I pulled to the drive thru just for them to tell me it was door dash only. on maps it does not state that AT ALL. so i waited in the parking lot ordered through doordash at 11:16 pm didn't receive my food until 11:50 during the almost 40 minutes of waiting for my food i went to the window to see what was taking so long to make some nuggets and fries and the guy at the window said we're making it right now and i asked what have yall been doing this whole time and he didn't have an answer for me this was 30 minutes after i already placed my order on door dash and then i get my food and it's cold and stale like it's been sitting there the entire time there was nobody in the drive thru the crew members inside the establishment were just playing around the whole time as i watched through the window. read more

I waited in the drive-thru for nearly 10 minutes with no one else in line. Thinking the place might be closed, I drove around to the windows and saw two young employees sitting ON the front counter, distracted on their phones. I honked to get their attention, but to make matters worse, the manager was asleep in her car, the honk woke her up. As I was waiting for my food, I could smell weed coming from the managers car. Returned to CA with SUV after getting brakes checked and repaired here. Upon registration in CA required to get a brake and light inspection because of salvaged car history. The repair shop said the caliper and brake pads were installed backwards and on wrong side! Need to redo the job of Discount Auto. Poor service. $600+. We have had great experiences in the past but in the last week we have had our vehicle towed here twice and told them the issue. Yet they kept charging us (over $300 total, not to mention tow fees) to charge other issues that didnt need fixed, and we woke up this morning to a dead car again. When we called and spoke to the manager we told him this and he said it would be another $300. Hell no. No thank you sir, you have now lost a long time customer because you wanted to keep charging us to put a bandaid on an issue that needed repaired and failed to do it right the first time, and had terrible customer service. We traveled from MD to SC for a Marine graduation. Alas the car broke down in Beuafort, SC. All of the oil had drained out of our 2010 Highlander - luckily right in the driveway, so no complete engine seizure. I called DASC and spoke directly with Donna. She arranged to have a tow truck meet me at 1400. Tow truck arrived 5 minutes early - wow no waiting! Wayne and Tom were friendly, professional and just plain pleasant to work with, including fishing tips ;-) Mechanics had the problem diagnosed before they went home that evening and the car repaired less than 24 hours after I spoke with Donna. This is without a doubt the most amazing automotive service experience I have ever had! (Thus I had to write my first Yelp review) I can't say enough good about everyone involved who were knowledgeable, professional, patient, and understanding throughout the process. First , I want to thank the staff and the owner of Discount Auto Center, they have help me have trust in people again being honest and doing what they say the will do and not RIP YOU OFF because you are a female. I arrived in Beaufort from Boston and my air was not working even though, I had just paid a pretty penny to have it fixed before I left Boston. The Discount Auto Center Family took my car and tested and did not find anything wrong with the air but they did put a die in it and free on so if it was leaking they would find it if I needed to bring it back. Well of course the air went away in a day and I was left high and dry in a hot car once again. I had to work so I was not able to bring it back until that Monday on my way to work . They advise me to bring it back on my day off because I needed my car to get to work in Bluffton ( if I had been closer they would have even giving me car service) . I did as was requested and they did find the leak but was not able to fix that day which was a Friday and I had to return to work on Saturday. The owner ask my schedule for work and I told her she said OK bring your car back on Sunday morning and we will fix it for you and have it ready by the time you need to go to work and they dd just that. Anyone who needs car service and want to be treated special Please use Discount Auto Center. The price is reasonable and they give you top service. I brought my Nissan to you guys on August 15th. I am very displeased and I feel uncomfortable with the amount I paid today because I stated over and over again how I "only wanted my Compressor Clutch replaced." I had bought the part myself online and I only needed the compressor clutch replaced(that was it.) I made sure I was very clear on this! Your receptionist quoted me around $150.00 on Monday August 13th. Today, your receptionist talked to my husband and I back and fourth throughout the day on the phone, trying to charge us for all these additional services that my car "supposedly" needed to have done but we said we only wanted the part that we brought to you replaced! We have a friend who is a mechanic and he was going to take care of anything else that needed to be done. Our mechanic buddy was going to replace the compressor clutch himself but he did not have the correct tools to do so. I let him know what your company charged us for, and he even stated that we were "ripped off!" After speaking back and fourth with your receptionist and what we only wanted to have done, she then told my husband that "the bolt was too hard to take off, and that my car needed a brand new compressor and that the total would come out to over $300.00." We stated "Do not replace our compressor, we only want you to put in the new compressor clutch (said it about four times now) In the end, you guys charged us for Air Conditioning services ($69.95) which we did not want and we didn't even sign the paper at the bottom saying we wanted it done however, your company charged us anyways. Your receptionist said "it was mandatory to have the air conditioning service done." I would not have came to you guys if I knew you were going to charge us $250.36 to remove & replace the clutch (which we purchased already) and the extra $69.95 for air conditioning service. I asked your receptionist "why did you charge me the $69.95?" when I specifically stated multiple times and my husband did as well, that "we did not want to pay for any additional services other then the clutch replacement!" Then the receptionist said "are you military? I can give you a discount which is not much but it helps." I feel like this company took advantage of my husband and I. I dropped my car off today at 8:00 a.m and it was not finished until 5:30 (after hours) or else I would of spoken to the manager. I am very unhappy with this company and our total. I appreciate them giving us a military discount. The receptionist decided to do that only after I was concerned & unhappy about the extra charges I was charged. The company put freon in my car($9.90) which I also appreciate, but they really need to work on their costumer service and listening to what the costumers want. I had a bad feeling about coming here in the first place & my best advice to anyone reading this is to go with your gut and if you don't feel comfortable with something don't go through with it. I admit I don't know a lot about cars but I do know that I don't like to waste money. My husband and I work hard for our money and we don't like to throw it away. So when I trust a company with my money I expect them to do what I ask for and not blind side me. read more

The lady that runs the shop had my car detailed for me because she knew I wanted to have it cleaned before my husband returned from deployment. I had to wait to pick it up until I had a day off and that didn't leave me enough time to have it done myself. So incredible that she helped me out like that! We brought my husbands car here because it got good ratings but was very disappointed. We dropped off the car Wednesday evening and they didn't even look at the car until Saturday just to tell us it was too low for the lift they had. My husband told them to take off the bumper (which is so easy I could do it) so it would go onto the lift and they didn't even do that. I had to walk in on Monday for them to say they were too busy to work on it and that they didn't want to take the kit off the car to fix it. It took 5 days for them to look at the car and say they couldn't fix it!!! 5 days! Would not Recommend this place unless you want to wait 2 weeks for a simple repair. read more
