This is the worst Wendy's I have ever been to. I ordered my meal (two medium combos) and proceeded to wait for 55 minutes. In the 55 minutes I was standing there, no more than 5 orders were served. I eventually gave up, ordered the exact same meal from the Sonic across the street, and it was ready by the time I got there. That is a very good Sonic, I recommend going there instead. read more

This Wendy's location can be inconsistent with the quality of service and the taste of the food. I typically order chili, a Frosty, or a salad--items they usually can't mess up. The restaurant is currently under construction but has chosen to remain open, challenging the ordering process. I stopped by after my visit to Prospect Park zoo. There was no air conditioner inside and the food was took really long even though there were not that many people. I am not sure if the air conditioner was down but someone needs to fix it because I am not sure how the workers were able to work in those conditioners. The worst kind of people come here, and though the staff try their best and hardest, the get orders wrong (i.e. I put in requests on the app and none of them were followed). Similar to other fast-food restaurants, this place has become overrun with delivery men who just stand around the pickup line and prevent anyone else from accessing the counter; I totally get that it's their job, but it's obnoxious and super aggressive. Turrrible customer service. Ugly eating area. Decent food. This Wendy's has to be one of the oldest in NYC and it has not aged well. It is currently a hangout for the unruly and unhinged and the employees turn a blind eye to any and all tomfoolery. Delivery people sit out front in groups, waiting to pick up deliveries and they will cut in front of you to do it. The food is pretty standard but I'm sure it would taste better if the employees gave a damn. I ordered a taco salad today that was actually good. You build it yourself, which is cool. This was horrible. I walked in and the place smelled, before I was about to order I walked in the bathroom and the toilet was overflowing with .... Stuff. I said to myself, let me walk a little in the park and come back when it is cleaned up and the place is aired out. 2 hours later , the place was worse. Although a majority of reviews are negative for this Wendy's location, I must say I haven't had a bad experience here. Usually, when I've been here, there's no line. My order (junior bacon cheeseburger, fries, nuggets, and a drink) is taken and fulfilled promptly. There's always seating available. The staff isn't horrible; not the nicest nor meanest people in the world. I want to try the cranberry chicken salad next time. read more

I just had the worst experience at this restaurant and I wanted to leave a review and I see they have 1.6 Stars which is the lowest rating for any restaurant that I have ever seen. There was a really long line in the Drive-Thru which just goes to show you the people who eat Wendy's don't care what they eat. I was trying to pick up an order and the guy just jumped right over me and took care of somebody else and then when I told him about my order he acted like he didn't speak any English at all. I'm not sure what he thought was funny about that or why he's allowed to do that. If he doesn't speak any English at all I don't know why he's the guy handing out orders. Then somebody else who works there shoved in order toward me and when I tried to grab the order he laughed at me and handed it to somebody else. There needs to be a better system for managing the line. I waited outside about 30-40 minutes so that I can order a small $1.60 frosty. I was determined. There were about 4 people in this line. I get that they are also fielding traffic from the cars through the drive through window. However, everyone was confused how this works. There are no signs. One guy yelled that he was told to stand in the car line and then they refused to give him his order and he had to come back to the back door. Multiple people that placed their orders online were allowed to cut the real person line, forcing everyone outside to wait longer. I watched as about 6-7 people were able to get through the doors before this sweaty crew, continuing to wait. . . . and wait. . . . Once inside it didn't get any better. This has got to be the dirtiest Wendy's I have ever been into. The floor was dirty, and every single table was nasty. There were homeless and people of unsound minds were either sitting around staring at customers, refilling drinks or trying to have conversations with customers. It just didn't feel safe. The staff is just too slow with the taking orders therefore there's always a long line. The staff looks miserable and it rubs off and they don't try to hide it, they seem like they never smile. I think they are fairly slow with making accommodations because on our chicken sandwich we had ordered we said no lettuce and they decided to put nothing in the sandwich besides the chicken. The chicken nuggets we received were not hot, they were kind of cold. The fries were fresh. This place is filled with a lot of kids during after school common hours which can be disturbing. If you really want Wendy's and this is your only go to location expect to wait a while on the line even if it's for the drive thru because the service sucks. HORRIBLE, they are not clean or considerate. I ordered food last night. They gave me my spicy chicken combo and when I opened the bag my sandwich and fries were submerged in my strawberry lemonade so I couldn't eat it. So I went back and showed them, and they gave me a new sandwich that was hard as a rock, the bread had a black spot and the fries were even harder. Rated R for Ratchet the freaks come out at night So Take the drive through the never have half the menu Ive done after jogging & bouldering, ive walked in there hungry as heck on 3 different occasions & the first 3 things I asked for including all the salads are always gone or allegedly sold out.
