Upon arriving the check in was fast, Katy checked me in, was super kind, and informative. I had a cup of water before my massage and Sierra came to grab me pretty quickly. Prior to my massage she checked in with me regarding what I wanted work on, the intensity of the massage, deep tissue massage, and the use of hot stones. I think she did a good job of informing me of what was happening as it was happening. My one comment would be a little bit of small talk to help ease customers into comfort if they're new to massages. I will say the unique thing about this massage was it felt like she utilized holistic approach (really utilizing the feedback of the muscles / body to find spots of tension or knots) to working with the body and not just massaging at a hard level. I usually leave massages sore and relaxed although I left here not super sore but my muscles and body felt relaxed. I was impressed with Sierra's ability to find the knots or tight spots and to work on them in a way that's wasn't only painful (a few spots were but that's normal). I got a deal on my massage as it was my first one which was extremely affordable and likely started a new little splurge for future me to continue caring for my body in a way which feels productive and healing. Outside of this experience I have also come to Wellspring to do a free yoga class which was extremely helpful in releasing body tension and relaxing. There is also tea and water for customers. Overall, I think that the employees at Wellspring care for their customers and truly want to help. This is shown in how they talk, present, the engagement that's shown, and the hard work they do. I would highly recommend coming here as massages are fairly priced and the employees truly seem to care.

She had been seen at other physical therapy centers but never seemed to improve much. After it was recommended that she seek treatment at Wellspring she had an evaluation and has begun treatment. She says that she feels like they are REALLY helping her and for the first time has not had to take Ibuprophen every moring for pain! Apparently they incorporate a "holistic, whole body approach" using hands on and various tools to also address years of muscles tightening or weakening. She added that she has found the staff (PT's, PTA's, Physician Assistant, front office) work exceedingly well together as a team helping, encouraging, supporting and reinforcing her progress and simplifing scheduling and insurance issues. Contacted on a Friday for pricing information, received a response Monday morning -- "The initial acupuncture is $110 (50$ for the exam and 60$ treatment), this appointment takes 1.5 hours. Acupuncture after is 60$/treatment and it takes an hour. Massage is $60/hour." Was also told at this time that you needed to be seen by their chiropractor in order to get massage or acupuncture services. I'll end up using a massage service and an acupuncturist at two different places, as I have no interest in seeing a chiropractor.

I expected it to feel good but I didn't expect it to change the course of my pregnancy. I had been having at least two headaches a week up until that point. I told Julie about this and she made sure to work the tension in my neck and shoulders. After the massage, I have not had another headache. Julie also explained when something she was doing could be done by my husband to help me get through the rest of my pregnancy and labor. It was really nice to go home with some tips! I loved that she used coconut oil for the massage instead of something that was artificially scented and heavily oiled. My skin felt and smelled amazing after the therapy. First of all, the massage itself was one of the best I've ever had. Relaxing, for sure. But, more importantly, Heather really worked all the tension and knots out of my muscles. One of those rare therapeutic massages that goes deep enough to address all your issues but still leaves you feeling so good. Secondly, it's the most convenient way to get a massage. I made the appointment via text then I just went home after work and she was there waiting for me (right on time). She brings the whole set up, table, electric blanket, towels, music, oil. She even has this oil dispenser thing attached to her so it feels like she never takes her hands off you the entire time. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Huan Ma. I had been experiencing foot pain and associated…read moredifficulty walking for 6 months prior to seeing him. I was initially diagnosed with metatarsalgia by an orthopedic doctor. He prescribed me foot exercises and metatarsal pads and neither of these ideas was helpful. I then went to a physical therapist and completed all prescribed exercises and this gave me no relief. It was then that I came to Acupuncture Health Center to see Dr. Huan Ma. I was skeptical of acupuncture but willing to try anything to see if I could avoid getting cortisone injections and/or surgery to resolve my nerve pain. The results were impressive. By the 5th acupuncture visit, my nerve pain was decreased by 90%, and it was totally resolved by the 8th visit. Near the end of these sessions, I mentioned to Dr. Ma that I needed to have toe spur surgery due to pain between my 4th and 5th toe due to a toe spur. I had been evaluated by an orthopedic doctor for this a few years ago and was told that this was the only treatment option. Dr. Ma informed me that he could resolve the toe spur pain through acupuncture. I decided to give this a try and it was resolved in another 8 visits. I am thrilled with the results and now have saved both the cost and down time that would have accompanied cortisone shots and surgery to resolve both of my foot problems. Thank you, Dr. Ma!
