Slower than molasses up a hill during a winter storm. I got three sandwiches and it's been over 20 minutes.

PROS: The drive thru process at this location is normally very efficient and takes no more than 5 minutes per car. Wendy's also offers some specials such as the $1 breakfast biscuit, the 4 for $4.44 and the $5 biggie bag which are good deals. Note that breakfast at this location ends at 10:30am and drive thru is normally open until 1am EST which is a plus in the "city that is always sleeping aka Bayonne" Staff is friendly and efficient. I never have to repeat my order while on the drive thru and they always get it right. CONS: My main complaint is with the online order I placed one day. Once I arrived the attendant wasn't able to find my order. In the Wendy's app I didn't have any confirmation with a bar code or anything like that. I had to find my confirmation email to be able to finally pick up my items. The process needs to be much smoother, not worth the couple bucks you save. Also the budget burgers such as the Jr bacon cheeseburger, Jr cheeseburger deluxe are ultra small, super Jr, almost the same size as the White Castle slides. Same thing with the crispy chicken sandwich. When compared to McDonald's mc chicken and other budget burgers McDonald's is way better but overall Wendy's is still my favorite, just make sure you get the deals to make it worthy. read more

I'm in the bathroom washing my hands and I see an employee coming out the stall and just came to the sink because I was staring at him but he still didn't use soap. When it comes to fast food burger spots, I'm not a fan of many places, but Wendys is okay. I love their Baconator the best. This is my go to order item when I do visit a Wendy's, which isn't much. I feel this is theor best food item to order. The spicy chicken go wrap and nuggets are also pretty good items. I like there is a drive through here, which is convenient, as well as plenty of parking spaces. Since this is a quick fast food establishment, I cant rank it too high, as it will never be as good as other burger restaurants. When your in a lazy mood, and want quick munchies, this is when you come to a Wendy's. read more

I have ordered here a variety of times and almost every time they mess up the order. It's infuriating. I had an uber eats delivery of nuggets with ranch and a sour cream baked potato and they never even bothered to put the ranch sauce, sour cream packet, butter packets or anything in the bag. I have never had such poor service at a Wendy's before. How do you package a sour cream and chives potato and not even include the sour cream. That's half the point of the order. Well... What can I say? Flies.. Lots of flies in the men's room and in the dining area. The food is ok and the staff friendly BUT slooooooow! The place is old and smells. I guess its decades of dirt and greese. If they clean and update the place they might get more customers. I would give it a higher rating but the flies are so gross. Every single time I order especially night shift, the food is cold (bacon hot with chilly burger) watery cheese cups, frosty machine never works, &&&&& my fries are always salty, burnt and cold. Waste of money rather go to Bayonne Eats and have a fresh burger warm crispy fries and a cold drink. This single star is cause their soda is always good. If I could give 0 stars I would. I don't know what the deal is with this management but this place already has 1.5 stars. We waited nearly 25 minutes for our simple order of 2 two for four meals and a large chili. On top that, the nuggets they gave us were, AT MOST, lukewarm. I'm going to start by clarifying that the hours of operation for this Wendy's are 10am until 1 Am. Last week I pulled up to the drive thru around 12:15am and received no response after 5 minutes of calling into the intercom . Being that there were 0 cars in line for the drive thru , I assumed the hours of operation posted online may have been incorrect . The same happened today, however there was music playing in the background through the intercom and coming from the window . After 10 minutes of calling into the intercom ,I was finally rudely answered by the young (maybe not so young) man operating the headset . I proceeded to make an order so simple that my German Shepard could prepare (Asiago ranch sandwich with no bacon, jr cheeseburger, and baked potato). After pulling up to the second window , I watched the young lady who would end up preparing my order take her leisurely time texting until finally preparing my order. I realized my baked potato was missing and walked back to the window to ask for it . No big deal, however upon returning home I notice that there was bacon on my sandwich that I clearly stated was not supposed to have bacon. I am Jewish and cannot eat anything that touches pork, As it is not kosher . This realization came after my 30 minute drive home , making it too late to drive back. With no cars or customers, I do not understand the complexity of my order and why it is so difficult to prepare these three simple things . Also I am not going to be fooled into thinking the drive thru is closed after being ignored, a trick that I believe is used commonly with the night staff at this pitiful establishment . Either the staff here are extremely stupid and incapable , or genuinely rude people who ruined my order purposely out of spite because they were made to do the job that they applied for and are receiving a paycheck to prepare . I believe it's the latter.Nobody is forcing you to work at Wendy's , and if you do not like your job you should find a new one . I highly advise against going to this Wendy's when in the Bayonne area , and driving no more than 5 minutes to the Garfield Avenue location, where much better service is provided , at least at night time . Pitiful. I highly suggest whoever owns this particular franchise monitor the camera footage when not there , and check the tapes from 12am-1am May 24 and you will find that this review is nothing but the truth. read more

Ordered lunch at the drive thru today for a quick bite. Should have read the other yelp reviews first. As a pescatarian the only item on their menu that I can eat is the cod filet sandwich which I ordered as a meal with fries & a drink. Got back to my office & opened up the bag to find that they gave me chicken nuggets instead of the fish sandwich. Since I am now 20 minutes away from there I'm not able to go back & since I don't eat chicken the order went in the garbage. Just to recap, no lunch plus out $6+. All makes me a very unhappy camper! Went inside with kids a few days ago, had one girl at register taking order than packing food and passing to customer. 6 other people were standing around talking. Because the top one was broken and two wasn't put on properly. The manager seen this but not one napkin was offered. Food: it's fast food. Don't expect too much. Workers: Horrible attitudes in drivethru. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE attitudes. The women are RUDE, Impatient, and everything you ask them to do is a problem.. I have not met ONE women at that location without a nasty attitude even when your polite to them. Recently me and my boyfriend decided to finally eat inside, he asked for a spicy chicken sandwich. As he was ordering I saw the lady to the side, slapping the buns together, with a nasty attitude, and she touched EVERYTHING ELSE but never changed her gloves. Finally she smashes the Sandwich closed and shoves it to the side. It made me loose my appetite a little.i was hoping his wasn't prepared like that. So we grab our food, sit down and as he's unraveling his chicken sandwich and picks it up to bite it-which-it's by him mouth!!!- and a fly wriggles out between the buns and back in. I told him and he quickly threw it down and peeled the bun back and saw the HUGE fly laying stuck to his lettuce. In conclusion THIS WOMAN HAD TO HAVE SEEN THIS FLY LAND IN THE SANDWICH BC IT WAS WRAPPED CLOSED TRAPPED INSIDE. I really like this Wendy's. The staff is very polite and the food tastes fresh. I was charged for an extra burger that I hadn't ordered and one of the managers had approached me and handed me my money back along with a sincere apology before I even noticed the charge on the bill. This place is an absolute MESS. The customer services is disgusting. Everytime I go to this place, my order is alway messed up or something is missing from my order. I'm trying to give it a chance, but the managers/owners needs to step up and clean house and get qaulity staff that is respectful and has good customer service skills.
