Absolute scam!! I made an appointment for a spa and pool cleaning and pool 101 for a Friday. I received no text or email notification. So I even called to double check the time. Frank showed up on the wrong day....he then let himself into our pool house and got started without me on the property. He didn't seem to know how to work our older Penatair system. He struggled with the controls then told me the jacuzzi was broken and might need $6-7k of repairs. He said he heater was also possibly broken and that he would do research on the parts and text me a quote. K never heard back. Since what Frank told me was the opposite of our pool inspector before we bought the home, I decided to have a second opinion. Jacuzzi is working great and heater works. Everything Frank said was wrong. I later went to a local pool and spa store and mentioned my experience and was told he is known in the areanfor scamming people. DO NOT go with this guy! read more

LEFT ME WORSE OFF THAN I WAS. My pool heater had a small gas leak and was red-tagged by the gas company, although it was actually still operational. My home warranty company had trouble finding a vendor over the Christmas/New Year's holiday but finally found this guy, and I'm sorry they did. Frank, the owner, came out reasonably quickly after I paid the $150 service call fee upfront. He indicated that a part would be required to replace the part that was leaking gas. Well, long story short. After many delays, ostensibly waiting for the part, someone (not Frank) came out and disassembled the heater but did not have the replacement part. Then I had to pay $600 upfront for the future part and service, which never came. After several phone discussions, a no-show service call, and a threat to sue, Frank promised to refund my money; I finally was able to recover $431.83 of the 594.58 I had paid him. After talking to him on the phone again, he promised to send the balance but never did. In the end, the gutted heater could not be repaired by anyone since the person who disassembled it took the parts with him and left me a gutted pool heater (see photo). It cost me $4000 plus dollars to replace the entire unit. Don't use this company. They are unreliable and not to be trusted. I would give them zero stars. FYI, I am NOT one of these folks who only give bad reviews. I am a trusted Yelp reviewer with four years of Yelp Elite Squad experience, and they don't award these badges easily. Things started off great, but after about 8-10 months Frank went dark. Would not respond to calls or texts. A few months in I paid him a year upfront and he had a few months left on that contract, so he walked away with several hundred dollars for service he did not complete. read more

Do not use this company. He never explained the breakdown on his quote. Poor communication. I originally got his information from Aqua Quip. He texted me. Told it will be $400 to clean pool. Wanted me to drain pool (his job) I told him I did not have a working pump. He came Kate and took 5 mins to install pump. Came back 2 hours later explaining that he wasn't going to drain the rest of the pool till tomorrow since it was late. Reassured me it was going to get done. Then he proceeds to tell me that he requires $200 deposit (red flag) but I paid him. He tells me he would be here by 10 am next morning. Texted him at 9:15 am to confirm. Well he proceeds to tell me he can't get it done today as we agreed. I asked for my refund. He tells I'm only getting $100. He went back n forth And he sent $50 more. He is sketchy. Two visits accomplished nothing. They were "no show" for seven appointments. They text from two different phone numbers, so it was difficult to put everything in time order, but here it is. 5-15: came out to analyze issue. 5-16: said they would respond "today" to schedule return visit. 5-23: I finally call to ask what is going on, since it had been five days since "today". "We were just getting ready to call you. Will come out Tuesday" 5-28: No show (#1) due to "broken vehicle". 5-29: came out but parts replaced did not solve the problem. Said they would be back out "tomorrow". 5-30: No show (#2). 5-31: The earliest we can come out is 6-3. 6-3: Another no show (#3). We will come out tomorrow at 3pm. 6-4: No show (#4). Will be out tomorrow. 6-5: No show (#5). 6-6: What is going on? Response "We will be out Saturday after business hours. 6-10: No show (#6) "We tried to call you but no one answered." My response "Then why didn't you leave a message?" No answer to that. 6-11: We will be out 1pm tomorrow. 6-12: No show (#7). Have not heard from them since. On 6-14 disputed all their charges on my credit card and warned them that if they do not come out and pick up the parts they installed by error by 6-26 I will consider the parts abandoned. I did not drain it for the final visit because ... dang ... its 400 gallons of water. They promised to come out and remove their heater and put my original back also, which never happened. read more

Highly recommend Last Minute Spa dude. Frank and Marisa came out ON TIME to drain, detail, fill, and balance our spa. My wife and I have never owned a spa before, so needed educating on how to maintain and use it.
