    Hand-Cut Fries

The food was very good! Not a ton of variety on the menu, but I don't think that's a huge deal. The ice cream was also delicious. The food comes out quick and the patio was a cute little spot. I had been wanting to try to this spot for a while and I am glad we did!

Fun casual spot with decent burgers and hot dogs. The highlight is their soft serve ice cream cones that you can add flavor bursts to. And they're only $1 after 8pm!

Double Oklahoma Burgers, fries, and Onion Rings

Finally visited Wells Roadside for a late Saturday night dinner after a fun afternoon at Art-A-Whirl with my best friend. It was the perfect Saturday night meal. The weather matched the vibes of the restaurant and just screamed summer to me. The setup of the place is so cool too. It gave me total drive-in/backyard summer hangout vibes. We ordered the double Oklahoma smash burgers, onion rings, and fries. LOVEDDDD IT!!! That burger was scrumptious. The amount of onions made me do a happy dance. However, after bite two or three, we realized we forgot to ask for pickles. Seriously, that would've made it elite for me. Guess l'll just have to go back for round two oh so soon.....like next week (shhh!). The fries were good, but I liked the onion rings even better. The portions were huge too, honestly enough for two meals for me because I needed to save room for ice cream... which I definitely didn't need, but my eyes told me otherwise. Tried the monthly Cookie Monster shake and WOW....happy dance number two was happening! The burst of flavors was complete yummmmmoOO. Full transparency here I'm not even a huge icecream person, but this was great with all the different flavors and chunks of pure goodness. My bestie got the piña colada shake and a root beer float. Both were delicious. Ordering is at the window or kiosk, then you pick up your food when your number is called. Seating and parking were both easy when we went. There's a small parking lot plus residential street parking nearby. Also... don't forget to sign up for the rewards program (like seriously....we got $5 off the first time).

Food was good. I went with the salmon sandwich. Fries are ordered separately. It's def a family spot so expect lots of families with kids. Cool roadside, walk up window, has that old school feel. Service was fine. We asked for two orders of fries but only one was brought out. We decided not to order more since it takes a lil while, not too bothered by it. Our server brought us a complimentary order anyway which was nice. The fries are actually really good. Parking lot is small and side street parking can get full. Very popular place in the summer.

Vibes: This such a cute spot especially in the summer! We love to take our 2 year old shepherd mix here for a pup cup and it is very dog friendly. Food: I love the fried with benefits! It is there fries with burger meat, onion, pickles, and sauce and it is so good and filling. I also always get a strawberry shake. It's all very reasonably priced and delicious. Service: even when there is a long line the are so quick to get your food out after ordering 10/10

What a cool place. Stopped by for lunch. The six of us had lots of options for seating: ordering was easy, food was quick and so fresh. The fry sauce was a hit with everyone. Burgers were so juicy and packed with flavor. Got a dog for the littles. It was gone in no time.

Stopped here for lunch on an early Sunday afternoon. They weren't too busy when walked up but the line to order quickly grew as there was only one person taking orders. They have some daily specials as well as Happy hour during the week. They are running a Viking Sunday special with all day HH deals which is nice. We ordered- Bramble Mule $5.99 Stargazer Margarita $5.99 Vegan Single Smash $10.49 ADD LETTUCE $$$0.49 ADD RAW ONION $$$0.49 ADD PICKLES $$$0.49 Hand-Cut Fries $3.99 Smashed Jimmy $5.99 The drinks were decent. The fries were good. I personally love hand-cut fries. My mom got the smashed jimmy and liked it. I got the vegan single smash and it was okay, the bottom of the bun was a weird texture and I generally didn't like the taste of it but the patty and added toppings were good. Prices weren't too bad. They had a lot of seating options and food came out fairly fast. They have a smaller parking lot otherwise it's street parking in the neighborhood.

We went here on a Saturday evening for a quick dinner with our 2 year old son. It was a family friendly restaurant which was nice! He loved the hand-cut french fries with his grilled cheese. They have some different sauces; dill, fry sauce, garlic mayo. My hubby and I thought the burgers were really good. I like that you can add extra toppings free of charge. The soft serve shake was super good too. The backyard bbq dog was a bit messy, but we shared it and liked it. If in the area and in the mood for a good burger with a shake this is a great spot. They also offered some cocktails which is awesome. I bet this place is great in the summer time.

We had a great experience at Wells! My brother used to live in Napa so we would go to Gott's Roadside a ton - and this place reminds me of it. Classic fare, classic roadside/drive-up vibes, affordable yet delicious. AMBIANCE/SEATING I loveeeee that they kept the drive-up/drive-in feel of this spot! It was so well re-done. They have way more covered and outdoor seating than I thought! I like that there are both options provided. The outdoor seating is especially comfy and vibey! Also love that they are dog-friendly (and even have adorable dog friendly options on the menu!) ORDERING Ordering is simple - at the window, with the menu on screens above. Pick up window is around the corner, and you can see the team making your food as you wait. FOOD/DRINK/DESSERTS We of course had to get burgers! I am so thankful they have a gluten free bun option. The fries were delish, and I loooove that they have so many fun sauces to pick from! I was bummed their ranch wasn't house made, but loved the house made fry sauce. And of course, had to get some soft serve! I love the flavor blast options - it was so fun and made the soft serve look cool with pink and blue twists. PRICE You can't beat this price point! A very affordable spot for families, couples, and dog owners alike.

Wells Roadside is in an interesting location. It is right on the frontage road of Highway 7 next to some houses...however it just seems out of place at first glance.I was excited to try their Waygu smash burgers after checking them out online. I arrived about five minutes before opening, but they were kind enough to let me place my order early. The place was clean and very much inviting. You can stay in your vehicle or sit out on their patio.I was in a hurry this day and decided to grab takeout. The food came out quickly.I had ordered the Wells Smash burger and a side of hand cut fries. I thought it strange that I was the first customer of the day, but the fries weren't hot. I was in a rush and couldn't wait around. The smash burger itself was meh.I really liked the flavor of the bun, but it got soggy pretty fast.Maybe eating it fresh on-site would make a difference. I'll definitely give them another shot and try a different burger next time.

This is a fun place, but don't expect anything remarkable food-wise. True to its name, the burger-joint menu is the kind of thing you'd expect on a road trip where you're just hungry for greasy-spoon grub that you'll eat in the car. Order from one of two windows depending on whether or not you're just getting ice cream or drinks. There are also two food-type-specific pickup windows to keep track of. You can then eat at the outdoor tables, some of which are under a roof with just-in-case heaters. Or I guess there is tacit encouragement to eat in your car? We got smashburgers which we felt were average. They just come with cheese & any extra toppings come at a surcharge. They don't have any particular sauce. We also got fries and were impressed with the quantity, but they are kind of stringy and not flavored particularly well. We got a shake and a root beer float that we liked. The menu has a number of soft-serve ice cream options, something for dogs, and a THC section. It's got ambiance for sure, and that's probably enough reason to give it a try and hang out for a bit. I could see myself doing that again at some point.

    The Salad & Hand-Cut Fries

Wells Roadside is a fun stop! They have good vibes, quick food, and reasonable prices! I recommend it for a quicker meal than the other Craft-and-Crew establishments and a more casual one. FOOD: I got their salmon salad ("The Salad" with salmon) and fries. The fries were really above average and the salad was a filling and well crafted salad. I was impressed with the value as salads tend to be overpriced, which is a deterrence from eating out. AMBIANCE: fun, casual vibes. Their patio is covered and has walls so it feels outside without the humidity/chill (depending on the time of year) PARKING: they have a small lot then there is street parking nearby SERVICE: helpful and friendly, as is the case with all Craft-and-Crew establishments.

Wells Smash Double Burger and fries with root beer

The Midwest in and out burger! When pulling into this restaurant, I was convinced it was a drive in. Then realized you needed to order in person with a cashier. The menu had great American classics like burgers, hotdogs, fries and shakes! I was excited to try the Wells burger which was a waygu smash burger with cheese. The cashier asked if we wanted to try the Wells sauce which was similar to a raising canes sauce although I personally didn't mind it too much. The downside to this restaurant is the outdoor seating only. It was a hot summer day and although there is fans on the ceiling it felt like it was only circulating the hot air, not cooling at all! Overall, burger and fries were really good! Would definitely try this place again but maybe on a not so hot day.

I immediately started to worry. Unfortunately my worries have slowly " come true" ...and with an extremely upset heart, Crossroads has changed. Scott and Stu had dedication and sheer love of cooking and baking with the BEST of ingredients and exquisite rare perfect use of spices. Their flavors in everything they touched were some of the VERY BEST I have experienced nationally and in my home state of NY where my father taught Biochemistry in the Bronx at Einstein Med School (1955-1980) and where my intense passion for Delicatessen cuisine originated. Coming almost daily to Crossroads truly made my day! I adored EVERYTHING they created. Even shipped a large lemon coconut cake to mom's beloved 90 year old boss at Scarsdale Medical Center 8 years ago! Today: Their rye bread with caraway seeds was identical to Grossinger's. Now almost zero flavor. The broasted chicken if served hot fresh out of the cooker is still excellent. Some of the original spices gone. The lemon coconut cake has zero real lemon flavor just deep yellow coloring, Their pastrami and corned beef also lost 1/3 to 1/2 of their original flavor plus the size of the sandwiches 1/3-1/2 the original size. The new main dishes are almost tasteless. Their original recipes for matzo ball soup, etc are still good - - vary 8-10 rating. They no longer use as much/ perhaps any butter in their coffee cake " breads" which used to be a 10. Many cookies and tiny pastries in the same display case are still good. Compared to many other restaurants today they are now just " an ok". Gone are the days when Crossroads Deli was " TRULY SPECTACULAR "......

Today I tried their Roast Beef on Weck, which is carved roast beef on a type of roll called a Weck (a Kaiser-style roll topped with coarse salt and caraway seeds.). The restaurant was busy, and this is not a trendy place! I'd be surprised if there was anyone in the restaurant who was not of Medicare age (which also describes me; I'm not being ageist, just truthful). This is something that is available for lunch, during the week (not on weekends). Previously, I wanted to order this before. It was at the beginning of the lunch hour, so unfortunately the end pieces were cooked well-done. I asked if they would cut from the center, which is much more rare, but they wouldn't do that. This time, we came later and I could see that the roast beef was gloriously rare, which is what I like. The sandwich was quite enjoyable because it was juicy and flavorful. It comes with a side of cole slaw which is vinegar based (which I liked, but isn't traditional in the Midwest). It's difficult to find good, rare roast been in the Twin Cities, so this was another good find. My wife had the matzo ball soup, which remains high quality. The beef on weck sandwich (with coleslaw) was nearly $20, which is a bit on the expensive side. The service is spotty. It depends upon who is your waitstaff person (I knew it would be slow based on our previous experience with this person).
