The owner of this franchise should be ashamed, but I assume has never eaten here or even visited. Chicken sandwich was a thin, crispy, compressed, perfectly round 3/8 inch disc of fried grease. If shown to someone and asked what it is, the least likely reply would be a chicken sandwich. Of course I didn't eat it, so turned to the fries to ward off starvation, but they were not even room temperature. Yikes! What's happened to Wendy's? Why should I have to even rate it at a 1? Very upset! Went and ordered some food. Which included a Parmesan salad that I specifically looked right at the manager (supervisor) and asked if I can please have extra dressing and croutons. She looked straight back at me and gave me a dirty look. I also ordered a sour cream and chive potato. Once I got home...I noticed there was no extra dressing or croutons. Not to mention that there was NO sour cream and NO butter for my potato. I had called the store and a kid named Diego answered the phone. I asked him if I could speak with the manager or supervisor. He stated to me..."she doesn't speak English." I asked him how she could be a manager or supervisor when she didn't speak English. His reply was..."uhhh! I don't know." Then I told him what had happened and we both sat in silence on the phone. I said...so now what? His reply..."I don't know." And that was the end of that call. I usually let things slide. But this! How can a manager or supervisor not be able to communicate with anyone at that store? Does she use a translator? And then to have an employee not know how to correct the problem and make it right? One of the few fast food places that I'll go to because they have grilled chicken wraps. Not many places have them anymore which is sad because they are delicious! This Wendy's has definitely revamped and updated their interior and it is very nice. Even the bathrooms were spotless and clean. One of the more hygiene bathrooms since they have automated toilets, soaps dispensers, and paper towels. They have a nice flat screen on the wall, the furniture looked clean and the floors were spotless. This is good sign that shows this location takes pride in their work and gives me higher hope they handle the food just as well. As for the wraps, amazing as always! Juicy chicken, crisp lettuce, and a warm tortilla. I'm a happy camper. I definitely recommend this Wendy's. read more

I've got to give them credit for how kind the staff was this evening for being short staffed and probably stressed. We only got their strawberry lemonades, which were great per usual, so I can't comment on the food yet. Customer service was terrible. While ordering the young man that was taking my order I got frustrated because we had to clear up an order. When they were giving us our food they were in there laughing and they took long. Food was fine. Typical fast food. However, the manager was sassing customers and making comments under his breath about them, to their faces. My friends gave each other a high five and the manager yelled at us and said "no horsing around!!" I didn't know that high fives were not allowed in your local Wendy's? Finally, as we were leaving, my friend laughed at something I said out loud and the manager came from the back, yelled at everyone in the restaurant and said "HEY, you all need to keep it down, I can hear you ALL the way from the back and I'm trying to get some office work done!!" The service here is always great. You can tell the management teaches customer service, which doesn't seem to be the norm anymore. The food is always good as well. Sigh. This was the first time I've been here since the remodel. The food was very good (as always), but the service was disappointing. I came through the drive-thru and was met with disinterested teens who cared more about chatting with each other than providing good service. When paying, I almost dropped the change since the person handed me the bills with the change floating inside. Can someone train these kids to hand the change first and then the bills? Sure, this takes some level of consideration for the person receiving the change, but I'm sure they can figure it out. It's so much easier to manage it that way. Especially since this particular drive-thru window is abnormally higher than the car windows being served. When getting my food, the young lady handed my drink first since the food was not ready yet. That was a nice gesture, but she didn't give me a straw. When I asked her for one, she seemed irritated and told me it would be in the bag with the food. Then when I said I'd like to take a drink while I wait, she handed me a straw and then mocked me to her friends/co-workers. Again, perhaps thinking of the customer's experience would help. I don't blame the under-trained teens here- I blame the management for a clear failure to train them appropriately. Standard Wendy's fare and quality. I used the drive-thru. The beginning of the drive-thru is a bit of a tight squeeze, and oddly has a stop sign at a crosswalk leading to an entrance. Usually I go to the St. Charles Randall Rd location, but I was in Batavia doing some shopping. read more
