She asked where I wanted her to focus the massage on, and she really listened. She could also tell where I had a lot of knots and asked me if I'd like her to focus on that area. I started with a 60 min massage, and then changed it to 90 mins so that she could get rid of the tightness in my shoulders/upper back and also have extra time to work on the rest of my body. I will say Ashley can do a relaxing light massage, but she's really good at giving a practical knot-and-tightness-removing one. I went in with discomfort and came out feeling so much better and lighter. A hot stone massage also came with it! I highly recommend giving this place a try and especially having Ashley as your therapist. She's very mindful of the body and knows what she's doing. The massage itself was not a modality I have ever had before; there was no stroking but instead just pressing and holding for long periods of time which did not do much to relax me or loosen up my tight muscles. I definitely won't be back. My massage was a couple months ago and I delayed in writing this review because I convinced myself it was all in my head, but after reading similar reviews I feel it's important to give my experience a voice so other woman are aware of potential risks.

I was promised when I joined that I could cancel at any time, and any paid for services are mine to use. Well I just canceled and was told I had 60 days to use up 5 services or I would lose them. My only option was to convert them to gift cards at a cost of $10 per card (!) and had to BEG the manager to extend the expiration to give me a year to use them. Do not believe what they tell you when you sign up. I would recommend using independent massage therapists so they are not being scammed by business practices of these chains.
