Okay, I'm not big on reviewing fast food restaurants. However, it seems like they get so much hate that when I have a good experience I feel like I have an obligation to document it. I was in Anderson related to a project I'm working on. We stopped at Wendy's for a quick break after getting done and before heading back to Indy. The order was simple. However, I'll just state that all aspects of this visit were quite pleasant. Service was timely. The order was correct. However, quite honestly, it was the people who made this an experience I'd recommend. They were friendly and helpful. They actually made me want to return on a future visit to Anderson. To be honest, it was somewhat unexpected and quite refreshing. While I wouldn't dare call this a 5-star experience, it was easily a 4-star experience and definitely the kind of experience that would have me stopping my next time through. Went in to order lunch. Counter person needs more training. Food was sub par. Hamburger meat looked and tasted 3 days old. Kids nuggets and all fries were cold. Do better!! Food is too expensive to not be able to eat it. read more

This was crazzzzy! I try not to leave negative comments for the sake of the business, however, first the machine wouldn't swipe my card, and the woman told me that it must be the weather because it's been happening a lot lately. Like, what? But that was OK because I paid with cash. Then I got my food which was a spicy nugget and a junior bacon cheeseburger. The nuggets were turned upside down in the bag, ice cold, and hard. Then the junior bacon cheeseburger had burnt but cold bacon on it and the patty was as cold as the lettuce. This was wild. And I didn't start eating the food until I got on the highway (69) so it was too late by then. Go somewhere else. read more

Went to the lobby doors at 9:06 am (lobby opens at 9am) and multiple sets of doors were still locked. We decided to walk to the drive through and the employee who answered was rude and was mad we walked into the drive through. He told us the doors were unlocked and we told him that we were just over at the doors and they were locked. He said "Well they're unlocked now" in a rude tone. What a jerk. I understand Wendy's is not the best job ever but there's no need to be so rude customers. read more

Used to like Wendy's better than any other fast food burger, but they ain't what they used to be. Have frequented Wendys less and less often as time goes by. Stopped here this evening and remembered why I rarely go to Wendys anymore. They got our order wrong. We ordered 3 different burgers and 2 orders of fries. We had to pull forward and wait for our order. Finally got it and we checked it before we left and we were missing a fry. Had to get out of the car and complained and they gave us an order of fries. We went home and the burgers were still nice and warm and juicy, but the fries were old, cold and dried up. I forgot this place has real problems in getting an order right and serving good hot, fresh fries. Doubt that I'll give them another chance. read more

Stopped by for a quick cup of coffee. I waited 3 minutes to place my order, and 5 minutes for them to take my money. After paying they asked me to pull up and wait for my order. The waiting place looks directly in to the restaurant dining room. In the dining room two employees were pacing while talking on their phone. After waiting for 10 minutes I was pretty tired of waiting so I headed into the restaurant for a refund. I was informed that it wasn't the managers policy to issue refunds. I asked for a receipt and they told me they didn't have any receipt papers. I had a great affinity for this restaurant as my family ate there for years. It was a real treat for us kids. For many years I have truly been a fan of Wendy's. The burgers used to be meaty and juicy. Things seemed to have changed at least at this location. The double with cheese I had today was the worst burger I've ever eaten. The meat was flat, salty, and greasy. It was not the "juicy" delicious burger for which Wendy's is well-known. The fries were overly salty, greasy, and as crisp as a wet noodle. Disgusting. I will mark this up as a one time bad experience, but I am now in no hurry to return to Wendy's. On a positive note, the lobby was clean, there was nice music playing at an appropriate level, and the cashier was friendly and welcoming. There is also free wifi. read more

If I could give it less than one star I would. My husband is a semi driver, walked to Wendy on Scatterfield rd on 10/12 and was told that they would not take his order because he was walking and not driving. And they was $15.00 per hour. BS read more

Picked up two salads from the drive thru. The Spicey Cesar salads romaine lettuce had dirt on the chopped pieces. Maybe half a teaspoon of dirt. I through it away. Too far to drive back. There should be some quality control. Wash your vegetables Wendys! read more

I have always loved Wendy's burgers, fries, and Frosty's, but this Wendy's has improved my fast food experience even more. They are always quick and provide accurate orders. I have never waited in line there more than five minutes. The excellent customer service just makes visits to Wendy's even more pleasant. read more

I was third car in line. Ordered chicken nuggets, paid, guy said can you pull up we are waiting on fresh nuggets. I pulled up and watched 8 cars go by. Looked at receipt and I had waited 10 minutes. Called and told manager and she ask for my ticket number and said sorry I'll bring it right out. 10 minutes later I got nice sort of warm nuggets with cold fries Great read more

The building is nice and the frosty's are always good. That's about all the positive this Wendy's has going for them. The chicken always taste like its a day old, no matter what time of day. The staff are rude and the managers are even worse. No customer service found here. I've even complained to the corporate office and received nothing. Not even a coupon. Not that I wanted one. If there were more food options in Pendleton I would not have given them so many chances. After last night I will never go there again. Chicken sandwich tasted like it was a week old. I spit out the first bite. Ate some of the fries and spent the rest of the night in the bathroom throwing up. Don't eat here. Save your money and go else where. read more
