I have been going to the Wendy's on Illiff since I was a kid. Within this last year, it has gone down hill. The staff is rude. They don't check the orders before giving to customers. The customer service is horrible. The workers are rude and incapable of doing their jobs. This location has the worst employees and customer service. They are slow with their orders, don't know how to listen or multitask. I had asked for condiments and her response was that "well, I would have to go in the back and open a whole new box." What a bunch of screw-ups at this location. Been twice in the last two months and they screwed up the order each time. Why are these folks so dysfunctional? I ordered inside. Cashier was new and managers left him alone. He was screwing up orders and screwed up mine. He asked managers for help 3 times before Sara finally came over. She gave me a crusty - I guess because I had coupons, or because I am a minority. When they fixed the order, Sara did not make eye contact or apologize. We go to this location often and the food is good, but if you ever order chili, they NEVER get the order correct. We order cheese, onions, sour cream, and hot chili sauce. In the dozens of times we've ordered chili, it never fails they forget one or more things we asked for. Its become a running joke in our house. read more

Wendy's is what Wendy's is. This location just underwent a HUGE facelift. So much so, that it was closed for several months while they completely remodeled inside and out. The inside is now very cozy and nice, but you still get that "greasy" smell from the fryer. I usually avoid eating in, I just drive through and take it home. The food is always dependable. Horrible Wendy's! Never spend less than 20 minutes in the drive thru and honestly it's better to go inside because when they mess up your order it's easier to have them fix it. Tonight we even got a large fry that had the same amount of fries that a small fry we purchased had. It's always something with this location. Tonight it was cold hamburgers-- like they'd been sitting out on a counter for an hour. I've had cold fries before too. The small burgers are usually dry. Orders are nearly always wrong; tonight was missing toppings for a sour cream & chives potato. (At least they had baked potatos; they seem to have them only about 50% of the time.) Also, I often get salad with incorrect or no dressing, or missing utinsels. I seldom patronize Wendy's anymore-- I went tonight only because I had a coupon, and was reminded again why it's not worth it. So sad; Wendy's used to be my favorite fast-food burger chain. I'm sick and all I want is a chili cheese baked potato and a frosty. We've all been there! Hubby goes to Wendy's for me because he's a great hubby and he knows that I haven't eaten all day. He orders my food plus a chicken sandwich with no mayo for him. He said he checked his sandwich and it's covered in sauce! After much to do ( bad customer service, couldn't get anyone to stop making new orders to correct his, etc) he comes home. 40 minutes later! Now keep in mind that we live 1.3 miles away! Seriously 40 minutes? He tells me the drama, which I can understand but all I want is my chili cheese baked potato and I need it now! I open the lid and what the heck! A PLAIN POTATO! NO CHEESE NO CHILI JUST A OVERCOOKED VERY OLD SUPER SMALL PLAIN POTATO! Ugh! The receipt said chili cheese baked potato and he was charged for it! Needless to say I didn't have the heart to send him back! Called the number on receipt and NO ANSWER of course! And to top it off he still has mayo on his sandwich.
