She called me sweetie and within 2 minutes felt like it was her job to give me her "shpeal" as she put it about bring my CT scan and that I needed to do that and not always does their system work or can they log into Wellstar. I was trying to explain to her that it was an old CT scan and then she stated "Well then we don't need that and it doesn't matter" after cracking her knuckles and berating me. She was snappy and rude. My husband even was shocked at how she was speaking to me. I told her I would speak to my Dr about these matters at which time she just looked at me like I was being rude. She didn't realize at all that I have been in the medical field for 30 plus years and would never speak to a patient this way. She continued to talk to me like she was my Dr! at which time I again said, I will speak to my Dr about these things. Then she kind of laughed and walked out of the room with a huff. I did mention this to my very wonderful Dr. who was very professional and listened. I will stay a patient. Even when checking me out the MA came in, rolled her tongue over her teeth, cracked her neck with a head roll, and proceeded to ask me (thank God) yes or no questions about getting an MRI. Thank God I'm very well versed in all of this procedure so it was short. She really needs a class on speaking to patients that are in pain and new to the facility. And, she is NOT a Dr. she has no right to be acting this way at all as a medical assistant

He diagnosed my sprained hamstring and set me on the road to recovery, allaying my fears. I've never had a problem scheduling appointments. On Sunday, concerned about my black, blue and purple bruise, I went on line to make an appointment. Whatever I entered didn't jive, and a pop up appeared saying someone from the office would get back to me. "Yeah, right," I thought, assuming I'd just call myself, during regular business hours. To my delight mid-afternoon Sunday I did receive a return call and the operator was able to get me in, first thing Monday.

I went in needing real help -- a torn ligament in my hand and PT for a ruptured Achilles -- and left feeling unheard, rushed, and without progress. Dr. Jonas' nurse was amazing, but the actual treatment did nothing for my thumb. A cast and an overpriced brace gave me no improvement in movement or sensation. Over three visits, I spent barely 15 minutes with the doctor, and each time I was brushed off. My last visit ended with him rushing me out the door without even referring me to PT to regain use of my thumb. I paid premium prices for zero results. The Achilles PT wasn't any better. I paid for an hour but usually got 30 minutes of exercises I could've done at home with their app. No real support. No real recovery. Every patient deserves quality care -- and that's not what I received here.

A few years ago prior to extensive shoulder surgery, I Googled "best shoulder physical therapy near me." What I ended up finding was the best group of therapists I could hope for. Since then, both my husband and I have continued to see them to heal from more shoulder surgeries and my two hip surgeries in the past six months. Fortunately these hip surgeries occurred in two calendar years because my insurance only allows 20 sessions per year -- period. (Don't get me started on the lunacy of that!) I work with Laura V. most often and Amanda as my therapists with DJ or Abigail as my usual aide. From the front office staff to everyone in the therapeutic area, everyone is so professional and kind. Should you have any need for physical therapy (and who doesn't?!) and live in the Acworth area, this is your place. I have referred them to so many friends, and I am happy to post this review.

I started seeing Jason because of a bone spur, just behind my achilleas tendon, I developed due to…read morerunning. It was very painful and at the time could not even run 100 meters without a high level of pain. I was told by an orthopedic surgeon to try every possible treatment before doing surgery because the involved detaching and reattaching the achilleas in order to grind the bone spur down. At my initial consultation with Jason, he explained to me a number of ways he could treat my ailment. He suggest to first start with deep tissue pressure, microcurrent treatment, and cold laser treatment of the area. After seeing Jason for a several weeks, I was able to run 2 miles pain free again. I could not be more grateful for Jason in giving back to me the ability to run. Jason and his staff are all very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions. I found myself once again needing some relief and began searching for one in my new community. My initial search online took me to another chiropractic clinic in Cartersville. That ended up being a really bad experience because of two key issues... 1) a long wait time with other patients getting preference over myself and 2) even though the doctor assigned to me was quite cordial he used brute force during my adjustment like I had never experienced before. I walked out knowing I needed to find a better one. Fortunately, that lead me to Dr. Sean Lotterer at New Life Health Center. I got prompt attention at the front desk and before the adjustment he did an extensive evaluation of what I needed including X-Rays of my spine. I learned that my previous diagnosis of bulging discs was getting worse. No wonder I was feeling the pain and having headaches nearly every day. Being an experienced patient whom had received care from numerous chiropractors over the years I could tell that Sean knew his stuff. He did all the customary adjustments but added some that I had received in the distant past that were quite helpful. I walked out knowing that I finally found a chiropractor that I could trust. I have been back twice a week for over a month now and I am feeling great. I'm learning various stretches and yoga techniques that I hadn't been exposed to and they seem to help as well. Dr. Sean's plan is working and with his care I am confident this 66 year old spine of mine is going to be just fine. I'm hoping I can get back to playing golf.
