Fresh food, nice staff, regular 5 guys decor/vibes... Visit my brother for All-Star weekend and of course we had to get burgers and fries from five guys. I actually don't think I have had five guys in over two years. I didn't even know the difference between a little and a double... If that's how you say it lol - back to the food, everything was delicious. We actually ordered on the app, came in the store picked up Our meal, drove 10 minutes back home, and the food was still hot! I really enjoyed the fact that they did not bag the fries and food until we arrived, it insured freshness. * Sorry I forgot to take a pic, I had to eat before my camera this time. ~definitely worth the calories

First time at 5 guys!I like that is very bright, open and you can actually see everything that's going on in the kitchen and serving area. The burger itself is the same taste and consistency as steak n shake and grilled fresh, fries made fresh as well. I did not want a bun so i ordered a Burger "bowl"; 2 patties with grilled onions, green peppers and pickles all stacked on top. A1 steak sauce drizzled on the patties. They have the option of a lettuce wrap. The burger meat was good, they gave plenty of toppings and they fries were heavily dusted with Cajun spice. They have hotdogs, chicken and shakes. If you have a peanut allergy, don't even stop inside! There is a station with a box of shelled peanuts that you can grab a small bowl of and snack while waiting for you fresh made order and st least the fries appear to be fries in peanut oil. The service was good, both team members I interacted with were helpful and polite. The lady who appeared to be managing the kitchen was like a Gordon Ramsey as she monitored everything going on until she called out you order and handed it to you with a smile and pleasant salutation. Quite a shock for establishment on east Washington Street! I usually hate going anywhere in this area and will go out of my way to even the same chain in a different location than E Washington so the service here was impressive and much appreciated. The dinning are was a nice size with plenty of tables and space in between. I will have to go back and try some chicken now!

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and strawberry shake. With a regular size fry. I love that they make everything fresh to order. One of my favorites is the complimentary peanuts. Customer service is great at this location , very clean , and my order took about 7-10 minutes. The lighting and dining area is great if you want to sit in and eat. The shake is legit one of the best shakes I've had. Can't wait to go back and try every flavor. FYI they have a bacon flavored shake.

Want some good fries and a good burger go to five guys they not only care about their service. They care about their community, the students and teachers that work so hard.

I love five guys, but this location seems to make a lot of mistakes with my orders. I'm not sure if it's just my luck or a recurring experience for many. Overall, five guys is a great place to chow down on a deliciously juicy burger and some fries. I love that you can customize everything from the type of burger to the toppings and the seasonings on the fries. Last time we went, the fries were underdone and tasted like the fryer hadn't been cleaned out so I didn't eat them, but the burger was delicious although they forgot my onions. When I have ordered for pickup there have been a couple times where I was given the wrong order or had to wait extra long for my food, but when we ate in last time we didn't have too many issues.

    Little Cheeseburger

Don't order any condiments on your burger, unless you enjoy having a soggy bun. The bun was basically disintegrating from the ridiculous amount of mustard they put on my sandwich. I've tried to give the benefit of the doubt and still revisit, but this happens every single time I come to this location.

I have never tried Five Guy's and we had followed my brother back and forth from church to move and park a couple of his trucks. He wanted to know where we wanted to eat so I said, "Five Guy's ". My husband ordered a cheeseburger with Mayo. His was ok. My brother and I ordered Bacon Cheeseburgers deluxe. We ordered the large $5.00 French fries to split. Tony and I had large drinks which are ten cents more than the smaller size. My brother ordered the shake which is $3.99. Now here is why I gave two stars. My brothers bacon cheeseburger had no bacon on it. Our hamburger buns were soggy. The large fries for $5.00?? We couldn't believe that what we got was $5.00. Besides that they were soft, wimpy fries. Now about that shake... not only was it rather small, but they only filled it about 3/4 of the way. That was our first and last time at Five Guys.

My husband and I were out running errands yesterday when I remembered there was an incentive with one of my credit cards for Five Guys. So a combination of me being cheap and always looking for a deal, why not! I rarely eat at fast food places or chains (don't judge, I like to support local), but I remember the first and only other time I'd been to Five Guys, I tried one of their Banana Milkshakes. And OMG. The BEST Banana Milkshake ever! So of course, that was a must. I tried it again and it did not disappoint!! I don't eat beef, so I can't give any input about their burgers, but I did have the BLT. Pretty decent, but what really makes this sandwich is their bread. It's sooo good. They also have pretty solid fries and give you a huge portion! Staff and everyone was nice and doing a good job of hustling on a busy Saturday. And if you like banana shakes, but you've never tried Five Guys. Check. It. Out!

Love this accessible dispenser for the Gold Peak iced tea!

It would be nearly impossible to not admire Five Guys Burgers & Fries, a 30-year-old international chain that I'll confess went under my radar for a while until it started popping up all over Indy and I realized it wasn't just a local joint seemingly doing really, really well. I mean, they pay their employees well. They only use fresh beef (never frozen). They only use peanut oil. They are a family owned chain and, for the most part, employees are treated like family. So, you can imagine my disappointment when I first tried a Five Guys a couple years ago at the suggestion of a friend and immediately thought "I don't like it." It seemed overpriced and incredibly greasy. Sure, you got a lot of food for the money but if your restaurant space looks like a fast food joint it still gives me second thoughts about paying fast casual prices. So, I kind of let go of the place. After all, there's lots of other places in a city like Indy. However, after a long day at work I was really in the mood for something new today and decided I'd finally give the chain, though a different location, another try. I ventured over to the Eastside location close to Washington Square. It's in a strip center with ample accessible parking, a nice curb cut and two glass doors to get in. You go up to the counter to order, then they call your number when it's ready. The menu is pretty simple - burgers, a handful of hot dogs, a BLT, a grilled cheese, a veggie sandwich and a cheese veggie sandwich. They offer both traditional fries and cajun fries and serve up peanuts. They've recently added milkshakes to the menus. The pluses menu wise? You can get any topping for your sandwich that they have at no extra cost. With milkshakes, they have mix-ins that you can also add at no cost - the milkshakes run about $3.99 and are one size. They serve Coke products in a freestyle machine and also offer Gold Peak Iced Tea - I was completely enchanted by an accessible dispenser for the iced tea that worked by simply pushing a button. It was cool, clearly marked as accessible and quite thoughtful. They serve meals in a sack rather than on a tray - while that may turn some off, it's better for accessibility and makes pretty good sense. It's rare that you go into a restaurant, fast or fast casual, where everyone seems to be getting along and actually working. That happened here. They were friendly, though I'm not sure I'd say they crossed that line into actual hospitality. Still, they did the job. Food is fairly abundant if you don't know their servings. For example, a "hamburger" is actually a double burger. A "small hamburger" is a single. I ordered a hamburger expecting, well, a hamburger. I probably would have been happy with a small one. French fries come in 3 sizes, but even the small is pretty generous. They do serve everything a la carte, so don't plan on a combo meal and you can definitely plan on spending more than fast food - my meal of a "hamburger," small fries and large drink ran about $11. The food was considerably better than my last visit. While i still wouldn't call it a favorite burger, I definitely enjoyed it and would order it again. It was considerably less greasy than my last Five Guys trip - it's still decadent, but I didn't feel like I was wrapping myself in a fat suit. Be aware - fresh doesn't necessarily mean less fatty. If Five Guys has a weakness, it's that decadence level. These are burgers and fries - while peanut oil may make it healthier, it's still a burger and fries. The decor is simple - sort of on the edge of a 50's diner, but not quite and with contemporary music in the background that's not the ambience they're aiming for - it's not Johnny Rocket's. It was clean and comfortable, though not necessarily a "relax and hang out" kind of place. So, if you want to splurge on a burger and support a chain known for treating its employees well then Five Guys is a definite option and this Eastside location was a pleasant surprise I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Gave this place a try at lunch today. Parking lot very crowded at lunch but I did see a sign on the way in that said there was additional parking behind the building. As I walked in I saw a big white and red signs telling me where to go to order, where to go to pick up, it was very clear. The menu was posted up high behind the cashier it was big and easy to read. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, little fries, and a shake. It cost more than my normal lunch being close to $15 but really there was enough food for two people and it was tasty

I love Five Guys! Burgers are fresh, not frozen and cooked to order with whatever toppings you want. The french fries are made fresh from the spud of the day, which they gladly put on display and identify the origin of the potatoes. The milkshakes are made with fresh ingredients, not flavorings. It's pricier than one of the fast food chains, but to me it is worth it for higher quality food; and the amount of french fries they give you is incredible.

We started with the Angry Mac & Cheese, which we had never tried before, and wow -- it was phenomenal. The homemade cheese sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly smooth without separating. The andouille sausage and shrimp were cooked beautifully, and the cream sauce had incredible flavor with just the right subtle hint of spice. Absolutely perfect comfort food with an elevated twist. We sat outside on the patio enjoying the beautiful weather during Indy 500 race week, and the atmosphere could not have been better. Every table around us was full of people laughing, enjoying lunch, and soaking in the energy of the city. It was one of those perfect Indianapolis afternoons. For our mains, we both ordered the Cobb salad -- one with grilled chicken and one with fried chicken -- and both were outstanding. I still can't believe how large the "small" salads are! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the homemade ranch dressing was absolutely delicious. The service, as always, was top-notch. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. After finishing my "feast" it was time for dessert, a Root Beer float, served in a tall larger glass with an ample portion of ice cream. I would suggest ordering it for two...it's that big. Convenient location. Zero proof drinks. There were some reviews about long wait times, non-toasted buns and the cost but the write up of the place itself gave me nostalgia vibes for a place called Cobra Burger in Richmond, VA so I had to try my luck. I really wanted to love this place, as I've not found anything like Cobra Burger here in Indy. When we arrived, around 6:45p on a Thursday, the patio had a good amount of people, but inside was pretty empty apart from the bar. We sat at a two top in the bar area. The music was at a pretty low volume, especially considering the amount of reviews that said otherwise. Our server was also bartender, so it initially took her a couple of minutes to come over, which is understandable. She took our order for drinks and then after bringing them back for the food. She was nice and provided good service although juggling tables and the bar, plus she was also pregnant. It took a very long time for us to get our food (close to an hour), despite three guys working the line in the kitchen, banging out burger after burger. The food arrived, hot and correct. Both my husband and I were disappointed that the reviews were right and the burger buns were not toasted. Non-toasted burger buns actually make the burgers harder to eat and less enjoyable. My burger was decent for a non-handmade vegan option; for the price my expectation is amor sophisticated/handmade creative one, but I am thankful that they had a vegan option at all. My husband thought his burger was just okay and that he's had better ones around Indy, so we probably won't be dining here again. For the size of the burger, they should bring you ample napkins without having to ask because it is very messy trying to eat them. For two burgers with fries, one small mac & cheese, and three beers (one regular and two nonalcoholic) before tip the bill was over $80. Now, if the food was top-tier fantastic, I would say fine but being that it was more middle of the road it's a bit pricey.

The tomato was a tomato This isn't all the restaurant though. The other times I visited here were AMAZING The times I sat in the big room were good because, there were TVs to save my boredom, the built in chargers were neat, and the food was just better! BRING BACK THE TVS THAT SHOW WHAT MUSIC IS PLAYING PLS Thank you for listening to me yap!
