I am sorry whataburger but the taste of their fresh beef patties are phenomenal and the mix of their grilled onions, fresh lettuce and juicy tomatoes are everything. There's a first time for everything. It appears that the teens who work on Tuesday evenings are not the caliber of In-N-Out crew I've come to know in the past 50 years of being an INO O.G. from So. California. There was one young individual named Jay behind the counter who was on fire with his customer service!! One pretty young lady was difficult to understand as she mumbled her words but the food was hot and fresh! Quickly made too!! The buck stopped there. I ordered light-well fries which were amazing until I got to the middle of my fries and found the broken burnt bits. My burger was perfect with grilled whole onion and extra lettuce. Yay! The tables weren't cleaned swiftly. The ketchup dispenser was not working properly. The floors were filthy all over the place. Trash cans were overflowing. The trash receptacles in the soda station were full of trash!! Must've been a truly off evening. Even the crew behind the counter seemed frantic and confused about things. Yes my food was out quickly but I'd be okay if it took a few minutes longer to see the employees be sincerely happy and grateful to be working at such an amazing establishment. Did not expect I would be trying In-N-Out for the first time in Colorado and not California. I'm glad I'm-N-Out has expanded from being in just CA and I heard that there are locations in places like Texas too now. However some have also told me CA In-N-Outs are somehow better than non-CA branches. As for this In-N-Out it was very clean and well staffed. Our orders were taken very quickly and there was a little bit of wait for our food as everything is made fresh right from when you order. There were a lot of seats that people could sit at while they waited and staff members were very on top of cleaning and making sure garbage was thrown out and tables cleaned after each party left a table. Price wise, I haven't had a burger for under $5 in a lpooong time. As for the food, I would say the burgers are definitely solid, especially for the price! Better than McDonald's. However I would say you need to know how to order at In-N-Out to make it a 5 star food tasting experience. I did not get a tutorial on how to order so I got the basics of a cheeseburger animal style and animal style fries. I tried my friends order of plain fries which I actually liked more than animal style and then also a Flying Dutchman style burger which was no buns but the patty is held together by two grilled onions! That Flying Dutchman was super yummy. My friend also told me next time I should go with extra everything and I think that would have made a very big difference. I would come back to In-N-Out again but I would find the hacks on how to order before returning. read more

Finally found the order that makes me understand the In-N-Out burger obsession! That said, this is my 6th time (I think) having an In-N-Out burger in my life on my various visits to the west, and it took this long for me to finally hit. That order, a 2 x 4 (2 patties, 4 slices of cheese), animal style, whole grilled onion, no lettuce or tomato. Fries extra crispy. This gave me the perfect blend of melty cheese and meaty goodness, and by removing the lettuce and tomato, took some of the wetness out of the sandwich. I personally am not a fan of lettuce and tomato (unless it's a very fresh tomato) on most sandwiches. Finally, everytime I have got to In-N-Out, the fries have been terrible. I don't know how or why, but uniformly, every time I didn't enjoy them and didn't finish them. On this visit, at the advice of a local, I went extra crispy and now I can't go back. It takes longer of course to get your order, but worth the wait. As to this location, this crew were pros! The restaurant wasn't crowded, though the drive thru line was very long. My order was taken promptly, and the service was friendly/helpful. I could hear my special orders being called out in the back before my food arrived. Everything was exactly as ordered, and done promptly. I'll definitely visit this location again if I find myself flying into Denver in the future! read more

I judge all of my California friends for not telling me about In-N-Out sooner. I judge In-N-Out for keeping "Animal Style" as a secret menu. Well, maybe that's kind of cool. I have to judge someone tho - maybe those quiet Cali people. All that to say, if this is your first time, order a Double Double and get your fries "Animal Style." You will not be disappointed. You'll feel super cool because you'll be ordering something that isn't on the menu, but the people will know exactly what you're talking about. Unless you live under a rock (no judgement) you know about In-N-Out so I am not going to make this review super long. The burger was good, the animal style fries were great and the grilled cheese with lettuce onion and tomato was delicious. The service was as good as fast as a good fast food chain restaurant, I think we waited about 15 minutes in the restaurant for our food. We came around 11:15 it was starting to get busy when we walked in but really got busy as we ate. They have some sauces and peppers and stuff out to serve yourself. It is good food but it does get so over hyped it takes away from the experience a teenie bit. Just remember the burgers aren't curing illnesses or magically finding you the love of your life. We are from California and always love In-n-Out Burger. Never had any issues until we came to this location. This was the first time we have had horrible food. The animal style fries was cold and fries were stale. The burger bun was hard and stale and the burger was pink. They also did not put the sauce on burger. My husbands fries were also cold and stale. We asked for another animal type fries and we were given another batch of cold animal Style fries. This was definitely not our normal 5 star meal at In-N-Out. read more

Busy, busy, busy. That seems to be the theme of every in and out I've been to. Also seems to be the spot for people to go to at midnight on a Thursday. Overall, no complaints, just be ready to wait a while for your food. The burger is best in my opinion when you get it "animal style." The burger patties themselves were just okay. They were typical, bland fast food patties. The other ingredients is where this place shines IMO. The lettuce, tomato, and pickles were super fresh.
