The people there are really nice and always trying to help the customers. Very rarely is it super busy. And when it is, you can tell everyone is working together to help the customers. Horrible customer service...went in on Monday to try and refinance my truck loan...was told I would get a call in a few hours...never got a call ...called the bank twice a day on Tuesday, Wednesday and today,,,the person I initially dealt with is either in a meeting or busy with a customer every time I`ve called . I recently went in to this branch and personal banker, Kayla Passanist was assisting me. I had my 5 month old granddaughter with me and trying to hold her and sign papers became quite a task. In the middle of all this, my grandchild decided it was poop time. The mess came out of the sides of the diaper and onto my slacks. Kayla, quickly grabbed a larger size diaper from her purse (she has a toddler) and gave it to me so I could put it over the leaky diaper! That's what I call above and beyond the job description! Tellers are very friendly, but this bank is supposedly open until 6. I went there today to make a simple check deposit, parked at 557 and was approaching the door at 558. That's cell phone time so I was not off. A wavy haired larger woman yanked and locked the doors just as I was reaching for them and locked both doors. She had been standing guard and locked them intentionally as I reached for them. I hope she got home in time, but she committed a single act of terrible service and I'll remember that. read more

I had a terrible experience at this branch with both a banking specialist and branch president. My husband is fighting stage 3 lung cancer and I have a complete, legal power of attorney. I wanted to have copies made of an account on which he is signatory, and also close his old account. For almost an hour I argued with them over my right to do these things. They insisted my PofA was not valid there and I had to have their own form signed and notarized. Since there was no notary, they wanted to send me elsewhere. At one point I facetiously said I could bring my husband in and was told, "If you would". Since I had explained the situation, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I left. After a year working for Willowbrook Country Club. I went to this branch to cash my payroll check in stead to deposit to my checking account. At soonest I reach the next teller, she call the next customer, so I walked to there, she never was friendly are all after she ask me what I need without even said hi. I said, " I want to cash my check" then she ask me " Do you have account with us" I said no, then she ask me why? I mentioned to her because "I don't need to have account on each bank in the wold" I guess she doesn't like my answer because after that she said "well I need some one else need to verified the check. so she call some from the back to do the rest. they ask me for two form of ID. So I think why the banks ask for two form of ID when the State DMV gives u only one. so I use my ATM card and my California Driver Licenses. what a surprise when this stupid guys start talking in slow motion and repeating all the time "You should open an account with us to scape this hazel situations" I guess his blood runs in very slow slow motion or he fell a turtle. He called my boss to find out if He issued the check. the funny part was the stupid check was only 600 dollars. and the worst is I fell treat like a criminal all the time. he was unable to speak with my boss because wasn't at his office at the time, so he leave a message for him. So to make the drama worse he said let talk to the teller to see if she want to cashed any way. So who has the authority in this branch? so I ask him for my check I went to a cashing place Dollar Smart in El Cajon on Broadway where they treat you like a person, friendly, smart, efficient, rapidly, without drama or hazels. and even better with the only ID you can get it in California the one issued by the DMV.. This kind of Institutions need to train their employees how to treat the customers. and do not think only criminals coming to try get money. read more
