I don't often write reviews for large chains anymore, but I felt the need to write one for this location. I placed a mobile order for the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger Biggie Bag with spicy nuggets, fries, and a chocolate milk. I also ordered two of the Cinnabon pull-aparts. About 10-ish minutes after placing the order, I arrived and tried to pick it up in the drive-thru. Not only did I wait just under 20 minutes for my order in the parking lot, but I ended up picking up inside after myself and another customer ran out of patience. Wow, this is an exquisitely bad Wendy's, or is the chain altogether terrible now? A year ago this was like a normal Wendy's, expectations are pretty low when you go to a fast food drive through. I find about half the time you get what you order, but even then it's the right item not what you'd expect in terms of normal Wendy's quality. I've got spicy chicken sandwiches cold, or without lettuce or tomato. I don't know if just this store or Wendy's everywhere have gotten this bad, but if a store can be this bad and keep the franchise I wouldn't take a chance on a Wendy's anywhere. read more

If I could leave it 0 stars I would. I have always have some kind of issue with this particular Wendy's and last night sealed it. I had to make a trip to the ER last night and didn't get home till 11 and had a very hungry child. We looked on DoorDash and Wendy's was still open, so we placed an order. My driver got there shortly after the order was placed to find someone sweeping, no workers to be found and the lady told him they were closed. Keep in mind, I was able to place the order and online and says the are open until 1am! My driver stressed it was a DoorDash order and finally two workers doing who knows what crawl out of their car and go in to make a list, as they do a line of car also wanting orders. I finally receive my food almost at 1am. This is no way on my driver, this is a Wendy's issue. The food was also wrong, the fries were burnt and inedible. I got there about 10 mins after putting the order in on my phone and when I get there the lady is telling people she closed rudely so, was not even 30 mins before closing time. started to wave her hands out of the drive thru window and screaming pull up pull up. I have eaten at this Wendy's three times. The first and second times, I made a mental note to myself: "Don't go there again. Usually, at least one of the items I want are not available (coffee, lemonade, garlic fries, SW taco salad). And, the staff are cold and well practiced in ignoring customers. Last night, I saw on TV an ad for Wendy's New Italian Mozzarella sandwich. I rationalized: it is new, so the employees have likely not totally messed it up. Wrong. It was messed up. The chicken was shredded and squeezed and cooked until it was bone dry. The crust was limp and had no crisp. People there are very nice and the food is cooked well. However, every time I go, they said that the they aren't able to scan the mobile app, so you can never use any discount on the food or rewards and the food is very expensive. Every time I go there like the app it's not working and they never give you a receipt so you never know if you're getting overcharged. If you're in Chapel Hill or Carrboro and feeling like having some Wendy's, get it out of your mind. Especially at night. The night crew is rude, disrespectful, and incompetent. Pulling up to the drive-thru expect to be met with a cloud of pot smoke when they open the window. Don't expect any Frostys after 9pm and heaven forbid you order and pay for something they're out of. A refund is out of the question. You'll lose your money or be forced to get something you really don't want. Just TERRIBLE! They should all be fired.  The restaurant is presentable which is the nicest thing I could say. If you do go there out of jones fulfillment double check your bag before you leave. They can't seem to get an order right to save their lives. They even got my mobile order wrong; it's in writing. Gave me Cheeseburgers when I ordered no cheese and small Frostys when I paid for medium. Pick something else and save yourself the aggravation. THE WORST! read more

This is my first time ever leaving a yelp review as this is one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Wendy's. There was no cashier so I was just standing at the front for about 8-10 min , then when a cashier finally appeared they took someone else's order before me. No "sorry for the wait" or anything. Me and my boyfriend ordered nuggets and as i was watching the employees make my meal i saw one of the men stick his (gloved) hand into the nuggets and eat a nugget out of the tray keeping the nuggets warm. He could have grabbed a little cup to put a few nuggets on the side to eat but he ate STRAIGHT OUT OF THE TRAY. Then he did the same with a fry. It took over 30 minutes to get my order. By the time I got the order, the chili that I had ordered to go with it was cold. I took it back up, and by the time I got a new chili, my sandwich was cold. I took the sandwich up and they remade it. My fries were cold also, but I was afraid to say anything. I asked if I could get a frostie for all the trouble. I was told that they can't do that! The system went down after I had ordered. I watched them give away food. The people who complained the most got their order quicker. One customer said that I'll give you cash for an order and you can put the money in your pocket. The cashier took it. I'm not sure what he done with it. He could have just kept the change. I've been to this Wendy's once or twice before, and it's always been fine, but my goodness were they a train wreck tonight! It took almost 10 minutes for me to order and get my food via the drive-thru, and there was only one car in front of me. I had to ask for my drink and then a straw, and I should've asked for my sauce too, since they forgot to add that to my bag. Also, they need some quality control, because seeing this chicken nugget right on top (in complete view of the worker who put the carton in the bag) almost made me throw the whole thing away.
