I called to see if I needed to make an appointment to get my brakes checked and she said I could bring it right in and the diagnosis would be free! I was greeted and assisted as soon as I got inside. The office is cozy for waiting and they have coffee! She walked me out to my car to show me all the issues, was transparent in communication, and went over pricing with me. My grand daughter took her vehicle to this place yesterday and was told to return today at 1030. There was 1 employee working and the same today and he was the mechanic. He was excellent at replacing the brakes. He worked 1 job at a time. Lots of folks turned away when they saw only 1 employee and there were time issues. You are losing business and are wearing this capable young man out. You have no one to answer phone calls while the mechanic is busy working on customers vehicles. Support this young man by hiring someone to answer the phone and hire another mechanic or 2. You don't need a manager, put the senior mechanic in charge, save some $ and increase the senior mechanics salary. What you are currently doing, is not working so try something different. read more

If you value your and your family's safety please do them and yourself a favor and DO NOT take your vehicle here! I took my car to this location about a month ago to get my brakes serviced because I was drawn in by their "fast" service. With a name like Brakes for Less you would also think that you would save a couple of bucks in the process. What you don't find out until later is that the "less" part actually refers to the quality of service that you get. Spent $1300 having my front pads,rotors and calipers replaced while I waited for a couple of hours. Everything seemed fine until two days ago when my wife said she heard what sounded like a rattle coming from underneath the car. I took a look around and didn't see anything that seemed loose under the car. Yesterday on her way home from work we were talking on the phone when she said in a frightened voice that "something is really wrong with the car". I told her to pull over and that I was getting in the car to come to her. When I arrived the car was unable to move forward but would move in reverse. I looked around and again could not diagnose what the issue could be. I ended up having my car towed to the dealership where they told me that my caliper was missing the bolt that held it in place. This had caused it to fall off and prevented the car from moving. It also caused damage to the tire rim and they recommended it be replaced for safety reasons which ran another $550. Total cost so far for a shoddy brake job $1850. I was told by the dealership that I was the second person this week to come in with the same issue that had gotten their brakes done at this brakes for less location and that they usually average 1 per week from that location. I went to brakes for less to let them know of what happened and to get a refund plus damages. I was passed off to someone who told me at first that "stuff like this happens all the time". I told him that there is no way that this happens all the time or else there would be some serious safety issues and recalls that needed to be made for all vehicles. He went and sat down and pulled up my invoice and the work that they had done and then said "I'm trying to figure out who worked on it exactly because this doesn't happen a lot". I interjected with "well which one is it, does it happen all the time or does it not?!". In the end he could not help me further and I informed him that I would be taking legal action, writing a negative review and reporting it to the better business bureau read more

Came here for a tire repair on a Saturday. It is super clean on the inside. The lady behind the desk was super friendly and great at her job. They were able to squeeze me in without an appointment. I was so pleasantly surprised when I serviced my car here I ended up bringing them my mother's SUV to service the next week. One of the friendliest and most honest shops I've been to. I've had decent luck witt Tuffy's too for the most part, so not knockin' them. Would much rather wait in this waiting room though, I'll tell ya' that! It's so nice! Ex Automotive Engineer: The manager Rusty is inept and often not around. He lies constantly and his staff has no idea what he tells people. They changed an ABS sensor on my wife's car but the cable was the problem not the sensor. Three months later it's still not fixed. I have had to chase them constantly. They don't call back, they are rude, and unprofessional. Stay away! Note they are Brakes For Less not the more reputable Brakes 4 Less. This is their only location. read more

took my car there for brakes and a squeking coming from the steering wheel they said it was in the suspension. and ball joints and control arms needed replacing they replaced these parts and said i still needed struts that still didnt fix the problem charged me over 1900 dollars i was not happy kept my car over a week missed 3 days of work. gave me a 150 dollar discount i will never take my car there again feel like i was taken advantage of they could have given me a better discount. i will never take my car there again. and would not recommend them to any one read more

They got the job done but not right. If something ever goes wrong after they worked on your vehicle and you take it back to them because what they fixed might be the problem still they are awful to work with. They don't care how much money you've put into it already they're just trying to get more out of you. Worst experience with a shop I've ever had. read more
