I came here Saturday on October 25 to do a wire transfer to purchase a home. I work at Bank Of America and I know that all banks are similar, so Wells Fargo does also offer the online. option to do the transfer. But I insisted to come inside because it was my first time purchasing a home so I wanted everything to be accurate. I have a five-year-old autistic nephew that came with me to the bank because his mom had to work. when I came inside the bank, I automatically checked in on the QR code that you scan on the paper. 35 minutes passed by and my nephew's already getting so anxious. He's hitting himself. He's throwing such a big fit running around trying to elope because that's what kids with autism do. In these 35 minutes multiple multiple workers passed by but none of them bothered to acknowledge me. It got to the point where my nephew was doing so bad that I asked a girl wearing a black-and-white striped shirt with jeans if there's anyone that can help me on this on the platform side. She didn't even bother to come by me and say "hey how are you? I'm so sorry for the wait unfortunately there's no one to help you today". She just looked at the other guy and said "you can talk to him". First of all, that's just simply disrespectful. You work at a bank somewhere in thats professional. You don't greet clients like that. And then the other guy came in and he said "yeah I'm so sorry on Saturdays. We're very short staffed. We don't have bankers to help you." And I said what's the point of you guys having clients check in online, but you guys don't even check who's waiting. I then had to come back to the bank with my nephew so that I can withdraw the money that I deposited in the account for the wire transfer because I didn't want something else to withdraw the money from my account. my nephew, the second I entered the bank. The second time he started hitting his head against my head. He threw his shoes on the floor. He started hitting his head on the floor. He was taking his fist and hitting his mouth and his face because that's what autistic kids do when they get frustrated. But all of that could've been prevented if within the five minutes that I entered the bank, someone came and acknowledged me and told me that there was no bankers available. So I will be back Monday to do the wire transfer and then I will speak with the manager. Because as far as I know, people who have disabilities should be treated equally. read more

9am...3-3-2023...First attempt 4:15...3-3-2023...Second attempt Went here at 9am Friday morning after a 12 hour night shift. Hit the outside ATM real quick no problem. Reluctantly when I got to my next location about 2minz down the road I realized I left my darn ATM card in the machine. Ohh snap I went into a frenzy to go right back to retrieve it being that I just deposited $1500.00 cash into my account. I get there no card, of course and it wasn't returned inside neither. I quickly stopped action on the card with a teller...all my funds where there including the new deposit. No worries but I had to wait in line to withdraw the cash I was gonna use from my card at the next location since I stopped action on the card but, the line was literally darn near out the door so I chose to leave and come back since I has been up all night from my 6pm to 6am shift. Herez where the bullshiit starts: I retuned back at 4:15pm after some much needed sleep. Upon arrival the line was still darn near out the door with only 3 tellers assisting customers, but I had to patiently wait since my card was inactive. Yelp family I did not get to a teller until 5pm and had to be at work in Oakland at 6pm. I got my cash and left about 5:05pm. As I was leaving the manager said ("enjoy your evening"). I replied this place really needs more help, it's a madhouse in here. He sarcastically replied ("it is what it is enjoy your evening"). Normally I have time to address a situation like that but I had to go to work for 6pm in Oakland ya diig. But the nerve of a smiling smirking face with the sarcastic remark all most took me there ya'll. Dude really doesn't need to be there, and no I did not get his name but he was the only male on shift at 5pm as I left. I've been with Wells Fargo since I was 17 years old, Daly City Branch. I rarely need to go inside a bank and for sure will NEVER return to the Tracy Branch on 11th Street. Special kudos to the luvly lady that kept me calm during my frantic moment with my card. read more

I normally don't like to bad review in business that are in my neighborhood. I been in my house for nearly 5 years, I have never once come in this bank without a line of at least 7-8 people. They always short staffed and take forever to take one transaction. Usually only 2-3 tellers max, and sometime even 1. I only was able to talk to a teller there once or twice during these 5 years, most of the time I leave halfway waiting. Most the time I'll just go there to use the atm, if I go inside These wait are usually no less than 30 mins. I start going to the other one in Tracy instead, friendly staff and usually little to no wait due to the fact that branch is actually staffed. read more

Waited for 30 minutes to cash a simple check from wells, and they don't have money to cash the check . The worst bank.

I usually have positive experiences here; however, the last time I went in to deposit a check I accidentally said cash instead of deposit. When I told teller, Karlysa, I intend to deposit the check instead of cashing it, she seemingly seemed annoyed with me. I've had her as a teller before and she was nice, but today she was everything but. She took a deep breath, rolled her eyes, and said "oh you mean you wanted to deposit the check, because you could have just said that and I would have done that". She deposited the check, which took all of an extra 3 seconds to do. I understand that I misspoke, but being rude to a customer for an honest mistake is wrong. The lines here can get really long, but there's usually enough tellers to make the lines go by quickly. And it's in a great location, the parking lot kind of sucks, but just don't go during peak hours and you'll be okay. read more

I banked with Wells Fargo before but I kept getting charged all these maintenance fees and other crap fees so I closed my account with them. The reason I'm still going to this bank is because I do business with someone who has an account here. Anyway, this bank (I believe it's this particular branch) is so damn slow. EVERY TIME I come here, there's a line to the door. For some reason, they take so long with each client. They have 2 tellers, MAYBE 3 working the front, who (most of them) are not friendly and don't even smile, they have 3-5 people standing around stupervising, and more sitting at the desks helping other clients. 30 minutes is the average time for standing in line, today I was there for about 40 minutes. Thought things would've changed after Covid but no, just as slow as it was then. When I go to my bank, I'm there at the most 5 minutes. When they see a line, another teller opens up until there's no line. Why can't this bank do the same? Crap service. read more

Customer service was terrible. I scheduled an appointment for 4pm for February 23. For me to get to my appointment and wait about 17 minutes for someone to tell me the person that's supposed to open my account called out. I didn't get any cancellation message or anything in that sort. I asked to speak to a manager and apparently the manager was "off". I went to this branch today and have had enough of the unnecessary line and wait times. Wells Fargo's script for their tellers is "May I help the next valued customer?" Waiting 30min to do my banking does not make me feel valued. Once I finally got inside, I see only 3 tellers working and 6 vacant windows. This is absolutely unacceptable. I witnessed 6 other Wells Fargo employees working on various other things not client related when the line outside is literally around the block. To the Branch Manager, your FIRST PRIORITY is Customer Satisfaction! Everything else comes second. We do not want to hear all your excuses. Business bankers are great! Unfortunately the personal bankers kicked out someone who was waiting with her kids to open up an account for over a half hour. They said we are closing you will have to come back tomorrow. You need to service the people that are still in the bank when you close. That was horrible to see. I have a checking account, savings and a pretty extensive brokerage account, not to mention a home equity line of credit, yet the treatment I have received at the Tracy branch is absolutely disgraceful. I visited this branch twice now, and in both confrontations I was initially addressed as though I were some vagrant off the street. The first visit, they made me wait twenty minutes for an appointment I had scheduled a week in advance because the person I was scheduled to see decided that would be the best time to take their lunch break. Today's confrontation was extra unpleasant, and I will certainly take my business elsewhere. I implore anyone considering banking with Wells Fargo to examine other options. I don't mind saying no while I am in the branch, as I usually have to, but it really ticks me off when I tell the in branch person I am not interested and they STILL forward over my information to a premier bank acct rep to try to call me and get to sign up. DO NOT bother me and never call me with a VM message saying something to the affect of please call me back as there may be something that could affect my account. I've been banking with Wells Fargo since 1990 and to this point, I've been "5 star" satisfied with the service. With that said, all branches are managed differently and this particular location earned a very generous 3 stars. I thought I scored when I walked into the Tracy Blvd office and found no lines. After all, the 11th St branch always has 5+ people standing in line. I was greeted at the door, greeted by a personal banker, greeted by a teller-supervisor----all while waiting to see a teller. I waited and waited...seriously...everyone wants to be a "greeter" and no one actually wanted to help me? Huh!?! Minus 1 star. I later inquired on an account for my business that I would not guarantee. Specifically, I did not and still do not want to undersign the account personally and want to open the account 100% in my business name. I made perfectly clear that if I had to guarantee the account I simply wouldn't open the account. Fail! Not only did the banker run my personal credit without permission but the documents provided had me listed as a guarantor. I had to read the fine print to find out I was being bamboozled. Minus 1 star. I'm sticking with Wells Fargo..but I will not be using this particular branch going further. read more

Came in here looking to get a student credit card, didnt get approved unfortunately but the customer service was amazing! i was helped by patricia and she really seemed like she cared about my credit and even had other conversations about my school and got to know eachother. shes very personable and sweet a day later she gave me a call to check in to see how everything was going even though i didnt get any services. i thought that was very sweet on her behalf. good job tracy wells fargo for having great employees! :-) read more

My sister recently went there to inquire about how to open a line of credit....needless to say the lady who helped her (Indian chick) was very rude and not helpful. Told her to come back once she had a job..she just wanted information about how to apply for it. That's all. It's not like she wanted to open one that same day. It took a great deal of effort to close my accounts and then the rep I was working with sent me up front to stand in line. Not the way to do it.
