One of the worst Wendy's I've been to. Ordered 28$ worth of food... spicy nuggets: they were old/stale as all fuck and there were 3 spicy nuggets and 3 regular nuggets in the 6 piece. (Morons) Sour cream and chive potato: no sour cream and the baked potato was pretty much flat they smushed it down to nothing. Honestly looked like they dropped it on the ground before giving it to me. Bacon jalapeño burger: ice cold, tasted like it was cooked a week ago... yet, fresh never frozen?? Pub fries: also ice cold. The melted cheese was basically solid cheese it was so cold. Chili: brown water. No meat, no vegetables, it was literally just brown water. (Flushed it down the toilet....where it belongs!!) The Abington Wendy's doesn't do the hamburger chain any justice. 3 weeks ago we ate there and after a long wait to place our order inside the wait was just as long to get the order, which wasn't complete. We ate there again yesterday. There seems to be a lack of management to oversee the place. The napkin/straw/ketchup area was a mess, with napkins, straws, etc. strewn about the dirty area and both ketchup dispensers were empty. The soda machines were no better; one wouldn't dispense ice and both were dirty, with ice cubes and water on the floor in front of them. During both visits the floor and some tables were littered with fries and generally not clean. At 2 PM the place was quiet, which should've allowed one of the help to clean up a bit. After the 1st visit a manager responded to my email complaint - over 2 weeks after the fact. We're done with the place. read more

Even though it's fast food, and cheap already, I shouldn't be charged more or less depending on which Wendy's I choose to visit. Being that I live nowhere near a Wendy's, I probably shouldn't be complaining, but the prices on certain items are a good amount more than at the nearby Whitman Wendy's and most others around. Now, I'm not shaming on the Abington Wendy's, but stained shirts (really visible.... it looked like a Frosty mess!) and no attempt to keep cleanliness in the kitchen is unacceptable. I literally saw an employee throw something across the kitchen at the drive thru window. The whole atmosphere of this place was lacking, not to suffice for the long wait in the drive thru, which I am sure that I was not the only upset patron. Food is fine and the people working seem friendly, but the training definitely lacks. I would definitely pay less, spend less time, and get better service at the Whitman Wendy's about ten minutes away. There's just no reason to come to this one because there's nothing outstanding and much to be desired. Even though there isn't McD's or BK in Abington it doesn't give the Wendy's an excuse to not have their act together (which is a lot of the time the case... whenever there is no competition, a restaurant or store doesn't feel the need to have their "A" game all the time, which is not right!) 2 stars for this Wendy's. This Wendy's was very recently closed, stripped out, and completely remodeled; and I've now been there twice since the re-opening. It's quite nice inside. Much more modern, updated environment than the Wendy's of old. Both times I've ordered the same thing: a #5 combo medium sized, which consists of a "son of baconator" burger, medium fries, and medium drink for a little more that 7 dollars. Both times the burger was hot and juicy, appearing that it was very recently cooked if not cooked to order. The bacon was hot and crispy, which I love. Nothing worse than soggy, chewy bacon. The fries were hot and crisp, if not a bit too salty. But certainly not old fries...again another thing I hate about fast food restaurants: fries that have been sitting around for a while. The Coke Freestyle machines are very cool. First time out I just got a plain Coke Zero. Today I opted for a diet strawberry lemonade. I love that there are dozens of drink options available. Service both times was friendly, although a little slow for "fast food". But the food came out hot and ffresh, so it was worth the 3 or so minute wait. It's apparent they take cleanliness very seriously. Both times during the lunch rush the dining room was neat and orderly. During my 20 minute visit today, I observed a staff member coming around twice in that time span to wipe tables, arrange seats, and pick up anything on the floors. Hey, it's fast food. Go to the one in Whitman on 18. This place consistently screwed up my order the last few times I've come here. Manager was rude even when I was extremely pleasant about them forgetting to add things to my burger or forgetting a portion of my order completely. I used to work in fast food and I know when it's busy it's tough to get things right, but it's your job. I came here for some lunch with my brother and my mom. I did not know i was going to wait so long for my food. We ordered two 4 for 4's one with a crispy chicken sandwich and one with a plain hamburger. We also ordered a #1 with a diet pepsi. The order was horribly wrong, we got a sprite instead of a pepsi, 2 cheeseburgers when we should have got a crispy chicken sandwich and a PLAIN hamburger. Wendy's Wendy's is my top choice for fast food. The food is quite delicious and does not make you feel at all like you ate fast food. A quick, filling, and tasty meal can be had with $8 or less at Wendy's. The Restaurant itself is surprisingly clean for a fast food restaurant and has a contemporary atmosphere. I had a spicy chicken sandwich with Fries and a coke at Wendy's. The sandwich and fries were flavorful and filling, and the meal was just under $8. I definitely recommend Wendy's read more

Went inside on a Wednesday afternoon at 4:15 PM, 1 person ahead of us and about 5 cars at the drive through, so not that busy. They filled the order for the person in front of us and completely ignored my wife and I standing there. An older woman in a black jacket, facing us with her back to the drive through window spent a significant amount of time telling another employee about what upcoming shifts she would be "working". After an extended length of time, I said THANK YOU loudly enough for that woman to hear us and began to walk out. She made no attempt to stop her yapping or make any attempt to greet us or take our order. I started reading other reviews of this location and customer service does not appear to be a priority. I would give this Wendy's negative stars if I could. I recently visited the drive through and they gave me the wrong salad. It was a drive through, so I didn't realize until I returned home and realized I couldn't eat the salad they gave me due to a food allergy. I reluctantly got back in my car and drove back to swap it but upon returning, they closed early due to a gas leak. Which is not their fault so that's not why I gave a low rating. The low rating was for the poor attitude and poor customer service of the manager who explained why they were closing and when I said it was an incorrect order, instead of at least offering a refund or telling me they'd fix it when they could, she said "I'm not dealing with this" and walked away. Not the first poor experience I've had here, but up until now I've written it off as "it's just a fast food place, can't have any expectations."
