    Pepperoni and onion pie!

Still loving it! Missed John today, but, Jess is also quite a capable bartenderess in her own right.

I recently came here for dinner with my parents and girlfriend. My parents recommended this place since they been here before and enjoyed the outside patio seating this place offers, as well as their thin pizza. So, we all came on a weekday evening around 430pm and got a nice patio table seat with no issues. We all decided to order a bunch of menu items, and split everything. What we ordered was the large thin crust pizza, an order of buffalo wings, and an order of popcorn chicken. Also a few beers, lol. The pizza was excellent; my favorite item of the meal. Nothing beats some good thin crust pizza. I was very impressed with the buffalo wings too. Good amount of meat on the wings, and the hot sauce was just right. I liked the thai chili dipping sauce that came with the popcorn chicken; made the chicken pieces taste better. Overall, this was a great spot to have some outdoor dining. A must visit for their pizza!

I like this place. And if your not from the area, you probably wouldn't know it exist. The food is great. I had wings, mozzarella sticks, and French fries. I'm he p ices was really great. Also had tap beer with the food. Overall, if you need to get away from the crowds this is the way to go. Friday's they have a live performer during happy hour, nothing special but it's live.

The pretzels...seriously delicious. Both sauces were great!

The Starting Point is as far down Avenue A as you can go. It looks like it is in the middle of a construction site, but don't let any of that fool you, it's a good neighborhood bar. Here is the rating breakdown: Food: Actually fresh and tasty bar food. Had the pretzels and they were unique. That Bar pie is worth the trip alone. And those chicken tacos are just a taste of comfort. The ingredients were fresh and food came out piping hot. And a pretty wide spread beer menu. Service: Everyone there made you feel like one of them. Servers were quick and timely with the needs. Price: For the quality, it's great! $8 bar pie and $4.50 draft beer! It's a steal even. Décor: Lots of sports on the TV but the room is filled with old record albums. The music reflected the walls with great classic rock! Special Noteable: I struggled with this one because the place itself is unique but nothing here was like OMG! This is a solid spot that I world happily like to be a regular at.

Outdoor back Patio with beautiful lights and fans such a great atmosphere!!

Best place to hang and have a bite and drink! Food was still amazing during these hard times of CoVid I picked up food a few times:) then out door seating. Staff is always so nice and polite! The updated patio is beautiful !!

Dive bar with PERFECT PIZZA and nice staff! Off the beaten path but in a safe, quiet area. Tons of streetparking.

We unexpectedly ended up at the Corner Square and were so pleasantly surprised at their pizza. We ordered a pie that was half cheese and half mushroom and it was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly and had amazing cheese that stretched for miles with each bite. After we finished the pie and were leaving, I noticed the number of different types of pies at the counter and was intrigued by one called Brooklyn upside down. I asked the gentleman behind the counter, whose name was Pete, what that was all about and not only did he explain it to me, but he was so generous about giving me a slice to take home and try later which my family enjoyed. The pizza and the service was great and I'm so happy we stopped at this local pizza shop. If I'm ever in the neighborhood, I will definitely stop by again.

Cheesesteak- It was a good cheesesteak but comes off salty, I know they use coopersharp but I couldn't get over the salt factor. I tried to cut some of the richness with some ketchup but that didn't help. I ate half there and took the other half home, it reheated well.

In fact, I could not stop refilling my plate, and I was not alone in that struggle; everyone was raving about the dishes. First, there were rolls that were essentially garlic knots without the oil or garlic. However, they were fine as they were, given that they had a golden brown, lightly crispy crust and a soft, doughy interior. There was also a massive round platter of their mixed salad, which included a base of spring greens topped with cucumbers, tomatoes, black and green olives, pickled carrots, and roasted peppers. I love all of those ingredients, and I prefer heavy toppings on my salads, so I was thrilled. However, on top of all of those vegetables was a mountain of raw red onion slices, which I had to delicately avoid. The last thing anyone would want at a party was strong onion breath, and I am not a fan of onions in even the most private of circumstances. Regardless, it was a creative salad that was much more interesting than others you would typically find at a casual pizzeria. In terms of the main courses, there was a large tray of each of three diverse items. The Penne alla Vodka contained pasta that was cooked to the perfect balance of firmness and softness, while the sauce was deliciously creamy and tangy without being over-the-top rich. The Chicken alla Marsala did not come with many mushrooms, but the poultry had been pounded thin, lightly breaded, and served in a robust wine sauce. The chicken was tender, moist, and tasty. Lastly, the Eggplant Parmigiana was incredible! The eggplant was sliced very thin, which was great because it minimized the eggplant chew factor that can sometimes causes issues for the diner when the slices are too thick or have gooey skin. However, this also meant that the breading was prominent in each bite. That concept might annoy diehard eggplant fans, but because the marinara sauce was sweet and well-seasoned and the cheese was flavorful, I loved how it all came together. When I was preparing to write this review, I looked at Mona Lisa's website and saw how vast their menu was, including a slew of interesting pizzas and pastas. So, I will definitely need to visit in-person to try some of their other delectable items.

We did the $1 extra charge for all the rolls, large salad, potatoes, vegetables and cookie platter. It's amazing that you get all of that just for a dollar extra. I think this is for tray orders only. Also I have gotten pizza there before, the plain pizza is excellent. The rainbow cake is nice too. We tried the buffalo chicken pizza once but it was chewy. And one time I got chicken parm and the chicken was burnt. Usually this place is very good. Highly recommend for affordable and tasty Italian food!
